Leslie really said this woman I met a second ago is now my best friend and I am in love but she is a straight so I will just yearn openly throughout our friendship even though she doesn't feel the same and I don't expect anything from her. I think the community movie should open w troy and abed with their faces right in the camera, looking right at the audience. they're older and different but still the same in many ways. the very first line of the movie is their signature catchphrase, "troy and abed in a moovviieeeeee!" (the audience goes wild.)
they take a step back and abed goes "yeah, i think we got it." the rest of the cold open is them filming (or showing) a movie they made, which foreshadows the rest of this movie ofc, until jeff walks in and tells them off for still being weird/loud/etc. they just shrug and he rolls his eyes and leaves. troy and abed have one more little quip and then

I mean, don’t get me wrong, it’s a job. If jobs were fun, they wouldn’t pay us to do it. But occasionally there were moments that weren’t so bad. And for whatever reason, those are the only things I can remember right now. You know, most jobs suck 99% of the time. So you really… really gotta enjoy those moments that don’t.
Those bits of fun you have during downtime. Or an interesting conversation with a coworker. Or something happens that you can laugh about later. Or you do something that you’re actually proud of. If you’re lucky, maybe you even get to be friends with a coworker or two along the way. Not sure what else you could want in a job.

i love sitcoms, even the "bad" ones, even the ones that get worse as it goes on, i just love them. i love all of the long running jokes, the slow burn romances, the impossible situations, the meaningless drama, i love having something comforting to watch. they make me so happy.
