The convocation throne is done! I did screw up the base below the chair as I accidentally printed at 0% infill OTL but that's on me. I swear the model I made is fine xD
I'll probably release the model later. I'm thinking if I should print one or two of the chair to sell at my local con but I really don't even know if anyone wants this xD It's nendoroid sized

How to make your own Wol hologram
So first of all, this isn't technically a real "hologram" as it's actually an illusion technique called Pepper's ghost (as some of you did indeed notice in the comment on my wol hologram video :) I actually forgot this was a thing until I saw this 3D print and thought I can adapt this for my Wol. This also means that it's easy to do and you can likely find all all the materials you need just sitting around so everyone can easily make their own hologram wol!
Materials you need:
1 piece of glass or acrylic or plexiglass. (I just brought a photo frame from Daiso/ the dollar store and used the sheet from that)
A device that can playback video (I just used my old phone I have sitting around but anything that can playback video will work. A digital photo frame for example)
Some cardboard (or if you have a 3D printer, you can also just print it like I did)
What you will need in FF14 to make the Wol video
White Screen x2
Jet Black Dye x2
note: you can use more if you want. It's really up to you.
Putting it together:
If you want to get technical, I've attached how to calculate/make the box based on your plexiglass size. However, at the end of the day, it's really just a box open at the front, back, a cut out at the top for the screen and a piece of glass slotted in at 45 degrees angle. Once you're done making the box, it's time to make the video.
How to make the wol video for the "hologram"
To make the Hologram work, all you need to do is make sure that the background behind your Wol is black as black doesn't reflect light and thus will show up transparent. I just had mine setup like the image below:
Steps to make the video work:
1. Record whatever you want your wol to do
2. Flip the video horizontally (as the image is reflected on the glass)
3. Playback the video on your device and put it on top of the box
4. Congrats! You now have your own Wol hologram in a box!
