I think it would be really funny if the team gets so sick of Keith and Lance's constant bickering that Allura implements a rule where if they want to fight with each other then they have to leave and go do it in a specific room in the castle that was designated for it so no one else has to listen to them
Lance: I would have had that shot if Keith hadn't tripped me
Keith: I didn't trip you, you backed up into me because you werent paying attention -
Pidge: oooo they're gonna get sent to the tantrum closet if they're not carefullll
Hunk: pidge you have GOT to stop calling it that before it catches on. Please
Shiro: boys, reign it in, we need to run this exercise one more time before we can call it a day
Keith: yeah lance, reign it in
Lance: oh shut the f-
Allura: that's it! Go to the tantrum closet

Keith: *rolls his eyes and runs to catch up with lance, already continuing the argument*

Keith: *playfully shoves lance away as they exit together*

Lance doesn't know Keith can speak Spanish. Keith grew up in a textex environment, he grew up on Selena, he know all the words to Amor Prohibido.
Keith understands all the bitchy comments Lance says about him under his breath and one day, out of nowhere, on the castleship, Keith snaps and calls him a hijo de puta.
Lance is at first utterly shocked but then outraged and they get into a needlessly big fight. Later that night Lance is like "hey.. so are you like.. fluent-fluent?" And Keith is like "I can understand better than I can speak, but I'm pretty decent " Lance gets very excited and starts casually talking to just Keith in Spanish. He whispers gossip to him and makes sparky remarks and Keith has to keep a straight face. Lance feels a little less homesick and Keith feels a little less alone.
