I never understood people who were obsessed with their own ocs since this never happened to me UNTIL I MADE THIS GOOBER
I don't know what it is about them, but I just CAN'T STOP DRAWING THEM. I have a whole folder of just art of him, I'm even making a whole google doc of the fan race I made up JUST FOR HIM.
Some more info about it under the cut for anyone who wants to know.
So this is Andromeda. They go by He/They/It and he's a Celestial. Celestials are a fictional race I made up and the whole gist is that they're a personification of a Celestial object (in his case the Andromeda Galaxy). Celestials are shape-shifters and they change their appearance to fit in with the organisms around them. He looks like an axolotl because they were the first thing he saw when he came to earth.
Now his backstory. Since the Andromeda and Milky Way galaxies are to collide in a couple billion years, him and Milky Way decide to explore each other's galaxies before they both merge. Andromeda discovers Earth after a few years of traveling from planet to planet and decides to settle down there for a while. They find a man who studies space and gets adopted by befriends him. Andromeda eventually outlives him and inherits the farm he lived on since Andromeda was the closest thing the man had to family. He lives there ever since.

Nothing can escape the TransgenderTM
Being a trans artist + writer means that I love to headcanon characters as trans for no apparent reason just because I want to.
I see a ship I love and go "hmmm, would be better if one was trans(or both gotta love t4t)" and boom! The second I look back down at my paper I have written an entire au that includes my trans headcanon.
Sometimes it's because I want to feel represented through the characters I love and enjoy and other times it's just because I can(and personally I think it's better)
