This is a figure of Bob Ross I keep on my desk at work, I keep it under one of my monitors at work, with the thing I do it gets incredibly stressful. In a way that sometimes eats at my soul. For the moments of my day that drive that stress, I look at this figure and remind myself: it’ll be okay, it’s all temporary, you’re fine.
ISO: 100, Focal Length: 18mm, Aperture: 3.5, Shutter Speed: .6 Seconds.

This was a test of a shot from the DSLR I had finally received in today. It is a flower that is outside of my apartment, that I’ve tried to shoot properly on several occasions, however a DSLR just made it so much easier. I have plans to take a road trip through rural North Carolina over this next weekend. I’m sure good things will come from it.
ISO: 100
Lens: Canon EF-S 18-55 3.5:5.6: Shot at 18mm 3.5

Canon Rebel XS, 35-80mm lens, shot at 4.0, ISO 200, at 35mm.
Growing up I always wanted to live in a city, having grown up in rural America. Now that I am here I am not exactly sure if I am facing some sort of imposter syndrome or what. However it is difficult for me to feel at home here some days, although I really like to think I am trying my best. The photos I had took from this day was for a portrait shoot for a really good friend of mine. This was also the first time I had visited the arts district inside of Winston-Salem. Which I grew to appreciate it some strange way after that day. Also worth noting is I had just bought a car the day beforehand, and this was the first thing I drove to do.
