⚓️ On the rocking ship, Nikki and Momo learn of the tale of the Mermaid and Pirate.
Event Format: Event Stages + Answer Question, gain currency. Event is tiered, with Pirate first and Mermaid second.
Suits: Windy Sea Voyage / Phantom Sea Pearl
Suit Detail: Voyage comes with 2 dress poses (dst is Hacker’s Secret), new makeups, ‘ghost’ background item, and 3 movables. She will have a ‘tilt’ where she moves on the screen if you use the pose. She moves out of the way so you can attach the ghost.
Suit Detail II: Pearl will have a dress pose, new makeup, mermaid tail (!!!), new ears, and 6 movables. She will also have a tilt so half of her is not off screen.

Apparently Fragrant Afternoon’s chair and cage doesn’t have ‘layer clipping’ where the front part of the cage is able to layer on top of the chair. The chair is only able to go completely in front of the cage or completely in the back.
I hate it because it works for NIKKI and every other background item (except for some reason only one can be clipped this way. I tried the two painting items and both can NOT be behind that one ornate cage part. Just one. If you try to adjust the layering one of them will just go in front of the cage item. It’s such a small thing but I’m sooo frustrated lmao

Calling it now. Next anniversary we get a three day long maintanance. We get 150 diamonds as compensation from Momo once we log in but there is nothing there. Oh, you think you’re getting suits for crafting? Diamond postcards? Welfare suit not being cut out of the debut hell event? Sorry, suckers. I love how yesterday’s maintenance took *so long* for only a hell event and a handful of the most useless features I’ve ever seen. [LN] Anniversary Update and News
Patch notes after our maintenance. There will be tons of new things coming for anniversary (spoiler: no new Starry Corridor format)
Tips for Guiding Star: Explains the format of the event!
Battle pass: Basically, there is a free and paid tier for rewards. As you pull in the event, you’ll get the avatar frame, background, profile picture, etc at certain tiers. Spend $2.99 USD to unlock a special tier, where you get pieces of the suit as you pull. So it’s recharge but you also have to spend diamonds to get it.
Free background: The ‘Desert Mirage’ background will be given for free after reading through the event story.
New Wish Court: ‘Cozy Inn’ will debut after the update. Draw in the court to receive furniture; complete the pavilion set to get a chibi.
(okay this is where they would announce diamond postcards but they haven’t?? Hope there is another post coming with anniversary stuff because this is the biggest nothing burger I’ve ever eaten)
