The arachnid monster and the creature of ink clinked their cups full of tea together; The latter being hesitant with the hospitality. Both were in a new world, and neither of them even knew each other well… it didn’t help that he was not used to such generosity.
“I don’t understand… you don’t know me. I don’t know you… yet you treat me to free sustenance, spider.”
A shocked expression. A sip. Then a chuckle.
“Oh, I wasn’t going to let you go off without paying. But considering that we only have each other for now, may as well let you off for once!”
The Ink Demon took a sip of his tea.
Likewise… but like the spider said, they only have each other for now in this new world. And she did help him…

(im just asking about how the amalgaverse thrives and all... Mostly so any future asks i send work with the way you designed it to)
I'm just curious but uh... Do the trees help circulate oxygen, since it's a crater in space? And how exactly do they get water, and uh... Stabilize the ecosystem?
Im just asking so i dont make any wrong assumptions again.. And most likely cause mayhem... And then it's probably harder on you to try and answer the ask, even though it doesn't follow the world rules
Please, id love to not make any more assumptions, cause people do that all the time... Some even say im drawing the same thing!
(HUMANOID PLANTS AND HUMANIZED ELEMENTS AREN'T THE SAME THING, HATERS!!)... Sorry, it's just terrible how society seems to have no place for independent artists... People even tell me to stop giving a character so much personality, to the point they're life-like!
And sorry that i added that too (i just have an odd feeling you'd understand)
Okay sorry that I got to this a while after, but I just had to put my thoughts together-
First off I could have answered this on the side blog just fine.
Secondly (and answering the actual question) crater environments (and ESPECIALLY the Amalgamation Crater) are self sustaining and don’t require traditional means of sustenance.
Yeah, the trees aren’t actual trees. There are many reasons that they aren’t needed, but Beph had a fondness to forest environments when first decorating the Crater to be more visually appealing.
The rivers are… sort of water. They’re linked to those cracks you saw that sprout from the Crater
and also, something I’ve written a bit back.
