union circle shenanigans (with my IRL friend bc i ain't payin' for nintendo online)
things that happened during her visit (she came to my house)
she played persona for like an hour and told me about her crush on the red haired girl with the sword (i can't remember her name)
i told her about how arven is practically my husband (I'M A MINOR I CAN STILL SELFSHIP) and she was very confused about my taste in men
I SHOWED HER A PICTURE I TOOK OF HIM IN THE CLUBROOM WITH THE PIKACHU FILTER AND SHE WASN'T EVEN A LITTLE CONVINCED
she hadn't played the game in a while so she didn't remember the mabosstiff plotline (she had already done 2 titans) and i was careful not to spoil it
i evolved a bunch of finizen with marks (one of them has the zero energy mark which is hilarious)
she did iono's gym and her shiny primarina (1st pic) listened to her even tho it was way over level cap
she brought her shiny primarina and her shiny rabboot (4th pic), both of which were given to her by her older sister. it gave me flashbacks to The Shiny Froakie Incident (in which i spent a month shiny hunting froakies with masuda method for my little brother's birthday) and i was reminded of my Older Sibling Responsibilities in spoiling my brother
she got her ass kicked by grusha
i told her she could try doing fairy squad but i wasn't aware they didn't scale so ortega's servant ended up being like 20 over level cap (she got her ass kicked again)
we found out we could walk between/around other players' wild battles and do dumb shit
when we got bored and stopped playing i sent her an arven edit i had saved and she looked up at me like "really?"
i gave her teletelo's piplup print set as a VERY LATE christmas present since piplup was her first starter and IT CAME WITH STICKERS AND CUTE LITTLE DOODLES ON THE BOX AND WE EXPLODED FROM CUTENESS

Surprised my previous post about Captain got any notes (I've always been under the impression people hated ocs bc I got harassed once for shipping a pony oc with a canon character so I'm usually hesitant to post any now)
um but anyway I've been writing in my notes app little story ideas for Cap's interactions with other characters and developing his story--the way the Terapagos DLC stuff goes in his case is... very different let's just leave it at that. This particular situation happens some time after the epilogue.
I'm also really liking Constantine serving as the backseat driver to most of Captain's antics. When you're an incredibly intelligent bingus cat with psychic powers and your trainer is kind of a dumbass, you basically have your own walking comedy routine.
fun fact about in-game Constantine, I had to recently redo his stat spread because I looked at it and the lack of special stat investment was abysmal. He was a story playthrough mon though so... also his IVs are awful lol

Kieran does not “deserve” to get Ogerpon. Like… you realize he didn’t love Ogerpon right? Because he didn’t actually know anything about her? He loved the Ogre? That was “so cool and didn’t care what anyone thought about it!”? The Ogre that ended up being nothing like the sweet, scared, lonely, very much wanting to be liked creature we actually met? He didn’t love Ogerpon, and the whole point is that even if he did you don’t get to Deserve a living thing with thoughts and feelings and wants of its own. He didn’t love Ogerpon because Ogerpon wasn’t like the Ogre, but she IS like Kieran, and Kieran didn’t even like himself. He wanted to be like the Ogre, and wanted her to be too.

#i remember when i was like 10 my mom would take us to the library and i would go straight to the kids section#bc i would read the minecraft books#like diary of a minecraft villager#i am also very happy that they still have a dvd cart bc everybody thinks they're out of style and that gen z doesnt use them#but we do#and i hope they never get rid of the dvd cart#thats the only way i can watch pokemon movies now that the pokemon tv app is gone#THEY DIDNT HAVE ANY POKEMON MOVIES LAST TIME I WAS THERE#I DID THE LEANING-DOWN-SQUAT-SO-I-CAN-READ-THE-SPINES WALK AROUND IT LIKE 10 TIMES#they had brave#which is one of the only disney pixar movies i havent seen#but i was like#i can just use disney plus#also the dvd player isnt even connected to the tv rn#so i'd have to carry it upstairs and plug it in#which wouldnt be a problem except it's like#in the little shelf thing under the tv in the living room#which is where my great grandma sits and watches the tv all day#so i'd have to wait until she went to bed#and then do it if i even remember that i was gonna do it#my pc doesn't even have a dvd tray i dont think#it makes me sad#why
