I’ve seen Scourge drawn maniacally and like the stone cold cat he is, but I honestly think we don’t draw scourge as viscerally horrifying enough as we should tbh.

Cause like, think from the clans perspective -

This cat came from out of nowhere, brought forth by Tigerstar like the Dark tabby summoned him out from some dark beyond, he is void dark but for one white paw with eyes an unsettling shade of ice blue and he wears your greatest monsters’ claws and teeth upon his form, melded to him like they are his own and then you watch as he - alone by himself! - kills your greatest enemy, gifted with nine lives, in. One. Stroke.

And then he tells you with his legion of demons behind him, in a voice cold and unemotional - that he will be back and he will take your forest for his own.

You basically just met a demon, the nightmares of kit tales, the dragon of every story with the claws and teeth to match - and you just watched him end what you thought was the devil himself.

Idk I just don’t think we lean into the horror of bloodclan and scourge as much as we could.

Tigerstar AU where Tigerstar is spotted in the streets while he's going to recrute bloodclan cats by a millenial cat lady with a tiktok account and ends up to be a domestic cat

just imagine her twoleg making tiktoks about how she found a beautiful main coon cat in the street covered in scars and how it's an hard journey for her since he's agressive & don't trusts humans

I just have that picture in my head of tigerstar on the knees of his twoleg getting pet on the head, grumpy face, thinking "mm... not so bad I guess..."

Warrior cats analog horror series but it’s Human POV and it begins with investigations led on a weird spate of deaths/disappearances of dogs but weirdly every body they find of the canines seem to be missing their teeth and claws…

can i just say i love what you've done with scourge???? if i were to do my own rewrite au i couldnt not take inspiration from what you've done with him LOL i think firestar sparing him and ripping off his collar instead is so poignant and helps further the intention of tbp much better than firestar just killing him. like i think even if u were to keep his rise of scourge backstory (bc iirc you've gutted it which is a perfectly fine decision) its a very tender way to end his arc you know? like he realizes that not all cats only care about themselves and there are some who value mercy. anyway. just wanted to let u know i love him and cherish him and really love how you've written his arc thus far.

Every time I reread TPB, Darkest Hour is a huge disappointment. All series long, we see how isolation causes problems for the Clans, that the code itself is flawed and deserves to be challenged, and that Tigerstar's biggest threat is how he can turn a society cruel.

Darkest Hour is the book that pivots on Firestar being a radical change to clan culture, decides that StarClan doesn't actually control anything, and that the final villain is an outsider, like Firestar...

Only this time, Firestar is fighting for the Clans to not change. The status quo is good, actually, Tigerstar didn't deserve to be murdered so horribly even though he killed tons of innocent people and it was self-defense, and after beating BloodClan for their right to exist, the forest four go right back to the isolationism that plagues the series to this day.

So I care very deeply about the Dramatic Necklace Removal change, I think it's one of my most important ones. The code's protection is for ALL cats, honor does not stop at the border, and Fire Alone can save the Clans because Firestar is symbolic of radical change.

Getting to have Scourge as part of ThunderClan is just extra sauce, really. I'm glad Iceheart's so loved lmao, I love him a lot too. Calm gay uncle who you keep forgetting was a mob boss.

It’s been… nearly a year?? I think? Since I last made pages for this concept lol.

I almost didn’t want to post these since they seem like a bit of a downgrade in quality but I know if I don’t get these out now it’s just not going to happen rip.

Speeding through lives 2+3 (Bluestar gets a pretty brief feature, but I figure she’s a bit too frosty for a full chat and these pages already feel repetitive) to move onto Brindledface! Bluestar gave a life for regret if it wasn’t obvious.

Decided to add to this Tigerstar AU comic I started in February, in which Tigerstar received his nine lives from the nine cats he killed/caused the deaths of.

So far the two characters featured include Gorsepaw and Stonefur with lives of mercy and loyalty.

Scourge and Tigerstar brothers AU!

Inspired by @sootslash’s alt parent AUs, thought this would be a neat idea. Born as Nightkit, Scourge left the clans as a sickly kit with his father Pinestar promising to seek medical help from humans. He later returns after Pinestar’s death seeking his remaining family but instead Tigerpaw, unrecognising of the cat he knew as a sister, drives him away instead. They wouldn’t meet again until many moons later, after each has become leaders of their own clans…

au doodles! basic premise is that firestar and tigerstar actually do get to fight and firestar loses miserably to tigerstar, escaping with sandstorm and graystripe to the twolegplace where princess tells them about a certain alleycat leader who might be able to help them. During his time there, Firestar must heal physically and emotionally and realize he needs to figure out what he really wants (and Scourge provides some help with that).

back in tigerclan, longtail and cinderpelt work together as spies and convince their clanmates to stand up to themselves for when firestar returns. cloudtail is chased off for being a kittypet and brightheart goes with them, the two narrowly avoiding execution to try and find their former leader and his friends.
