Emergency Fic Commissions!
Howdy! You probably don’t know me, I never really post on here (anxiety, I’m working on it!) Due to Coronavirus, I have pretty much run out of savings. I was already unemployed before quarantine hit, and now I’m about $50 short on next month’s rent.
Writing is really one of the only skills I have available online, so if anybody could hmu, every little bit helps!
I’m willing to write one-shots (between 400-1000 words) for $5 each. Price is negotiable. I accept Cash App and Paypal. My specialty so far for fics is character study and soft romance, but I’m willing to try pretty much anything.

Everyone going shopping on Black Friday, be aware of three things:
The retail workers are working 12 hours shifts. We are threatened with losing our jobs if we don’t show up unless we’re dying in the hospital. I had an assistant manager show up with fucking strep because he would’ve been fired otherwise. Yes, he did infect 7 and hospitalize 2 coworkers; who knows how many members of the public he infected.
The stores have, maybe, 5 of that special cheap thing you’re after. Corporate does this on purpose, and stores are not allowed to order enough. The prices aren’t even that much lower. They lie about how expensive something is to fool you into thinking you’re getting a discount. You aren’t.
Most of the workers you will come across will be new hires for the sole purpose of being bodies for about three months before they’re fired. They actually don’t know anything because they’ve been working there for maybe two weeks, and have had no real training. I was once hired at Staples a week before Black Friday and expected to know how to deal with phones, coupons, the online ordering site, and AS400 after five 6-hour shifts. This is the kind of person you will likely be dealing with at Black Friday.
Do me and my retail family a favor and don’t shop Black Friday. Any company that needs a sale day like Black Friday to get their sales out of the red doesn’t deserve to be in business.

I met my soul mate the other day. We went on a few dates, and we hit it off pretty well. But after a while, things went sour. We shared no interests, we had different views, and we began to argue frequently.
I didn't know what to do. This was my one chance, and I was blowing it. I would never have another soul mate, after all.
A few months later, we had a nasty breakup. I sobbed for hours. My life might as well have been over. I would never have another chance at happiness again. I started to wish that I had never lived in the first place.
I dared to look down at my clock, expecting to see it stuck at 0 or maybe gone altogether. But what I saw was a new set of numbers. My eyes grew wide and my tears stopped themselves at my eyelids.
I had a second chance.
I couldn't believe my eyes. I suddenly felt I had hope. It wasn't the end. As I watched the numbers begin to tick anew, I realized that it was a new beginning. My tears dried, I stood up, and I thought:
"Maybe I can keep trying for one more day."
