-listening to old songs and being able to remember the lyrics
-late night heart-to-hearts
-smiles from a stranger
-embraces that last a little bit longer than usual
-when the sun filters through your windows on a nice day
-when the wind blows against your skin
-small gestures of kindness
-sunset/sunrise
-when the rain patters against your window
-the moment the rain stops and a rainbow appears
-receiving a hand written letter
-flowers you didnt expect
-the feeling of sand between your toes
-the way the ocean sounds
- when plans you were dreading get cancelled.
- looking through old journals from when you were young
-when your favorite song comes on
- that quick squeeze from the other person at the end of a hug.
-when you’ve finished a really good book and you just put it down on your lap and stare into space for a couple minutes because you need to collect yourself and return to reality.
-surprises. good surprises
-being awake when everyone else is asleep
-genuinely candid laughing photos
- comfortable silence
- those rare, perfectly timed naps that leave you feeling refreshed and not groggy
-waking up before your alarm goes off
-being in a great mood for no reason at all
-bubble baths
-being cuddled in bed when it’s raining outside
-when someone plays with your hair
-when your pet greets you when you come home
-being told you made someone’s day
-using brand new pens/supplies
-holding hands
-losing track of time because of how much fun you’re having
-overcoming a fear
-when someone tells you that you smell good
-when someone compliments your outfit
-when you laugh so hard you start crying and your stomach starts to hurt
-the feeling of genuine happiness
-when your hair looks good when you wake up
-watching dogs stick their heads out of car windows
so basically, I wanted to write the stuff in my head down cause I was told it could help with processing and I could use a freakin hobby.
I started working 2 weeks ago as a waitress at (lets give it a fake name for privacy or whatever) Sahara Bar and its been pretty ok, I just hope Ive made a good impression with my coworkers. It’s my first time as a waitress and they hired me without experience, which was cool since I was worried I wouldn’t get picked for that same reason.
Sahara bar is pretty far from my apartment, and since I don’t want to waste money on the tram I bike 6km there. I know that exercice is important and crap but 6km going and coming back is seems a liiiiiiittle too much some days. Although it is a nice time to spend listening to music.

if this seems really out of order or doesn’t make sense its cause Im just writing what comes to mind.
right now Im just listening to hozier cherry wine live with steven colbert in the background. Why? I like to keep my mind busy while im doing something, I get very distracted and a few months ago I realized having many things on at once keeps me concentrated even though I just need to get one thing done. So it’s extreme multitasking, and it fries your brain.
plus saying Im listening to hozier cherry wine live with steven colbert in the background makes me feel like Im stereotypical trash. But whatever I like it why fucking not do it.
I also happen to be eating strawberry yogurt with strawberry jam and nutella in it. Tasty? yeah kinda. Unhealthy? yeah kinda.
Is anyone actually interested in reading this? I just imagine it brings comfort to others knowing that other people maybe feel the same or have the same happen to them.
