Abusive boyfriend, please help me leave

I've finally come to the point of being able to say it, but it's still a very painful and confusing thing to say so please don't say hurtful things. Last summer my boyfriend assaulted me (in you know which way), after I came out as trans to him. Since then, it's almost like a switch flipped in him and he's been treating me horribly. I constantly feel like I'm going insane, and the pain is unbearable. I know I should've left much earlier but I was (and am) heavily traumatized and couldn't think or act rationally at all. Things changed very suddenly and it's still very hard to believe what's happening. But I've finally come to the point of realizing that I need to leave and seek safety from this person.

Unfortunately I've become financially dependent on him after the assault and he's forbidden me from finding a new job, which is why I haven't. I'm just afraid. Even doing this behind his back is making me feel super paranoid. I don't know what he's capable of and I don't want to go through some things again... My goal is to secretly move to another city and find a job there, but I don't have anyone to help me with this, and I know it's a big thing to ask of strangers, but if anyone would be willing to help me it would mean everything to me. Messing around with the idea of using textures to "color" an image using @nonbinary-punk-art's beautiful linework from the Disco Elysium coloring book. Also served a good use in getting me more used to Affinity Designer.

Originally planned on doing multiple different experiments with different medias with the linework as a consistent base, but my motivation is again fading so perhaps if I do get up the art energy I shall add onto this post.
