i honestly love her writing and felt so welcomed by her and her blog. i thought i would give my shot at writing and im dedicating this piece to her. its not great but i hope you like it! this was supposed to be for christmas but i hated everything i wrote but i did like this. so sorry for the long-ass wait but im in a good mental place to start posting
Megumi couldn’t help the eye roll that came when you asked if he wanted to go on a walk with you. You always tried to get him to do things with you when his father was away on business and you finished all the housework. His father should’ve known that his wife would be lonely after so long but he usually came after 3 days, never later than that.
So it was strange that the next morning, on the 4th day, his father was nowhere to be seen. Megumi was used to waking up and sitting down on the left side of the table, never top or bottom. You would fix breakfast and sit down near Megumi after fixing the plates. His father would be silent and just eat without saying anything. Megumi would do the same. After breakfast, Megumi would be off to do his own thing and wouldn’t see you until dinner.

Am I really gonna write a spicy Higgs fic for this?
Yes I am
I want to do something nice and fun for the Death Stranding fandom cause you all have been kind to me.
I got this Higgs jacket. The peeps sent me the wrong size and due to a technicality, won't do returns or exchanges :/ (it's a 'large' but fits more like a medium for my 5'9" tall giraffe ass). I'm going to get another one, and I don't mind parting with this to someone in the fandom.
That being said, there's a crap ton of you I fucking love and adore and I know I can't give this to everybody, so I'm going to say this:
1. Like and reblog as much as you want until March 15th.

