Honestly, I'm staying away from Twitter because Isles fans there are so... they act like it's the end of the world and that this franchise is dead. I believe that Lou needs to go but looking at the years ahead, I'd say we do got some solid players locked in.
the amount of people i have muted on twitter is crazy 💀 i migrated here after being tired of male hockeytwt crying over every minor thing
but we do have good players! injuries have kicked their asses the past two years but when everyones healthy the core is solid for the next few seasons

No, because I was on Twitter the other day and Stormy the Pig and NJ Devil was literally having a fight and some other mascots were joining in too and then I realized that Sparky doesn’t even have a twitter account. Where’s the fun in that?
We need Online Engagements LOU can’t you see it? Take a look at the Krakens for example, they gained so much supporters because of fun tiktoks.
Literally so many of our players deserve the same hype and fame that other players are getting but our team isn’t being marketed properly. I mean, I keep seeing edits of Z*gr*s and I’m like?? No shame but there are more attractive players out there. (I mean, if you wanna thirst over players the Isles literally have Barzy, Engvall, and a crap ton of Dilfs)
The management simply just sucks at marketing.
everything about the team is just outdated and it sucks. havent won since the 80s, marketing only targets the fans who watched them win in the 80s, a gm who just turned 80, holding players on a tight leash with facial and head hair regulations, no fun PR, not letting the players post anything fun… the list goes on. no one cares about the islanders because they show absolutely nothing to care about online
i know barzy hasnt been well on score sheets the past year but hes not even a house name anymore and he should be. not a single person knows who brock nelson is and they should. ilya sorokin gets forgotten until he makes an unbelievable save. it’s all terrible marketing
long island is pretty (said through gritted teeth) and could really draw UFAs in but everything else about the team chases those players away. i dont even want to be a FAN half the time, you think players wanna sign here? 💀

LITERALLY, I’m seeing other teams have fun PR and I get so jelly. I just know Lou is behind all this.
Also, minimal changes to the roster which is... Listen I love my DILFs okay? But we’re about to spend another season barely making (if not, not making) the playoffs but it’s whatever I guess. We might see more changes next year since Marty and Cal both have expiring contracts. And with a team that needs to get younger and faster...
Feeling very pessimist about next season but Lou just sucked the excitement out of me
is it so much to ask for walk in pictures… maybe even twenty one questions every once in a while
i would simply like for crotchety old hockey execs to stop catering to their 60+ year olds market and realize that social media is how you market the team now
also facts @ the same roster. atp we’re getting an entirely brand new team in 4 years when all of them retire at the same time, since majority of the team is all within like three draft years of each other 💀
