Just a heads up here: I haven’t really touched this blog because I wasn’t happy with how it was turning out. But now that my muse is starting to come back, I’m planning on outright making a new blog entirely. I’ll keep this one up for a couple of weeks, put this post on queue, then delete the entire blog. It’s a convoluted mess that I just don’t have the patience to sweep up. So fresh start it is! The new blog is truthsought, and I’ll be working on it over the next week or so.

While Narukami is very trusting and forgiving, most notably seen in his relationship with Adachi, he does indeed wish to be more wise in terms of understanding people. His naiveté cause him to be to Adachi’s hidden emotions and personality for so long, and even the revelation didn’t immediately sink completely in at the time. As understanding as the teen is, he does wish that he could be more aware of people’s intentions and true thoughts; if only to keep himself from being hurt as a result of getting too close to the wrong people.

The real truth behind the Inaba Serial Murder Cases. While justice was rightfully done in the end, the actual circumstances behind everything will forever remain covered up. The Midnight Channel, the way the victims died… Even how close the world was to being enveloped by fog. It will all remain hidden from the public eye.
And while that may be for the best, only telling half of the truth almost feels hypocritical to what he holds dear. The Konishi family will never know the real reason behind Saki’s death, and Miss Yamano’s legacy was left in shambles before she could even try and make amends in her life… And being unable to reveal these truths is painful.