(A/N: I'm officially back and I want to say thank you to everyone who sent me such wonderful messages and instead of just Death Stranding, I will be writing other characters of different games. xoxo 💘)
Higgs wasn't a good person, he's an awful person who tried to kill both you and Sam and yet, you were a stuttering mess around him. It was truly embarrassing but you just couldn't help it.
Much to your surprise, he became your friend? It was an odd relationship between you and him but it was better than him trying to murder you. At first, you only humor him and tried not to get yourself killed but overtime, you became excited to see Higgs.
He became the highlight of your day.
You enjoyed his company and hanged off his every word. Higgs was charming and was cool as a cucumber. You couldn't help but be a lovesick puppy over him. It was hard to hide that fact from everyone else but Higgs saw right through your lies. He knew how you felt and he still teased you relentlessly.
A yawn escaped your mouth as you sat your things down beside you, the Timefall creating a soft sound.
You were taking care of Sam's deliveries before Timefall came. It was worst than usual and you decided to use the time to rest for a bit. You weren't used to walking so much, only making small deliveries, but Sam needed the extra hands for a few of them. You were happy to help, ignoring the concerned comments from Deadman.
You've never been so far away from Bridges or Deadman, only making small deliveries. So when Sam asked for your help, Deadman was quick to deny Sam's offer. You were one of the only things that Deadman actually connected to, the other being Sam and Lou.
It took a lot of convincing but Deadman was finally on board, sorta but not really. While strapping everything on, Deadman gave you a big speech about the dangers of the BT's and the mules. You couldn't help but laugh at his behavior, his own laughter soon joining yours.
You gave him a hug before heading out, a hand grabbing your forearm. You expected a goofy Deadman but his face told a different story, "And never get near Higgs or the Homo Demens. You run away from them as fast as you can, understood?"
You slowly nodded your head before officially heading to your first location.
You were thankful for the clear skies and the warm weather. You didn't want to admit it but you were nervous about the trip. Especially after Deadman's speech about BT's and Mules but the Higgs part scared you the most. You've never seen him before but you remember Sam mentioning his name.
Maybe it was luck but you were thankful to have pick a cave that had large, smooth rocks for you to lay against. You picked one that was facing the open view. Timefall may be a terrible thing for everyone but you found it intriguing.
You crossed your arms before leaning back against the rock, taking one last glance at the view before falling into a deep slumber.
You slept for a couple of hours before slowly coming back to the real world. You moaned a bit as you stretched your legs from their curled postion. It felt good to stretched after a deep slumber. You yawned before laying your head back down on your stuff.
You stayed in this postion for a second, attempting to go back asleep, before feeling something stroke your hair. "You must've have had an adventure to be this tired or maybe you just wanna stay close to me."
Your eyes opened wide, already feeling your cheeks get warm at the postion. Not really sure how you got in the situation but your head was laying on the man's thigh, a little too close to his-
"Timefall should let up soon and you'll be able to head back home, doesn't that sound nice?" The man spoke, his mask making his voice husky.
You slowly sat up, thinking of multiple ways to get out of this situation. You heard the man chuckle before he stood up, lending you a hand. Although most people wouldn't take it, you had somewhat faith that this man wouldn't kill you if you played your cards right.
He pulled you up before undoing the sleeves of your suit, slightly grazing the open skin on your stomach. It took a second to realize that he was helping you pack everything back up, preparing you to go back out.
Neither of you said anything as he made sure your packages were tightly packed on. You couldn't see his face but you were lost in his golden mask. Being shorter than him, you got to study the small details in his mask.
The man made a small noise before removing his left glove, putting it in his right hand. His ungloved hand cupped your face, with his thumb resting upon your lower lip. You'd be lying if you said you weren't scared at the moment.
"Open your mouth" He whispered, a small 'ah' falling from his lips when you obeyed, slightly parting your lips. You were in trance by this man but who was he? You desperately wanted to know who he was and why he had so much power over you.
Before you knew it, the man disappeared when he heard a man call out for you. It took you a second to collect your thoughts but when you did, you realised that Sam was calling out for you.
Too busy with daydreaming, you weren't paying attention to your path and ended up tripping. You let out a little moan of pain before hearing the devil's voice.
"You really are falling for me, huh?" You could tell by Higgs smug voice that he was smirking. You rolled your eyes before getting back up, dusting yourself off. The packages were still safe and sound on you.
Ignoring Higgs, you started back on your path to East Knox. It didn't surprise you that he started following you but you were surprised that he was staying quiet. Higgs usually was annoying you or took your stuff to hide. He wanted your attention 24/7.
"Are you speechless because I'm just that attractive?"
You stopped in your tracks before smacking his arm, "Higgs, I've never seen your face before. You're always wearing that stuipd mask! God, you're annoying!"
Your little outburst was shocking to both you and Higgs but it was tiring to love someone and still not see what they look like. Not giving him a chance to reply, you started walking faster.
It wasn't long until you felt bad about what you said, it was hard to stay mad at Higgs. Swallowing your pride, you turn around to apologize but Higgs was nowhere to be seen. Shocker! Another tantrum from "The Particle of God that Permeates All Existence". You rolled your eyes before turning back around, coming face to face with Higgs.
"Wow" You said in a low whispered tone. Higgs had removed his mask but still kept that damn hood on. It didn't really matter because you could still the little details on his face. You were falling in love all over again.
Higgs smirked at your reaction, "You really are speechless, huh?" He laughed a little bit as you study his face. You fell in love with his blue eyes and the black rings that wrapped around them.
Reality set in and you begun to realized that you were staring a bit too long at Higgs face. Looking down, you quickly apologize for yelling at him and for staring. Higgs let out a little 'hm' before grabbing your chin, bringing you back to his face.
"I loved watching you run around and drop things off for Deadman. It was entertaining," Higgs stopped for a moment, picking his words carefully. "but I realized that I was focusing so much on you that I didn't care about anything else."
Higgs almost seemed amused by your reaction but you knew he was still the same old Higgs. You couldn't forget what he did to everyone, especially to Sam. Higgs wasn't a good guy, he would never changed.
The war in your head went away after Higgs pulled you in for a kiss.
He truly was the devil

Ngl that fragile sister head cannon is VERY similar to one that I’ve had for a bit now, except in mine she goes along with the Demens and theres a rift between her and fragile. They make semi amends in the end and she brings her sister with her to amelies beach and let’s her stay with him in the end. I’m a sucker for heartbreak.

Listen to my idea before you judge, okay?
Before Higgs betrayed Fragile, they worked together and Higgs started a secret relationship with Fragile's (adopted?) sister. She would never tell Fragile about the affair but she still works for Fragile Express. After a little while, Fragile and Sam take the sister with them on a delivery and Higgs find them. Higgs become obsess with the sister and more shit like that. It's a working progress but I needed an excuse to write baby Higgs.

