Lunette’s handwriting used to be super duper messy and bare bones. Once she started getting comfortable with her creative side, she spent hours messing around with her penmenship, as well as almost every other aspect of her life. When she left the facility, outside of the first few months, she’s spent most of her time in Kalos and Galar, so she rarely writes in Japanese, even though that was her first writing system she learned.

((Introverted Cat Person Although her love of cat pokemon, especially shinx was an accident. Her first run attempt was a nuzlocke where she could only catch blue pokemon, and could have multiple of the same kind. So she wound up with 2 zubats and like 4 or 5 shinx))

       She had a point. If they traveled together then, at the very least, Hinata would have someone to help her… But it would trouble Lunette. And Lunette had done nothing wrong. There was no reason for the world to torment her too.

      “… Yeah. I’d like to try that. Thank you.” Hinata finally decided. There had been no reason for the world to torment Hinata either. Being overly considerate would only get her thrown under a new bus. “It’s for my big brother… Can I have a box for it?”

Lunette nodded and carefully set it in a to-go box. She handed it to Hinata, before poking her head into the kitchen to tell Mikale that she was headed out for a little bit.

“Would you like to go now? Or would you rather wait a little longer before leaving?” She asked when she returned. She hated being pressured to do something she was uncomfortable with, and so she wasn’t about to pressure someone else if she could help it.“I am fine either way.”

Eun was ecstatic to see Lunette again. He held up a beautiful library card for her to see. It was a shiny white material, adorned with an elegant holographic feather design, Lunette’s name, and ‘Mulberry Library’.

“Ta-da, I have a card for your interesting books,” he announced happily, swiping the card and then handing it to Lunette. He continued to speak as he scanned the books, “Just bring this card with you whenever you want to check a book out. You don’t need it if you’re just going to return books. I love working here, Mimi built it herself and it’s a safe place for me and my brother. And it is nice to be surrounded by books, so many worlds and lives that I can experience.”

After scanning the the books, he tucked them into a cute little tote bag. The bag was purple and covered in clouds and stars, “Here you go!”

“I understand....I will be sure to keep it safe then...”Lunette said. The library card was gorgeous, and Lunette focused on it as he spoke, tilting it one way and another. Could she make her dream world holographic? Would that be too much? Maybe only parts of it.

She was about to say that she was glad Eun could be safe when he mentioned why he loved books. “Exactly. Books are amazing. I seeing other points of view and adventures...Connecting with the characters...So many different things to do. And you can do them and experience them from the safety of your own room if you would like.” 

She put the card away in her wallet before accepting the tote bag. It was very cute, and was likely to be used for maybe carrying around her sketchbook and pencils later. “By the way...What kind of books do you like? I like books with a focus on friends and team work.”

“Canalave City, surrounded by New Moon and Full Moon Island.” He leans back, looking at the girl. “Why do you ask? Looking for the Library?”

His eyes slowly shift from green to red and back, something about this girl, strange for sure.

“Not...exactly...”She really wasn’t sure how much of her situation she should be describing to a stranger. Especially after his eyes change color. Sure, her’s used to change color at one point, before settling on the red they were now, but she was never really sure what to make of people outside of her family doing so. Usually there was some sort of power there, and she did not want to know.

“I wanted to visit an island. But I am certain... I can find at least some of what I’m looking for in the library there if I am not allowed to go all the way.” If she wasn’t even allowed in at all she would be disappointed, but she would wait until later. She’s put off learning anything about her Matron this long, after all.

        “Then we’ll celebrate the fact that no Shinx have been abandoned recently.” Shugo answered brightly. He knew what Lunette was trying to do: Because sorry, Daughter, but Shugo used this routine to get out of things as well. For years, he had used excuses to get out of his responsibilities. Now, his only regret was not taking the chance sooner.

           He didn’t want for Lunette to have any regrets.

        “And we’ll turn the trip into a visit. I’m sure the shelter Pokemon would appreciate some pets, right? Even the not-Shinx.” And maybe, just maybe, Lunette would grow to love a non-Shinx too. “Wouldn’t that be fun too?”

“That would be good...”Even if it didn’t sound like her attempts to get out of having a pokemon were working.

“I suppose petting Pokemon would not hurt...” She actually had to own the pokemon for them to be affected by her condition, right? She hadn’t given it much thought when coming in contact with her family’s pokemon. After all, most people in her family had nuzlocke too, so their pokemon were already doomed.

And really, if her family all have nuzlocke, and are all fine with having pokemon, and can keep them alive and everything, why couldn’t she? It’s because she’s worse. She pushed that thought down with the rest of the ones she knew were ‘bad’.  She sighed,”I will also pet the not-Shinx Pokemon...” Unless there were Shinx there, and then she would have one focus, and one focus only.

      “Oh, yes.” Hinata had been persuaded easily. Sunflowers were part of Madoka’s idol signature, so she was sure he would like them. Hinata liked them too. Her name could also be read as ‘himawari,’ or ‘sunflower.’

      “Are you sure? I’d hate to bring trouble…” She admitted quietly, gold eyes watching Lunette and the cupcake. This human seemed very calm. Hinata couldn’t get a read on her… but she also liked that. “Sometimes they attack me. You might get caught up in that too.”

“It is fine,”She assured as she iced the sunflower. “There is a phrase I have heard...Safety in numbers? I do not know if it would work, but perhaps there being two of us will discourage any attacks...And if it does not...Then we can respond accordingly...”

She brought back the cupcake to the front counter.”One red velvet cupcake with a sun flower on top...Did you want to eat it here? Or did you want to bring it with you?”

“I would like chocolate chip cookies,” Lunette’s master plan was working.

Actually, if he thinks for too long, he has a lot of sisters. This will be a lot of cookies... And he’s too broke to effectively buy every clan sister a cookie...

((Lunette loves being around people even though she afraid of them and awkward around them. She feels more comfortable alone. She does want a lot of friends. She wants as many friends as she can get, even though she doesn’t know how to make them properly. She’s nervous about meeting new people, and would rather avoid new people altogether, but she knows she needs to meet new people to make new friends.))

((She is still technically a child for a couple more months, and will point that out if asked. But she would describe most of her childhood as awful and what she imagines a nightmare would be like. Her older childhood was calm and loving. Her younger childhood is why she’s so scared of things, and struggles to express herself, but her older childhood is why she continues to try, albeit slowly and in her own way. I don’t know when she’s going to mature completely. Although she does shows moments of maturity currently. She does not want to go back to the past. Childhood isn’t really something she’s had much of, and adulthood is some vague concept that she doesn’t fully understand, and the line between the two confuses her. She accepts that she is getting older, but doesn’t understand the responsibilities and expectations of what that means.))

((Most the characters she’s interacted with RP wise love and adore her and think she’s a sweetheat, but personally if I found a quiet red eyed teen that stares blankly and speaks softly, slowly, and bluntly I would be a little unnerved. She’s a girl who tries her best, but struggles to do much, so take than as you will. Her reputation doesn’t matter, but she doesn’t like the thought of people hating her.))

((She flies on a broomstick even though she doesn’t need a broom to fly, and it takes more effort to carry around the broomstick while she levitates. She loves going into her dream world, especially when upset, or if she’s reading a story. She goes up to high places a lot. She decorates her bed with stuffed animals and blankets in a makeshift nest. She never uses contractions.))
