hey everyone, sorry for not posting these last few days but the small revamp i started a month ago turned into a full scale one so i will be holding all threads at this time while i work on everything. most will be dropped after, HOWEVER! i am still very interested in continuing my ongoing plots, pairings, and ideas with everyone so i will contact each of you about where we can go from here when i finish ;v;

“ you would like to be? ” she repeats in confusion, her already wrinkled features tensing further. “ whatever you have to say couldn't be done with a phone call or even a text i could've seen tomorrow? ” she sighs, arms crossing as she waits in silence for his next words, but they're nothing like what she was expecting. “ congratulations! ” the word instinctively escapes her lips with an exaggerated cheer before her eyebrows raise. “ i'm going to need you to explain a little bit more. ”

"i would like to be." zion's mind was still messed up, enough to not know how to formulate the next sentences. "michaela, we need to talk." although not knowing how the relationship between the two would be after the information, the man seemed adamant about sharing the information. "i'm going to be a dad."

she can't help but scowl when he doesn't humor her act, and a sigh leaves her lips when she's forced to take a seat. while he speaks, she crosses her legs and leans back on the bed. her features shift to display feigned innocence, as she wasn't about to back down so quickly. “ how do you know i'm not actually your fiancée? ” she huffs. “ clearly your parents failed to mention to you that they set up a little arrangement because of how you're oh-so-hard to pin down. ” her voice pitches sarcastically before her eyebrows wrinkle, and she resumes the innocent act. “ you're painting me to be the bad guy when all i really did was try and surprise my new sweetie. ”

low chuckle emits his chest as she tries to charm her way out, attempting to shake off his grip though it only tightens. " i don't think so. " can't hide his amusement with the femme however, it's been forever since he's had something exciting happen — colour him intrigued. " you know, i found it weird when the concierge told me my fiance was already up here and to have a good rest of my night. " dongwoo can't help but laugh as he loosens his grip on the femme, moving to sit her back on the edge of the bed. " considering you know, the fact that i don't have a fiance. no woman ever could tie me down. " taunts, smirk tugging at edges. " so is this what you do for fun ? con people and take hard-working men's money and do as you please ? "

his confusion is evident as his gaze drifts away. “ you never said i couldn't bring someone... ” jaxon's eyes return to her and he sighs, steeling his gaze. “ 'we could start over. be friends. move on.' if you never meant any of those words, you shouldn't have said it in the first place. you should've made up a lie to uninvite me so we could've saved each other from all this trouble. ”

standing in the shadows, gwen tuts in disappointment, her impatience fueling the itchiness in her throat. her gaze narrows at the sight of the male, and she follows with silenced footsteps. she closes the gap quickly but trails behind for minutes before her eyebrows raise slightly in recognition. her fingers reach out and wrap around his arm, tugging him back firmly. “ are you kidding me? ” her eyes land first on the bag in his hands, then she meets his with irritation evident in hers. “ and you're not sharing? what the fuck? ”

♡˗ˏ✎*ೃ˚ :; once  the  hustle  and  bustle  of  the  city  quiets  down  and  streets  are  nearly  deserted,  eddy  goes  out  on  his  midnight  walk.  the  night's  dark  veil  allows  him  to  feed  unbothered.  with  the  freshly  delivered  blood  bag  in  hand,  he  walks  down  the  street,  fangs  piercing  the  plastic  material  its  made  of  and  sucking  out  the  contents  slowly.  he's  savoring  the  taste  since  it's  been  quite  a  while  since  he  last  consumed  human  blood.  he  feels  like  he's  already  recharged  but  he  can't  really  get  enough.

“ i can't believe you did this. ” she takes a second glance around before turning to him with a bright smile. “ this is amazing — i love it! ” sakhi wraps her arms around him for a grateful hug before she walks further into the room. “ no wonder why i've barely seen you these last few days. i was wondering where you were always going off to. thank you, really. i appreciate you for doing all this. ”

"over the past few days." although short, aiden's answer carried a lot of meaning. he had hidden in that room for hours so he could at least provide a comfortable place for sakhi to draw. they were away from home, in the middle of a trip with their hitherto virtual friends, but it didn't have to be unfamiliar for her. "so, what do you think?"

