Having in mind how Prince of Egypt, El Dorado and Voltron look TH would have look so cool in 2D I don't know why Dreamworks changed their style so much
although I really enjoy the 3D style, I think trollhunters should have been a indie 2D animation.

Isn't it curious how all of Jim's transformations are basically him dying?
Part of him died when he turned into a half troll hybrid
His old human self was gone after turning into a full, corrupted troll
And to regain his human self back, he literally was turned to stone (which is the way most Trolls die)
And now that I think about it, it also has some resemblance to suicide methods
The most obvious one will be a bathtub suicide and the second one being Jim stabbing himself
