Website/Downloads Update

Hello everyone! As you all know our downloads/wordpress site has been down for quite some time due to some major technical difficulties that we’ve all been working hard to fix for many months now. Unfortunately, we have decided that the website will be unable to come back online due to the issues with the server and other maintenance factors out of our control. It was a tough decision for us to make, but we hope you all understand.

Thank you so much to everyone who has been patient with us on the issues we’ve been having with our website - it really meant the world to us that you were all so supportive during this time. 

We’ll still be here making more of your fav weeb songs so don’t worry we’re not going anywhere!

I have to say, your music is awesome. It touches my heart, spinned around in my head for hours, made me think about the deeper meaning behind the lyrics. After hearing some covers of you I always feel delighted, I could jump around and sing, I'm always so satisfied. Thank you for changing my life. Do you have any alternative for downloading your songs? Everything is blocked or says the server is down. My dearest by angela (guilty crown) is a song that means the world to me and i cant get it anywhere

Do you think you could consider re-uploading your Magic Kaito English Cover?

Magic Kaito 1412 OP1 - "Kimi no Matsu no Sekai"  is still available on YT, but may be blocked in certain countries automatically by YT’s copyright algorithm. Unfortunately, there’s nothing we can do to counteract this.

To this day, it still remains as my favorite cover of all time :3 I haven’t listened to it in a while, so I decided to look up your website again. But alas, to my surprise, I can’t find it. But at the very least, I did found your tumblr (How it eluded me years ago, I’d never know). So my question is, is there any other place where I can listen to your covers? :)

Currently, we’re a little swamped with re:TYE and haven’t had chance to get round to fixing the website etc. so most of our old songs are currently unavailable until we can get that sorted again! Hello!, I'm a person who really enjoys translating anime lyrics. Although I sing I don't have the voice yet to make covers. I wanted to ask how is it that you guys do your lyrics and is there anyway that I can offer my lyrics to other people for them to use in their covers?, thank you and by the way I love your songs!

Hi there!

That’s super great that you enjoy translating lyrics cause that’s the most important thing for sure! Also, thank you so much for listening and enjoying our songs that super means a lot!I’m not sure if you’re looking for advice from a particular lyricist from our team since each of us have different stances on how we write our lyrics so I think I’ll go through mine, but if you’re after a someone else’s advice then totally message them too for their advice cause different view points are great!As a lyricist, I feel that the most important thing is that you’re having fun though also that we should pretty much get rid of the mind set that there is a “right way” to write lyrics. Please never think that what you write is wrong because I think lyrics are a personal thing and they’re specific to you so never think that you’re not doing it correctly! Write as much or as little as you’d like!

For translyrics especially, the syllable count is a super important thing to get down and feel free to experiment with that as much as you like! It’s all practice and eventually you get used to certain patterns.

Rhyming is something that Jefferz is really good at like he has super good ways of structuring his songs (I’m jealous tbh) though that is personal preference and also takes lots of practice! Though there are many different types of rhyming techniques and schematics that many people use so try lots of things and see what you like the best!

Finally, if you’re not up for singing them yourself, there are plenty of super amazing singers on YT and everywhere that you could ask to sing your lyrics! There’s no guarantee on their availability, but it is always worth a shot!

If you are asking others to sing your lyrics, I do recommend that you record a little demo of how the lyrics flow just for reference (it doesn’t have to sound good! Some of mine are literally the worst ever LOL).

If you’re not up for recording then I usually also write a little phonetic set of lyrics with steps on how the words break up and stop/start (I use little keys on my lyrics sets so singers can see the flow on the page as opposed to audibly).
