I literally can't sleep because as cute as the new ending sequence was, I can't help but notice that it foreshadows possible events that are about to unfold. So here's my theory: Mako will somehow have her soul placed in a machine that will make tons of artificial Kamui like Senketsu to fight the ones made by the Primordial Life Fiber. My reasoning behind this: 1) The rainbow effect Raygo emits can be easily linked to the 7 chakras, aka the physical link to your soul, as shown in episode 16. (One color for each chakra.) The first scene of the new ending shows Mako pouring a rainbow into a machine and the image of her in the kiddie pool with the rainbow-spouting elephant could be a visual metaphor of her having a pure soul. 2) She has a higher Life Fiber tolerance than anyone else. Let me spell this out: She dove into the fight between Berserk Senketsu and Satsuki and stopped it. This wasn't completely because she's too stupid to know what's happening, it's also because Life Fiber has literally no effect on her, making her the perfect candidate for producing something that can negate the effects of Life Fiber weapons on a mass scale. 3) In episode 7 when Mako becomes the head of the Fight Club she does calculations of the club's expenses and a certain number appears in the reflection of her glasses. Go ahead and pause and turn that frame upside down. Okay I can sleep now that this is all typed out. (I'm still going to be sad when it happens.)