A/N: You should listen to Single by The Neighbourhood because that's what I based it off of. No spoilers and pretty much inaccurate of Higgs character but I wanted to post something cute before posting some dark stuff. I read all requests but I don't post them. Hope y'all like it - ✨
I don’t know if we should be alone together

Higgs smiled as you hummed a lovely song, wiping the blood from the small cuts on his face. Daniel and Higgs had gotten into a fight and you decided to clean Higgs up instead of your husband, Daniel. You both sat in Higgs room, the moon shining onto you both. Your hands were smooth against Higgs rough skin, it was almost weird how perfect you were. Everything about you was perfect to Higgs, from your (H/C) messy hair that flowed down your perfectly shaped face.
“Higgs, must you always fight with Daniel? I hate seeing you all beat up, it hurts my heart.“ Higgs own heart ached at the sound of your worried words.
Everywhere I go you show whatever
I don’t ever mind sharing oxygen
I just wanna get lost in your lungs
“I’m sorry, pumpkin“ Higgs said as a solider came in to tell you that Daniel wanted to see you. You nodded your head and dismissed him before turning to Higgs, running the back of your hand down his face, stopping at his lips. Your thumb gently moving back and forth on his bottom lip, it was a quiet moment. A moment that you both would remember as you did the rest, a moment that would appear in your head when you see Daniel.
Higgs gently grabbed your wrist before moving to your hand, kissing your delicate fingers, kissing your palm, kissing your wrist, kissing down your arm. He loved the little giggles you made when he kissed your body, it almost felt like he was in heaven. You smiled before standing, taking your arm away from Higgs, and leaned down to kiss the five small cuts on his face. You grabbed your bowl and rag and left the lovely boy.
Just a baby, but she’s growing up so fast

But it’s making me go crazy
Higgs groaned as he watches Daniel dance with different woman, pig. Higgs rolled his eyes at the whores that waved and tried to flirt with him. They always came up to him and talked about how scared he must have been when timefall came or how he should let them help forget the pain just for a night, but Higgs always turned them away. He didn’t need a woman to help him, all he needed was you, but you didn’t need him.
Higgs ignored his friend teasing and just looked around the room for his soulmate. He smiled when he saw the beautiful girl dance around with different men and women, god, she was just so beautiful. Her smile was open for the world to envy over, her dress twist and twirl around the room, her boots hit the floor gracefully with every step she took, her (H/L) locks danced with her.

You smiled as Alan hooked your arms with his, dancing and singing loudly. He swung you back and forth as you laughed your soul out. Everyone was dancing and singing together after another successful battle. Daniel had given you the biggest and sloppiest kiss when he saw you. You always loved his kisses; his lips were soft like silk. You always felt happiness whenever you saw Higgs come ba-DANIEL, you meant Daniel. Daniel is the love of your life not Higgs. You must have drunken way too much, but you didn’t want to stop. You never had this much fun before with a man, well, with someone that isn’t Higgs. You always had fun with Higgs but one of your favorite memories was on your birthday, you could remember it like it was yesterday.
A feast was thrown for your birthday, you were finally a woman. You were already married to Daniel for a few months now, but he wasn’t a very good husband. You were having fun with people that treated you like you were one of them. They talked to you and gave you things like you were a queen, but you knew it was because they feared Daniel, but some did like you. You sat at the front table with the rest of Daniel’s friends but he was nowhere to be seen.
Gary didn’t pay attention to you, he was just messing with some servant, but Higgs? Higgs was giving you roses and saying nothing but sweet things in your ear.

You open your mouth, I’m hypnotized
Higgs never let you forget how beautiful you looked, always saying how pretty your eyes were in your dark red dress and how the small red flowers that decorated the small braids in your hair. Higgs was the only man that cared for you, it was nice. He grabbed the gifts that many gave you and sat closely to you as you opened it, always smiling at your reactions or any little noise you make. He always made sure your plate or cup is filled with something sweet, Higgs was a dream come true.
You always thought Higgs was the cutest of all the generals(?) but how could you not? His piercing blue eyes sent chills up and down your body and don’t even speak of his godlike cheekbones or those pearls he calls teeth.

