Prophet Muhammad SAW (pbuh) advised Muslims to marry. It was narrated from Aishah ra that:
the Messenger of Allah said: “Marriage is part of my sunnah, and whoever does not follow my sunnah has nothing to do with me.”
He also said, “When a man has married, he has completed one half of his religion.”

My new year start with a joyful ceremony for two of my friends who recently get married (Nadia and Ainsyawati).
Congratulation to Nadia. It is so sad that I can't make it to witness your big day and don't have picture together on your wedding, but I hope you know that I am truly happy for you. I wish you a happy marriage and may Allah bless your marriage with happiness and goodness Dunya and Akhirah. Allahumma aamiin. Congrats again my dearest, Nadia.

A letter of Goodbye.
To the most challenging year 2020,
You have been such a tough year for me, but I can say that I learned and realized many things throughout the time. One of the most important things I have learned is to cherish the time I spend with others especially friends and family, as well as the amount of time I have with them, because once it's gone you can never have it back. Only the memories will remain. I realized now that I should cherish every moment I had with them to the fullest because looking back, those time I spend with them are the times I cherish the most.
I also learned that things not always going the way I wanted it to be or plan and I have to be able to accept it with my whole heart, eventhough it hurts. I always remind myself that The Almighty know best, He know every pain and tears that I hide from everyone. I learned to appreciate the people around me, especially myself. I still learning to cherish every moment and see everything on the bright side without being hard on myself. I am now trying to cherish my parents, family and friends who always love and support me more than before.
I am grateful. I am thankful for every bad and good things happen to me. I am beyond grateful thoroughout this whole situations, it lead me to get closer to my Creator. Letting me reflect on all of my sin, mistakes and the time that I take Him for granted, but He there for me, always.
I'm sorry, 2020, although there are parts that I am grateful for, the largest part of me will not and will never ever miss you. I will not miss the lowest point of my life, where I had to sacrifice my job, where I lost the one who once the love of my life but now someone's else. I will not miss the pain that you caused to people in any form. I will not miss the darkness and the pain you bring, 2020. Ever. It's time for you to end and I wish I can live beyond all of this. I pray to Allah Azzawajalla, may the new year bring new hope and goodness for everyone.
