takeshi laughs, “yeah jae obviously that wasn’t the ‘trick’ you were talking about.” takeshi let’s there be a pause of silence, working carefully making sure to get each flower prepped. he looks down at the buckets briefly noticing one is already full so he gets up and bends to get it. he puts it in one of the refrigerators and goes back to the table. “i love my job, even when i have a lot to do here i never feel bad? like even when i’m overwhelmed or stressed it never really bothers me because i’m doing something i always dreamed of doing,”  takeshi just shrugs he never does things he doesn’t like and if something is bothersome he just drops it unless its a must. if he must do it he half-assess it, not really caring much to be the best at it. takeshi then raises an eyebrow, “only ten minutes? so i’m worth that much to you?” takeshi leans against the table grabbing another flower and cutting it. “and then you’re going to work at midnight?,” takeshi tsks and shakes his head, looking seemingly disappointed. but the mischievous twinkle in his eye says otherwise, “don’t plan to take me home, huh? maybe i could’ve given you a weeks pay..oh well your loss.”

"if you keep that up, you won't get to see any 'trick' of mine." jaehyuk retorts with a slight scoff, though his tone is all but serious. an empty threat he's sure the other can pick up on. however, his features soften as the other starts talking about his job, head tilting to the side to give the other his full attention even though his hands are still busy fulfilling the task he was given. "would imagine it's kind of hard to get irritated or pissed off when you're surrounded by pretty things all day." jae says with a nod, gesturing towards the abundance of flowers that were in the room.  "though i'm sure you've dealt with a few... less likable customers. i've seen clips of that one show — shit what's it called?! bridezillas?? is that the title?" he asks with a slight chuckle. jae couldn't even imagine trying to put up with one of the brides-to-be on that show, his patience for things like that was far too thin. "okay maybe twenty minutes, if you're lucky.. but that's pushing it." he teases, glancing over at the other as a slight smirk starts to form across his features. "depends. i could be persuaded to put it off until tomorrow." there's a certain tone to his voice, though he doesn't glance back over at takeshi as he speaks, pretending to be more focused on his 'work' than the conversation they were having. "aw, is someone mad they don't get to feel what my sheets feel like against their skin?" he teases, a tsk of his own falling form his lips as he turns to fully face the other. "luckily enough for you, i practically work from home."

huntors‌:

“hehe, well you will just have to stay curious!” hunter smiled wide, “you’re really suspicious what do you actually do?” hunter then realizes something, “just to make sure, you’re paying right? and i don’t have to pay you back? and i’m not pole dancing for you for sushi so tell me now or i’m out.”

"you're lucky i'm patient enough to be curious!" jae grins back, wiggling his brow for added effect. "if i told you what i did, i'd have to kill you. which i don't really want to do considering you're joining me for food." he teases, nodding his head. "yes, i'm paying for the food. wouldn't have asked you to come only to expect you to pay for your meal."

ᴇxᴘᴏsᴇᴅ ғʟᴇsʜ ᴏғ ᴛʜɪɢʜs ᴡᴀs ᴄᴏɴᴄᴇᴀʟᴇᴅ ʙʏ ᴄᴀʙʟᴇ-ᴋɴɪᴛ as Isaac was positioned upon his sofa with intertwined legs, the television adjacent flickering before obsidian irises with a show lacking in substance. Digits scrolled through his cellular device, mind-numbing statistics splattered across the glow of the screen, and the contemplation to call it a night crept; he wasn’t tired, but he had nothing to occupy his time, not even having books available to carry him into a slumber. The knock that bounced through an apartment startled Isaac, the pace of his chest increasing in a response, wondering who it could be coming to his home at this hour; he hadn’t invited anyone around … had he? Raising to his feet, allowing the blanket that was on his lap to cascade to the floor, Isaac carried his frame to his door with hesitance slowing the pace of steps. Forcing silence of the tidal-wave of thoughts Isaac opened his door with a trembled palm and welcomed the wave of relief when he acquainted with familiarity. “ Oh … Jae, hi. ” Isaac spoke quiet in response, attempting to fight the burning sensation that rushed to a cheek with the contact, “ Uh–– You want m-me to … to join you? ” Ponderment brushed over features, despite knowing the answer that was to spill from lips, “ S-Sure, I can come –– Um, I … just n-need to change. ” Isaac retreated into his home, leaving door open for the other to follow, “ One min–– minute. ”

