               PRACTICED HANDS FINISHED bandaging the gouge in his side, just like she’d do for anyone else who’d shown up at her window. “You know,” she said, wiping the area outside of the bandage with a little bit of alcohol for the very small scrapes around the larger wound. “Most of the people who show up around here do it with a mask.
