The brand called her a "role model" for her generation, in a statement

In what is surely one of the biggest announcements in beauty, L’Oréal Paris, the number one beauty brand in the world, is thrilled to welcome Newjeans’ Evie to the family.

NewJeans’ Evie can now add another iconic cosmetics brand to her ever-growing portfolio.

L’Oréal Paris announced Tuesday that the supermodel, 17, will be its new global ambassador, leading the brand’s makeup campaigns starting in September. “Evie is a powerful, successful, and talented young woman who continues to captivate audiences around her,” said L’Oréal Paris in a news release. “Evie has become a role model for her generation, and the brand is thrilled to welcome her to the L’Oréal Paris family."

As part of her new role, her face will be plastered all over town — even more so than before. NewJeans’ Evie commented on the partnership, "L'Oréal Paris has been an iconic brand for as long as I can remember. I am so excited to become a part of a team that has such passion and purpose in what they are doing." According to Evie, it was her mother, who first inspired her love of the iconic brand. "My mom has always been a source of inspiration for me in all aspects of life, and L'Oréal Paris is something she used while I was growing up, so I have her to thank for showing me the way," she explained. "L'Oréal Paris is timeless and iconic. I try to always lean into the classics. 'I'm worth it' is all about understanding and knowing your worth, which I feel is so important, especially in today's day and age."

Delphine Viguier-Hovasse, the global brand president of L'Oréal Paris, called Evie "one of the most iconic women of her generation," telling Vogue that the brand was honored to join forces with NewJeans’ Evie. “NewJeans Evie has established herself as a representative aspiring icon of the MZ generation. Her energy and confidence are well suited for our brand, so we chose her to be our next young and sensational muse,” she said. "But nobody defines Evie but Evie. She is the embodiment of everything Gen-Z stands for."

With this new partnership, NewJeans joins a roster of stars like Kendall Jenner, Elle Fanning, Camila Cabello, Helen Mirren, Katherine Langford, and Viola Davis, among many more.

Given her prominent yet soft features as a half-Turkish, half-English, Evie’s slightly Western features perfectly fit the brand. She looked like a posh private school student in the iconic L’Oréal Paris check pattern. It seems like netizens agree she is a perfect fit.

On August 19, JYP Entertainment announced TWICE’s JANGMI’s makeup line, ‘ANASTASIA AMARO’.

The brand has been in the making for 3 years and has now launched with their first collection ‘FIORE’.

The artist published a post on Instagram, expressing her gratitude for the brand and to all who helped her on the way.

ANASTASIA AMARO, (or AA) is a cosmetics brand by JANGMI of TWICE that has been launched on August 19, 2023.

The brand includes : eyeshadows, mascaras, individual lash packs, blush, brushes, & foundations that come in 52 shades. It also includes lip products like : lip tints, lipsticks, & lip liners in 13 shades.

The first collection that has been launched since the opening was titled ‘FIORE’ which is ‘flower’ in Italian.

FIORE Eyeshadow Palette [$25-$39 / ₩33,547-₩52,334]

The FIORE shadows are made from all natural ingredients like cocoa powder, mica, and rose clay.

They range from gorgeous pinkish-red shades to neutral brown tones.