there's a bad habit that follows jaehyuk no matter where he goes, and part of it happened to be the fact he seemed to be a creature of the night. finding solace in the shadows that the moonlight creates, the sky almost as pitch black as the pavement beneath his feet. that's half the reason he's headed towards isaac's apartment as late as he is, trying to be as quiet as possible in the hallways so he doesn't disturb his neighbors. the other reason he had picked isaac as the person he wanted to accompany him was because the other intrigued him. he wasn't sure why, but isaac seemed to be some breath of fresh air. something new, something different. fragile, even. but he doesn't want to describe anyone as that, doesn't want to assume something he isn't sure is even the truth. however, the interactions he'd had with the other lead him to believe the other is like porcelain, fragile in the most beautiful and elegant ways possible. "hi babe." he grins, shoving his hands into the pockets of his jeans once more as his body leans to the side to rest against the door frame. "yeah, i want you to come with me.. you were the first person i thought of. it's beautiful out there tonight, wanted you to be able to enjoy it with me." jae replies, a slight rise and fall of his shoulders following the words that drip from his lips. "take your time, issy. there’s no rush.." the male continues, taking a step into the other's apartment, gently closing the door behind him. "we've got all night."

itoshiis‌:

“you falling down isn’t a cool trick,” takeshi brushes off. “i just want to make sure you don’t cut it with jagged edges and do it in one cut, to not hurt the flowers…” takeshi blushes a bit, he is always self conscious when he talks to others about how flowers can feel too. he turns abruptly towards the flowers in his hands, “i like to think it did.” takeshi put the bundle of flowers down on the table and stacks the now empty boxes together. since he knows it will be a slow day anyway he decides it wouldn’t hurt to sit here and help with the task. he jumps on the table and sits cross legged. he grabs another pair of scissors and taking each flower and cutting the ends and then wordlessly passing them to jae hoping he takes the hint and puts them in the water. “it is vital because someone can come and buy them any day and these are all my best sellers, so…” takeshi says a bit defensive, “how long did that kiss pay for? you’re assuming i’ll need you for very long.” takeshi looks up and sees the smirk on jae’s face and just knows jae will fight until the end for this. whatever its free food, not that takeshi needs free anything but, “i don’t finish work for another few hours, are you going to stay here and wait or pick me up later?”

"considering falling down is not the 'trick' i was talking about." he quips, brow raised. "not hurt the flowers. got it." the male nods, closing his knife before shoving it back into his back pocket, picking up the scissors. "you really like this job, don't you?" jae asks, his tone quiet as he does so. perhaps he needed to pick up a 'side job' that he loved just as much as the other loved being around flowers. "your shop looks like it did help, maybe more than you even intended it to." he continues, a small smile barely tugging the corners of his lips upwards as he glances over at takeshi. of course once the other starts handing over flowers that he'd cut, jae takes them and places them in the water where they belong. "i was teasing you. figured they had to be good sellers once you told me they weren't for the wedding." the dark haired male replies, tone still as gentle as it had been not too long ago. "i'd say it paid me for maybe ten minutes of overtime, and we're already pushing that time frame." he chuckles, freehand carding through his hair before he goes back to the flowers he was working on before. "up to you, i suppose. i can do the shit i need to do at like midnight tonight so i'm free."

huntors‌:

“hunter is fine only certain people call me my first name,” he loves being called wei but not by people he first met. “you know what why not? i have nothing to lose but i’m pretty busy so that won’t be happening for a while.” hunter turns his head to the side, “hmm cockiness isn’t as sexy as confidence i think. and i want sushi!”

"ah, understandable. you'll have to tell me what it is eventually, you've got me curious." he replies with a slight nod of his head. "no big deal, it's not like the people i know would want a specific time frame of when we could use their places, so just let me know whenever you're free." jaehyuk shrugs, a slight grin pulling on his lips. "maybe my cockiness comes from my confidence?" he teases lightly. "sushi it is. there's a real good place just a few blocks from here."

