Hello everyone! This is a little blog run by 2 mods (see "About the Mods" if you want know about us!) Okami and Azure and our passion is helping people however we can!
This blog is made so that anyone can ask questions about social issues, ask for advice, or just submit things to us if you need to get anything off your chest or want some support!
We will answer everything we get to the best of our abilities! If you just want to rant to us and don't want your ask/submission published please tell us so we don't go against your wishes!
Unfortunately, neither of the Mods feel comfortable with addressing asks about Pornography. So, if your ask has to do with that you may receive an answer saying we do not feel comfortable addressing the subject.
All abuse will be deleted.
We are very intersectional here and believe that a-specs are part of the LGBT+ community. TERFs/REGs/SWERFs are not allowed and will be instantly blocked! If we reblog anything or answer anything from someone who is know to be any of these things or otherwise problematic please do tell us so we can rectify the situation ASAP!
MAPs and pedos are not allowed and will be instantly blocked/deleted from the ask box, same with porn blogs, so don't bother following!

Beautiful story.
Some slightly problematic wording that might be sexism in there, but overall it’s very well written and a good story to read and remember the value of kindness. If you have to use a tissue at the end, remember to blame it on the ninjas chopping onions! (lol)

This is Superman.
Superman is a tiny tiny little rooster who unfortunately was a little bit stunted in the growth area when he was a little chick.
Brother and sister, born at the exact same time.
He eventually caught up but by then the flock had basically bullied him so much for being tiny he’d been entirely ostracized and turned into a complete loner so now he has to live all by himself over with the cows, but he doesn’t care one bit because now he’s the leader of four big brown four legged chickens and honestly who can say that.
Also he’s super-cuddly.

How to have a conversation about a topic you’re not interested in or don’t know anything about:
Listen to what the other person has to say about the topic.
Ask a question about what they said. Asking them to clarify or explain something you don’t understand is great, but any question will do. All else fails, ask them to explain what they like about some part of the topic.
Listen to their responses and go back to step 2.
Do this until 5-15 minutes has passed, then change the subject to a topic of your interest, unless you are actually interested in learning more on this subject, in which case, go on for as long as you like.
Sometimes, they will say something like “I’m sorry to blather on about [topic].” This is an attempt at a conversational dismount. You can either say “no, it was fascinating, thanks” and then bring up your own topic, or you can say “no, it’s fascinating, please keep going” if you want to keep hearing about their topic. Note the tense difference (past -> moving on, present -> keep going).
I just thought I’d write a script for this, because someone who can’t / won’t do this came up in a Captain Awkward column, and listening about topics you have no interest in is a really useful skill to have and not often explicitly taught, particularly to boys and men.
