anyway we moved up to the new place today and even though we’re gonna have to keep making trips back to the old house we’re finally getting settled in up here. we got all the cats up here as well and they’re all petrified, of course, but for some reason One of them is completely unbothered? like she does not give a single fuck.

her name is snickers she’s twenty years old and as soon as the door to the crate got opened she immediately stopped caring. according to my parents she was yowling the entire ride up but she hasn’t made a peep since she got here. she started wandering and exploring immediately and as soon as she got tired of exploring she methodically checked every single room to find which one not only had a bed in it, but also had a human in it to help her onto the bed, so she could have a soft spot to settle in and lie down.

i had to dress my bed after she was already settled in, so i ended up just picking her up and shuffling her around to different spots on the bed while i got everything set up. and every time i did she just settled back down and got back to chilling.

i think she’s just too old to give a fuck.

i feel like the reason i’m getting so confused by tmagp is because the fears are less,,, defined? and we don’t even have confirmation that smirke’s 14 are like A Thing in this timeline right but it’s still a knee-jerk reaction to try and compartmentalize them but it’s not really working?

like it was easier for the first couple cases right the first chatter was something with the End and then the second one was DEFINITELY something about the Eye but it’s only gotten more difficult the longer it’s gone on.

i think it’s just the most recent case that’s REALLY getting me. because almost all of the case is very Desolation to me. like we heard it in jude perry's statement in tma where she talks about how HER brand of destruction was stocks and investing. so hearing this guy talk about how he did All Of That destroying his own body just for a bag felt very Desolation-coded. AND THEN THE FUCKING CREATURE THAT WAS A FUCKING BUG (ha ha app program bugs it's still the Corruption i think)

like, idfk what the hell is actually going on here. we had 5 seasons 200 episodes telling us how we could compartmentalize and organize these statements into fourteen categories with very rare instances of overlap, and then we get tmagp that almost feels like it's turning it all on its head? HELP

look i know that having a post get notes on this fucking site is basically like drinking radioactive waste but there is nothing, and i truly mean nothing, worse than having a post get popular on reddit.

when a post gets popular here it’s quiet. silent likes and reblogs. maybe something funny stashed in the tags of someone’s reblog. very rarely you might see someone adding something onto it. we’re all just liking shitposts and plastering them on our walls in our corner of this dumpster fire because we can all acknowledge that we’re all little funny goblins hoarding the things that make us exhale through our noses.

reddit? that popularity is LOUD. and the people BEING loud almost always think they’re the smartest motherfucker in the room. so many opinions. so many bad takes. all said with the confidence of a guy with seven PhDs in the subject they’re discussing. and all the while each one of them is pressing that fucking orange arrow just so it can be accessed by even more bad opinion havers.

yeah getting notes on a tumblr shitpost feels like having a little dip in a nuclear reactor pool but having a post hit the “hot” tab in a subreddit is like taking a bite out of the chernobyl elephant’s foot.

i accidentally napped and had a dream (nightmare?) where a new update for stardew valley released where everything was the same except on a random day in year 3 Evelyn would just straight up die. There was a whole cutscene that started in her house where she collapsed, and then transitioned over to the hospital where Harvey gave George and Alex the worst news of their lives. However, they got to speak to her where she said something along the lines of "Yoba will protect me, and I am sure he will let me watch over you."

Alex and George would not talk to the player for more than a few words for a full season after this event. George would spend most of his time in the bedroom, so if you had less than 2 hearts with him, you could barely ever speak to him.

And Alex... oh my god, poor Alex. If you were married to him during this event, he just stayed in bed all day. Otherwise, if single, he would just stand on the beach most of the time, staring off into the ocean. If you tried to interact with him, it would just say "Alex is grieving... Better leave him be."

There was also other NPC dialogue like mayor Lewis saying "I haven't seen the community in this state of mourning since your grandfather passed..."

there was also a glitch where you could make Evelyn live forever and there were entire guides for the "immortal Evelyn glitch" that got patched out in the next update. If you tried to perform the glitch after the patch, mr. Qi would tell you that "hey, it happens to all of us. We can't prevent it, and neither can you, no matter how hard you try."
