I apologize to everyone in advance for these somewhat disconnected thoughts of mine, but well... whatever 😅 (oh yes, I also apologize for my English, I hope whoever wants to read will be able to decode my thoughts 😅)
I don't care now that there is no longer the possibility of a third season for me their continuation will be something like this:
For a while the two will live happily in their inn, excited about what comes their way in the future because they will do it together.
But time passes and they find themselves without any clients, the days pass and they stay longer and longer crouched under the eaves looking at the clear sea, thinking back to those friends who continued the adventure on the Revenge (every now and then some news arrives but still they haven't seen them again), how much they miss them.
Until one day they hear a knock on the door; finally! Finally a customer has arrived! It is all ready? Is the room tidied up? but who cares
They open the door and find a seagull busy swirling around a little angry person.
Somehow in this world of pirates and strange events Izzy had returned (but don't worry it didn't happen like with Buffy who had to dig out from inside the coffin to get out, oh no he had been magically placed on the ground a moment before he could open the eyes, At least let's spare him this trauma).
The two couldn't believe their eyes, both were so shocked and petrified that the first to speak was the newcomer asking him to give him something to drink immediately because obviously his throat was on fire.
Coincidentally, the Revenge also docked and when they saw the little guy they crushed him in an infinite embrace, for two days they practically passed him between the arms of one and the arms of another (a little to see how long they would have succeeded and a lot as much as they was really missed him)
Once the joy of having the revived man back with them had subsided, they talked about their adventures, leaving a certain melancholy in the two who remained on the ground and when the crew decided to leave again, with izzy of course, the two, a little hesitant, asked to get on board and leave with them.
The crew couldn't wait for those words, Stede's room had remained strangely spotless, as if they knew that sooner or later its owner would return.
And they all set sail together, happy, in love towards a new magnificent adventure.
Because their way was ultimately the sea in each other's arms.
