An Ode to Adamus | Canadian Rockies par Vicki Mar Via Flickr : The day before this shot was taken, we stood for 3 hours in the cold waiting to photograph a train passing through Murant's Curve. During this time, we met a kind photographer who pointed out this vantage point right below us as the spot where one of the great landscape photographers Marc Adamus captured an amazing shot of the moonset. As luck would have it, the moonset the next day would be perfectly angled. Although the 3 hours was unfruitful in terms of images, we're forever grateful to have met this kind photographer, and to Adamus for discovering this spot with the perfect moonset angle. In the comments, you can see the picture I took later that day from Morant's Curve right above this spot. The train finally passed through.

Infinity par Palace Gnome Via Flickr : Here is an image from a spot that has not been shot to death literally 5000 times, actually its quite easy to access yet nobody is ever here which is something I enjoy!..Getting ready for my next few trips down south to Oregon and also back up north to the Rockies, I decided to take a quick few hour hike into the upper twin falls in this local spot away from most of the typical park hikers. With all the snow melt lately these falls were roaring from the last time I was here. One thing I enjoy the most when out in nature is getting away from the sounds of other human beings, Being away from it all only surrounded by the sounds that the natural world presents us with. via 500px ift.tt/1MhjITl