Higgs felt his heart bloom when you begin laughing at his story. He was telling you a story about when he almost drowned Daniel in the ocean. People would laugh nervously but you? You laughed with a laughed that could clear a rainy day. Your laughter was real and filled with love, he was in love and that scared the hell out of him. Higgs didn’t want to love anyone, especially if he couldn’t have them. He wanted to be the one to hold you in the mornings, to kiss you whenever he wanted, to praise your body, he wanted it all.
“Higgs, you sho- “
You stopped midway through your sentence when you saw your husband walk in looking like a complete mess, a whore following behind him. God, he was disgusting and today of all days. You quietly and quickly excuse yourself from the table and escape into the warm weather.
“Baby,” I can’t help but call her that
Even though I shouldn’t say it
You sat in the small forest that wasn’t too far from the base but just enough to have privacy. Daniel made a promise to love you forever but you should’ve known that he wasn’t going to stay loyal, they never do. All the other girls were more beautiful than you, lovelier, so fucking bett-

You turned around when you heard the soft voice that came from the scariest man. Higgs walked towards you before sitting beside you, adjusting his legs so he could set down a small box on his lap before looking at you innocently. You both just sat in silence, just listening to the feast in the distance, the horses whining, the wind just blowing through the trees.

“I got you a present, but I was going to give it to you when we were alone“ Higgs said nervously almost as if he was afraid of what would happen if he spoke loudly or said the wrong thing. You turned to Higgs as he handed you the small blue box, he obviously got this from the last time he went on a raid (is that the right word? I’m not sure but let’s continue) with his team. You gently took the top off, taking note of how rich the box felt in your soft hands, and gasp at the necklace that laid in the silky box. You picked up the necklace to examine it, quickly losing interest of the lush box, the necklace had a gold chain and an emerald that took its place in a gold circle-shaped plate.(i suck at writing)
“Higgs, it’s so beautiful“ You said as you felt tears spring from your eyes, but a rough hand quickly wiped them away before holding your delicate face. Daniel has never done something like this before, he never truly loved you like the man that sat beside you did. The man you married was cold, unloving, uncaring, and a whore but Higgs? He was sweet, loving, warm, and full of love, the love that only belonged to you.
“(Y/N), why are you crying?“ Higgs asked with a small panic in his voice, he just want to make you happy. He just wanted to fix your problems but instead he was causing more. Higgs had a billion of thoughts running in his head, ways to fix everything, how he missed everything up, how he missed his chance was you, he just neede-

You just didn’t care right now, you didn’t care if anyone or if Daniel came looking for you or Higgs. The feelings of Higgs lips on yours was the most breathtaking thing to ever happened to you, his lips were like heaven. The kiss was sweet and filled with so much unspoken love that has been building up for months. Higgs felt normal, he didn’t feel like you were afraid of him or like a bad person. He felt happy and truly loved, it was just you and him in this perfect moment.
You whimpered as you felt your throat scream for air, which caused you to pull away from the forbidden fruit that was Higgs. The two broken lovers looked in each other’s eyes, Higgs getting lost in yours, you saw a delicate look in his eyes, a look that tells how scared he was. You leaned in and captured Higgs lips with your own, his lips were like heaven on earth. They weren’t rough like Daniel’s, like he was looking for a quick fuck or something. Higgs kissed you with so much love and affection, his tongue lightly swiping across your bottom lip, asking for permission to explore your mouth. Daniel would just force his way in and just take everything he wanted but Higgs was so gently, something you weren’t used to.
You felt the tears fall from your eyes, which only alarmed Higgs, he pulled away and loosened his grip on your face. “(Y/N), are you okay?" Higgs voice was full of fear, but the fear was quickly gone when you climbed on top of him, sliding the dress down your shoulders and revealing your godlike body.

“Will make love to me?“ You said with a shaky voice, you were afraid he would reject you but deep down you knew he wouldn’t. The way his eyes were scanning your body like you were the most beautiful thing on earth. The way Higgs kissed your body was so delicate like he was scared he was gonna break you, but he knew you’ve never felt such gentle pleasure before. The rest of that night was a blur, but it was hard to forget what Higgs and you did, you’ll never be able to forget.

You finally left your daydream after Alan pulled you into a hug, his brown bushy beard tickling you. You giggled before walking over to your husband, sitting on his lap, you rested your head on his shoulder as his hand drew circles in your thigh. Daniel was a better husband than before but you still didn’t feel the same love you felt when you thought of Higgs. It was an indescribable feeling. You just couldn’t love anyone like you love Higgs, he just made you feel like the most important person in the world and you could never have him. You could feel the tears swelling up in your eyes, you tried to stop them, but they already began to fall.
“(Y/N), are you okay?” Daniel asked as he grabbed your face, concern written all over his. You just shook your head before running outside to the small forest where everything began. You sat in the same spot where you lost your love for Daniel, the spot where for once you truly felt happiness. All you wanted to do was to go back and just stay in Higgs arms for a little while, just to be loved for a little while longer.