jaehyuk has always been the outgoing type, someone who'd put himself out there and he wasn't shy about it. that's perhaps what drew him towards isaac in the first place.. the other seemed to be a complete opposite of himself and well, jae being the person he was, he wanted to spend time with the other. 'rub off' on him if that was even possible for him to do. that's why he's showing up at the other's door around twenty minutes after midnight, black hoodie, black jeans and black shoes adorning his body as he knocks at issy's door. he hopes the other isn't sleeping, because even though he did want to spend time with the other, he didn't want to interrupt issy's sleeping schedule. "hi issy." he grins, leaning against the door frame. "so, i was thinking..." the male continues, slender fingers reaching out to gently cup the other's chin. "it's beautiful outside tonight, barely any clouds.. perfect weather to go on a walk and then maybe to that diner that's open twenty-four-seven?" jae explains, brow raising lightly. "and well, i don't want to go alone. so i figured i'd come to the one person that can actually compete with how pretty it is outside, and that just so happens to be you." there's a tiny smirk that pulls on the edges of his lips. "what do you say, babe? wanna come for a walk with me?" // @kalcpsiia​

he was known for just showing up at sooyoung's door without even so much as a text telling her he was on his way. today was no different, clad in all black with his usual silver accessories as he strides towards the other's apartment. he's asked her to go on drives before, more than once. but tonight it was a little different, there was something else going on that he wasn't going to really be up-front about with her. not until they were almost there, that is. he knocks, once, twice, three times and then takes a step back, leaning his weight onto one leg, hands shoved in the pockets of his ripped jeans as he waits for the door to open. "surprise, it's your favorite nuisance showing up unannounced once more!" he smirks, posing in a dramatic position before a chuckle falls past his lips. "hope you're not busy, because if you are, i'm gonna need you to cancel whatever plans you had and come with me instead." there's a faux-pout on his features as he speaks, jutting his bottom lip out on purpose before placing both palms on the surface of the doorway, leaning towards sooyoung. "i wanna go on a drive and i want you to come with me." the male starts, brow raising up at the other. "i'll literally do whatever you want after this but just — please??"

itoshiis‌:

“you’ll have to do something more impressive to get me to not be bored,” takeshi says nonchalantly. it was rare that takeshi wasn’t generally bored, he honestly was a bit jaded but he had always been like that. “use the scissors like i showed you. and no i ran out of a few things, i special order for weddings,” takeshi looks at the bundle of white roses he was holding lovingly. since he was young he has always been infatuated with flowers and just being around them makes him content. its the one thing he will never get bored of. “when i was younger, i used to talk to flowers and kiss them, i thought it helped them grow,” he laughs to himself before kissing the ones he has in his arms. he delicately touches the petals checking if the flowers he is holding are good. “mmm i guess you’re right,” takeshi looks at jae barely missing the tension is his jaw, “i did pay and since you say you’re free it couldn’t hurt to keep you here. and why would i go to dinner with you? i already gave you your payment.”

"would me dropping to my knees right here, right now be enough to do the trick or do i need to think more outside of the box?" he asks with the same kind of nonchalance. he isn't being completely serious, though he is curious. he can't lie about that. "why? what's the difference between a blade and scissors?" jae asks, glancing back at takeshi for a moment. "so you're saying that what i'm doing isn't vital for right now, but you're having me do it anyways?" he teases with a slight shrug of his shoulders. he's quite for a bit after that, turning around to lean against the counter as he continues to work through the flowers, listening to the other talk. "and here i thought you couldn't get any cuter. guess i was wrong." jaehyuk mumbles out, a small but semi-fond grin pulling on the edges of his lips. "did it help them?" he asks, genuinely curious as he places the few flowers he was done with down into the water. "better to have it done now than wait for whoever you were talking about." he continues, grin turning into a slight smirk. "you paid me for some overtime, not all of it. joining me for food would pay the rest of my time off. plus, you'd get food out of it. can't really say no to that can you?"

huntors‌:

“jae okay got it!” hunter commits that name to memory although, he isn’t sure if he will cross paths with jae again, “you know, if my roommate finds out i did something like that again she’d smack me so…i’ll think about it.” that one time he got kicked out for pole dancing in a club he wasn’t supposed to even be in and having athena give him the mom look when she picked him up…was enough for him to think again about pole dancing somewhere suspicious. “yeah a little,” hunter laughs.

"hunter, right? unless you want me to call you something else." he grins, brow raising ever-so-slightly at the other's comment. "she doesn't really have to know, does she? i've got a few places i could talk to. get the place on an off night when no one's even there if you do want to. just let me know." jae continues, running a hand through his hair gently before shoving both hands into the pockets of his jeans. "is there anything wrong with being a little bit cocky?" he asks, looking over at hunter with a chuckle. "what kinda food you in the mood for?"

what is your favorite season?

i absolutely love fall. the colors changing, being able to wear sweaters and hoodies. bonfires and s’mores. fuck pumpkin spice bullshit, though. peppermint is where it’s at.

how has 2019 been going for you so far?

far better than the start of 2018, honestly. can’t complain. i’m healthy, haven’t been arrested for anything, get to do whatever i want to do. life’s good.
