So uh, I was trying to use insta today to look up a doll I just discovered (to maybe see some limited owner's photos) and it makes you talk to the meta llama ai chatbot thing instead of doing the search if you use the search key on your phone keyboard. yeah. You have to use the search below to just be taken to results. =.=

See how this artist does some of the line work first? That's something I'd seen other artists talk about and something I've been trying lately.

It makes it easier to remove linework you don't like without messing everything else up, when linework is all that's there.

Before, I'd been trying to block in things like the brows with pastel and doing a lot of blushing and pastel work first.

I do still block in the brow area with pastel first, though, just with either a much lighter pastel than I want for the brows or with the blush pink color.

I do have a bad habit of working in as few layers as possible. I tend to be out of MSC (I have so much MSC right now....) and try to be frugal with it, so my faceups tend to be only one or two layers. That contributes to how undersaturated they tend to be.

Sigh. I need to redo the button band. It's too tight.

Wrong blog, nobody saw that... NIcolai recently got a new fullset and a new wig! I actually was always pretty sceptical about lacefront wogs, but this one? Chefs kiss. It fits him perfectly.

On another note, I kinda miss making random pictures. Its been so long...

Wanted to do a lil crossover between my bjd doll and most of the papercrafts I have designed lately! She, starchild, was one of the very first projects I worked on regarding figurine-modeling since 2 years ago approximately. She has so many friends (and frienemies) now!

And on another note I feel very proud of what I’ve accomplished so far. I never could’ve imagined to end up making all of these fellas in a short period of time, or doing all of this papercraft series thing at all! Papercrafts were a whole new opportunity for me to make figurines without taking much time and also be able to share them with other people. I’ll surely continue working with them alongside my other projects that of course include modeling bjds too (and many other cool stuff ;]). Thanks for all the kind comments on my papercrafts and thanks to the people who have built them as well, love to see people have their blorbos accompanying them irl! 💕