“ i'm so happy everything went well. i can't believe the stream raised so much money. ” a bright smile curves megumi's lips as asuka gives her the hug she wanted, and she's practically giddy with excitement. “ ooh, if i get something 10-scoops high, you better not take that back. ” she jokes with a laugh as they reach their destination. “ i don't think i can actually do that, but a girl can dream. ”

"i know! i saw it!" the animation in asuka's voice was clear, especially along with the little claps she gave. "i'm so proud of you, how did you feel?" and then she pulled the other into a side hug so they could continue the walk to the ice cream shop. "now it's official, i'm going to keep my word and let you choose how many scoops of ice cream you can take. i'll pay."

alex scoffs at yvette's words and her eyes narrow slightly. “ have you thought to consider that the things you save so-called innocents from are the true innocents? how many times have i seen not just my kind minding their business or even doing good in the world, but the likes of you capture and torture them. ” her eyebrows raise before she shifts to plant herself back on the ground. “ there are all kinds of bad apples, no matter what the creatures are. you don't just get to decide to end a random's life because one of their kind decided to be bad. i could have killed you by now if i were a monster like your beliefs have taught you; there's nothing really stopping me. ” her eyes bore into the other's as if she's challenging her to act out, but alex shrugs. “ i'm about to save your ass from this place too. i truly must be such a fearsome monster. ”

She bristles at the observations despite them being true. "We do that to save innocent people from things like you." Another hiss of pain releases from her lips as she resets her joint. It would hurt like hell, especially if she still had to use it, but at least her hands are free. The idea of being a sitting duck to either her or the people that caught them didn't sit well with her. Knowing that the other woman couldn't die and seemingly healed in seconds, Yvette hated the idea of yet another unfair advantage between them. Her eyes narrow at hearing the plan moving forward. "I don't like being sat in the corner with others doing my work for me," she remarks. Lying in wait, she could do, but she isn't about to let her do all the work either. Her irritation of being captured is on par with being stuck with some immortal being. "If you want to take the brunt of it, sure. Go right ahead. But I'm sure as hell not going to just sit back."

the door was right there. just as she felt like she would get away from this scott-free, she feels his grip on her wrist and her eyes shut with an annoyed sigh before he pulls her toward him. her lips quickly pull into a tight-lipped smile as she meets his gaze, her head tilting slightly as she resumes the act. “ oh, you know — outside… just to get some fresh air. ” she tries to shake his grip off her. “ it's so sweet of you to be so concerned about me, but it's not that late. ” she pats his chest with her other hand. “ there are plenty of lights and people outside; i think i can manage just fine, honey. i know you'll miss me just like i've missed you the whole day, but i'll be back soon. ”

unable to stifle the chuckle that escapes his chest upon her immediate response, she's so good he almost wants to join in on the shenanigans but he just can't let this go so easily. " uhuh. " the male lets out, eyes watching her every little move as she attempts some sad excuse of an escape. " oh, you did ? so sweet of you, honey. " dongwoo gives back the same energy, eyes narrowing as she heads towards the exit before he grips a tight hold on the femme's wrist, pulling her in to his own frame. " not so fast, princess. where do you think you're going ? it's far too late to walk around outside all alone, don't you think ? "

his eyebrows tense at her initial words, and his jaw clenches as this was more serious than he thought. he half-regrets making light of the situation, seeing how guilty she seems. when she states the reason, he shakes his head. “ that's not your fault, then. all you're guilty of is helping them get a fake id, but that's barely anything. what they do with the id after has nothing to do with you. ”

"I think I am responsible for someone dying." Paisley said as she felt as though her actions had played a large part in the situation. She was filled with guilt but at the same time she was young and didn't want to spend her life behind bars. Paisley had made a stupid mistake and her actions had been fatal. "I helped get someone a fake ID and they drank too much and died."

emily grumbles to herself underneath the bedsheets she hid under before folding them down in a swift motion, forcibly smiling as she looks at the male. “ honey. ” she moves off the bed, haphazardly fixing everything. “ you got back so much sooner than i thought. ” she says in a sweet voice while going to the table filled with plates to retrieve her bag and slip on her jacket. “ i went ahead and ordered some things for you, so you can relax and enjoy. i'm just going to go outside for a walk, reallll quick. ”

“ it's deal or no deal; you don't get to add-on stuff you want. ” he grumbles as his features wrinkle, but despite his words, he's already contemplating where they could go for dessert after. a hand self-consciously rubs his cheek. “ i had some instant noodles a while ago. i was up all night, so that's probably why i look like a ghost. ” ha. he chuckles at the reference to his online alias before shaking his head. “ i'm starving, so let's get going. i'll call an uber? or you driving? ”

"i'll accept, as long as you put dessert in that offer too." maria crossed arms and narrowed eyes, as if she was threatening him in some way, but then winked one of her eyes to show that she was just joking. "have you eaten anything today? looks like the blood has drained from your face."