You looked across the table only to be met with Higgs eyes. The same blue eyes that cherish your body last night. You bit your lip when he began to smirk at you, laughing as he bit into an apple. You watched the juice slide down his chin, you really shouldn’t be thinking these things and yet, here you were. Higgs tongue came out, licking his lips before wiping away the apple juice. ( I wish I was that apple) You both sat in silence as everyone came in from cleaning themselves up.
You felt disgusted when Daniel kissed your cheek but then you remembered what Higgs did, which caused you to smile.
“I see you forgave Daniel, Songbird.“ Gary said in a teasing voice, he wanted to cause chaos between Daniel and you. Gary and some other general started laughing as Daniel threw bread at them, calling them cheeky bastards. The boys didn’t really pay attention to you for the rest of breakfast, but you knew Higgs was watching your every move. Being ignored by everyone was quite painful, they just looked over you like you weren’t even there.
You just looked at Higgs, studying his face. You took note of every scratch and scar that was on his enchanting face. You loved Higgs eyes the most, they were just so mesmerizing. You felt a calmness staring into his blue eyes, that was until the blonde whore from last night came in with a jug of water. She quickly pours everyone’s cup but went slow for Daniel, even saying how great the party was last night.

You felt your eyes water up, you quickly looked away from the scene that unfold in front of you. You just wanted to get away, but your legs wouldn’t move. You tried to calm yourself down, but nothing seemed to work. ‘Just think happy things’ You kept telling yourself, quietly breathing in and out. After getting some feeling in your legs, you started moving your chair back before stopping when an knife hit the table near Daniel and the whore.
“Water?“ Higgs said innocently as he held his cup up, a sweet but sick smile on his face. The blonde quickly walks over to him before pouring his cup, spilling a little on his hand. Before you could think, Higgs grabbed her hair and dragged her to her knees. She dropped the water, spilling it everywhere, as she cried in pain. Everyone stayed in their seats and waited for Higgs next move, everyone knew how unpredictable he was, and they feared him because of it. He pulled her close to his face before turning to face Daniel and you.
“Tell me something, did you fuck him?“ Higgs voice was full of hate, his face no better, only showing disgust. The blonde quickly nods her head but that only caused Higgs to tighten his grip on her hair, “He’s married to the sweet Songbird.“
“I can see why you did it, he… is quite lovely,“ That paused told you what you suspect, he wasn’t talking about Daniel. Higgs was talking about you. “You don’t deserve to be able to see such beauty“

“Higgs, your food is getting cold “ Lizzie said in a warning voice, she knew of Higgs love for you and she knew the chaos if Daniel was to know what happened last night. Lizzie knew of the night between Higgs and you, she was happy that he found his soulmate. Higgs was Lizzie's best friend, and everyone knew it, his happiness was the only thing that mattered to her.
Higgs looked at his friend before smiling, letting go of the blonde hair of Daniel’s whore. “You’re right but my food is ruined. May I have some of yours?“ Higgs asked his friend, even if he already knew the answer. The blonde started getting up and everyone thought this would be over, but it wasn’t. Higgs grabbed the whore’s face and began shoving his thumbs in her eyes.
“Thank you, dear“ Higgs voice was so kind when talking to her, it always was. He turned to you and smiled, he was proud of himself and hoped you were happy with what he did and you were, showing your white pearls with so much love in your eyes. Everyone stayed quiet and finished breakfast.
Everyone watched in shock, even Lizzie, as the woman lost her sight. She screamed in pain, but no one dared to help her and why would they? Higgs finally stopped and threw her on the floor, eating the grapes that his friend gave him.

You looked at the little stars that littered the sky, you always loved the stars. You just sat and listened to the waves and how they hit each other. You felt a warm sensation go over your cold fingers, you knew what it was, you felt those fingers before. The same warm fingers that touched you in your most vulnerable places, the same warm fingers that gave you great pleasure, you knew his fingers anywhere.
Your baby, she’s mine
You connected your fingers with his, feeling whole and warm inside. You could no longer deny the feelings of love you had for the boy-eye(d?) boy. You loved him, and he loved you.
