i had a au idea for my ocs Skinner, Inkpot and Skink (left to right) were instead of growing up in separate labs and meeting later in life, the trio grew up in the same laboratory and tried to pull off multiple escape attempts. they act a bit like siblings on my main story already but their bond would be stronger in this au. lemme know what you think!!

I agree SO MUCH!!
I want the romance. I want them to be in love.
I want it to be obvious. Stated outright. Confident.
Reciprocated.
I want a Big Moment and a Big Kiss.
I want the most satisfying conclusion to their story, which is Happily Ever After. Together.
We didn’t see these characters fall in love within the few hours of a movie. It wasn’t a day or a week or a month in-universe and then all of a sudden *ta-daa* I Love You.
No, both in and out of universe, this relationship took years. It was built. From the ground up. This love was earned. It was tested and tried. It matured with age and time spent together, with work and trust and vulnerability. They persevered through the worst and saw and inspired the best in one another. Side by side, they sought to become better and better versions of themselves.
They remained loyal to one another even when separated by galaxies and the span of a decade.
That is a love story worth telling. Not just any love. Romantic love. How many romances do we have that are this good? How many relationships are this profound and developed and actually worthy of becoming something more?! Few. So few.
Sabezra is a romance worth having in modern media. It’s definitely worth having in Star Wars, which already suffers for lack of successful romances. It’s a fairy tale and an ideal, and yet it’s still something so attainable that it gives us hope in our real lives. It’s a love worth seeing to fruition because we know it’s going to last. It already has.
Ezra and Sabine have committed their lives to one another, and the best way to continue that story is to make it official. It’s unfair to them and to us to let this relationship drift in ambiguity forever.
Let them take the logical next steps. Let them build together the home and the family that they missed out on growing up. Let them have the life that they deserve, especially after all they’ve given up for everyone else.
Let them fall in love.

HOW ADORABLE!! THE ANIMATION IS SO COOL TOO! I loved the colors and everythinfnahahaaa
I heavily headcanon that Sabine suffers from insomnia and don't have a doubt in my mind that there were likely several nights she spent not wanting to sleep because of dreams/nightmares/memories of Ezra disappearing, Kanan's death, the loss of her family, her home on Knownst and Mandalor, etc. 🥲 (Filoni, sir, please, I beg you, give my girl a break and some therapy 🥺).
So, I made this as a thought-idea of Ezra and Sabine sharing his bed in his Noti-home after being reunited and spent time talking and sharing what they have been up to. Eventually, Ezra sleeps, but Sabine likely takes some time— with a multitude of different things going through her mind,,,
However, most prominent is just the fear that if she sleeps, Ezra won't be there when she wakes and everything that has happened has just a cruel dream :(
BUT! The best man's will not allow that >:( He also holds her and does a Keldebe kiss in reassurance ;;w;; ah they give me such,,,, Peeta/Katniss vibes and it hurts even more feeling this parallel I have created;;0;;

Light poured in from a small window, illuminating Sabine as she lay in bed barely covered by blankets, her legs tangled with Ezra’s and her head on his chest. She couldn’t help but smile as she registered his heartbeat and the small rise and fall of his chest with every breath. She gingerly moved a strand of hair out of his face and he stirred in response. He opened his big blue eyes and stared at her.
“Hi” he said, sleepily.
“Good morning sleepy head” Sabine said, planting a kiss on his lips. Ezra embraced the kiss and wrapped his arms around her.
Their lips parted and Ezra slowly ran his hands down Sabine’s backside. “I had fun last night” he said.
“Me too” Sabine replied, her body on full alert from his repeated touch.
I love that you took the time to write this 🙌🏻 I wanted to make a small comic for this but didn’t manage to do so :/
I couldn’t leave this unanswered so have this little drawing!
