Laid Out
I already have my future laid out.
It’s simple and something I’ve been thinking about
For the last few years; rooted from being the person I am,
From being on my own, carpet and books on top.
From being surrounded by minor cords to major events,
Racism and Hate. It won’t stop. Black Lives Matter.
The Plan will be in my veins
Injected until I pass out, nod off.
It’s cheap and it’s a warm hug.
Back into the Womb.
It could be next year,
But more than likely in ten years.
Here’s to you opiates, Beside Me.
(I’ll go to South Borneo first though to look after orphaned orangutans)

Will you please wash up
At my front door?
Please
It’s not much to ask for
I would dry the salt
Water from your
Clothes
Face
Hair
And give you new clothes
You’d taste and smell of
The salt still
But that’s what I want
You can’t comb your hair though
I don’t own a comb
But I would use my fingers
And be as gentle as possible
Just be here so we can
Make the bed an ocean

a farewell to sadness
I thought I will always be miserable
I thought Morrissey was onto something
I thought perhaps if I found the right person
I would be a little less sad
but still sad
I thought wrong
I think you are the sun
I think with you nothing is too sad
not even me
I think with you I shine too
I think with you I shine even through the rain
and make rainbows
and barely listen to The Smiths
I think you are the one

@jojhairysun aaaa it's Belka and Strelka the spacedogs! Their names mean Squirrel and Arrow in Russian and I love it. Also 'Laika' translates as 'little barker' :')
