Dear tumblr void,
Hubs and I will be off on an adventure to find a new state to call home.
And I could not be more excited.
That’s all. Goodnight.

Took a break from Instagram for a month and I already hate being back.
It’s amazing how angry the world makes me.
The lack of common sense. The lack of true justice. The lack of caring for things that really matter. How upside everything is.
It’s infuriating, and it’s not Kingdom minded, and all I want to scream from the top of my lungs is that all of this is bullshit and not Jesus minded and we need to get our shit together or the world will. burn. down.
This is not a republican issue. Republicans are corrupt, actionsless and spineless.
This is not a democratic issue. Democrats are corrupt, violent and hypocritical.
We are disgraceful and we need Jesus more than ever.
Aside from the obvious reasons, you wanna know why?
Because Jesus has set standards for living that are good, true and they make wicked, worthless living habits uncomfortable to live with.
You know what the world lives like (in case you’re living under a rock)? Everything is acceptable. Everything should be embraced. Everything should be approved by all.
That’s. Not. Jesus.
Wake. Up.
“Ali, Jesus dined with tax collectors and prostitutes. Lighten up. Jesus accepts all.”
K, bucko. That’s flawed theology.
Jesus accepted PEOPLE. He didn’t accept their behavior. Take the woman at the well.
Jesus accepted her as a soul... a person... a person who desperately needed to be loved.
She was the victim of a racially charged world, and she was a woman in a time when woman were second class citizens. On top of all that, she knew the biblical teachings of that time, and chose to live opposed to them. Remember, she had had 5 husbands, and wasn’t even living with her current husband, but with her boyfriend. She was cast out of the inner circles of her racially marginalized society because she was a whore. Plain and simple.
She needed love.
And Jesus met her, and gave her what she truly needed: an experience with Him.
And what happened? She. Changed. She turned away from her wrong choices and followed Jesus and HIS STANDARDS.
Free living at every whim and want and carnal desire is how societies are destroyed.
Get your face in the word of God and know your Father. I have a gut feeling that those of us who are Jesus followers will answer for our lack of knowledge when we come face to face with the Lord someday.

Our Father, King of Heaven, Maker of the stars, Creator of my heart,
Holy is Your name.
Let Your Kingdom come, Your glory be realized, and Your desires be done
On earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us all that we need today, just for today, because today is all You promise us
And forgive us of our mistakes – of the ones we are all too aware of, and of those You haven’t convicted us of yet – as we choose to be like You and forgive those who have hurt us.
Lead us away from temptation, and rescue us from wickedness.
For the Kingdom and all of the power and all of the glory is Yours, always and forever.
Amen.

I just would really love to sweep us away to a piece of land with a little home where we can grow our own food, milk our own cows, smell our own flowers and be content with just being.
I would love to lead our little ones into a community that builds kingdom minded hearts and believes that Jesus is so wildly in love with us that He is willing to hold up standards and also break the rules of how the Church believes He is supposed to work.
I would love to write about my story. I can’t tell you how big of a weight of power feels held captive in my chest. I’ve seen God work miracles in my life over and over and over again, and I have a gut feeling that more people need to know about it than just my inner circle.
I would love to be part of revival, of breakthrough and of God’s mighty movements. The FOMO on the work of Jesus is REAL for me.
I would just really love to lead people into worship again, and to pray with teenagers that know their in need of a Savior and an Anchor.
And I would just really really love to feel the wind kiss my cheeks on my front porch while my husband holds my hand as we watch our kids run wild in our front yard.
Craving goodness so much right now it aches.
