i had a experience today where my body overheated i started to lose focus in my schoolwork my heart started beating so loud and fast and hurting like a mf and i thought “omg this is it this is how i die i am going to die in the middle of art class” then i decided to try to alert someone i tapped my friends thigh my breathing was shaky and loud and my face was red and tried to tell her “get the teacher somethings happening” all that came out was a scrambled mumbled sentence and i thought i was about to faint but she understand and the teacher got her to take me real quick and since she knew i was anorexic she got a proteing bar and made me eat that shit and the second i took a bite everything slowly started to calm down and i have honestly never been more terrified
dont take life for granted as someone with an ed it doesnt matter whether your bmi is high or low your heart can stop at any second

Cravings and what they mean
If you crave carbohydrates, your serotonin levels may have dropped. Eggs, cheese and pineapple are good for raising them again.
If you crave sugar, you may be dehydrated. Drink some water or green tea.
If you crave red meat, you may be deficient in iron. Eat dried fruits like figs or prunes, or beans and legumes, or take iron tablets.
If you crave dairy, your blood sugar levels may be low. Eat foods naturally high in glucose, like oranges or strawberries to raise them.
If you crave chocolate, your magnesium levels may be low. Eat brown rice, whole grain bread or spinach to raise them.
If you crave salt, your blood pressure may be low. Eat salted nuts, whole wheat pretzels, or drink salted water to raise it. If that doesn’t work, you may be dehydrated. Drink water or green tea.
If you crave bread, your nitrogen levels may be low. Eat turkey, black beans or brown rice to raise them.
If you crave fried foods, you may be fatigued. Eat slow energy releasing foods like bananas or whole grain bread, or take a nap.

FAMILY MEETING
⚠️TW⚠️
Jesus..
Here we are again. Having the same bullshit conversation.
DOESNT it bother you?
You stand in the shower and your stomach is literally so big that you can barely see your feet.
You sit down and your stomach roll is just so fucking large and hangs over your pants.
You try to wear big clothes to hide it. Which works. But then you’re home, naked in front of the mirror. Hating yourself.
When will you listen to me?
I can help you.
I have all the tricks up my sleeve.
Take my hand. 🤝
We will lose this weight together.
You will skip meals. Cut down calories.
The weight will shed off
You will be dainty and perfect like you’ve always dreamt of.
Drop the food now.
grab a water bottle and coffee.
This is your new meal now.
Fat fuck.

<60 Cal Banana Bread Muffins
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
2 small or 170 g bananas, mashed (151 cal)
1 tbsp yogurt* (25 cal for yogurt)
1 tsp vanilla extract (12 cal)
1/4 cup truvia zero cal sweetener** (0 cal)
1/8 tsp salt (0 cal)
1 tsp baking powder (2 cal)
1 large egg (72 cal)
4 tbsp almond milk (15 cal)
3/4 cup or 100g oat flour*** (400 cal)
1/2 tsp nutmeg (5 cal)
1/2 tsp cloves (3 cal)
——————
Total cal: 685 cal
Per muffin, when making 12: 57 cal
——————
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Steps:
1. Preheat oven to 350°. Spray one 12 compartment muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray or line with coconut oil
[***step 1.5: make oat flour from 100 g of instant oats by pulverizing in blender until fine powder is made, approx. 3-5 min]
2. In a medium sized mixing bowl, add all ingredients except oat flour, baking powder, and spices. Gently mix by hand until combined well and mixture is smooth. Add flour, baking powder, and spices. Stir until combined.
3. Divide batter into muffin tin. Bake for 20 min at 350° F or for 5 min at 375° F, then 15 min at 350° or golden brown. [the high to low temperature is supposed to activate the baking powder better, resulting in a more fluffy and better-risen muffin]
4. Let cool for ~5 min. Turn out and enjoy!
Tumblr media

*i used yogurt simply because I didn’t have applesauce, with applesauce, it’d be 15 cals so ten cals less overall
**basically, we want the sweetness of 1/2 cup of white sugar so use what you like but I personally like truvia
———————
Just to make math easier and to be safe, I personally count these at 60 cals, but the cals will vary somewhat depending on your ingredients at home.

spicy soy marinated eggs
Truth is, I like spicy dishes a little more than sweet, which is not reflected in my blog. Before this post is a cake batter frozen yogurt recipe, and next week I’m posting oatmeal cookies, which will be followed by a pumpkin coffee cake that’s currently in development. I feel the need to make more savory dishes to balance the sweetness overload going on.
Given which side of tumblr I reside on, I’ll boldly assume that my audience likes boiled eggs. So, here’s a flavorful and easy way to enjoy them! Might I add, the marinade doesn’t add any calories to the eggs, bringing the calorie count to 78 calories per egg!
ingredients
2 tsp salt *
1 tbsp white vinegar *
½ cup soy sauce
½ cup water
1 tbsp gochujang, siracha, or other spicy condiment (optional)
3 tbsp sugar, honey, corn syrup, or other sweetener
1 tbsp sesame seeds
2 green onions, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
pinch of red pepper flakes
preparation
Bring a pot of water to a boil, then lower the heat. Add salt and vinegar to the pot. *
Gently lower 3 eggs into the pot. Cover and let boil for 6 to 7 minutes.
While the eggs are boiling, prepare the ingredients for the marinade. Combine soy sauce, water, gochujang, sugar, sesame seeds, green onions, garlic cloves, and pepper flakes.
When the cooking time is up, put the eggs into an ice bath. Let the eggs cool completely.
Peel the eggs. Be very gentle.
Once the eggs have cooled, transfer them into an airtight container. Pour the marinade over the eggs, close the container, and put them in the fridge to marinate overnight.
You could stop here and enjoy your spicy, savory soy eggs for breakfast or lunch as-is, or you could serve them over cauliflower rice or in ramen! I like them with a side of veggie yaki-onigiri (peep that recipe sometime next month) for a low calorie, nutritious, delicious meal.

hotteok: korean pancakes ~ 2 ways 🥞
♡ hotteok (korean pancake) is a popular street food in south korea, traditionally filled with a sweet cinnamon sugar and nut filling! but nowadays u can also find savoury options with vegetables, noodles, cheese, meat and more ~ i decided to try both kinds, this is a longg recipe sorryyyyy <3
Tumblr media
hotteok recipe (makes 16)
cinnamon sugar hotteok (serves 8 = 65kcals per pancake)
vegetable yachae-hotteok (serves 8 = 50kcals per pancake)
𝕚𝕟𝕘𝕣𝕖𝕕𝕚𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕤
pancake dough - (yield - 16 = 701kcals)
self raising flour (150g) - 564kcals
extra virgin olive oil (1tbsp) - 120kcals
low sodium salt (1/4tsp) - 0kcals
white sugar (1/2tsp) - 17kcals
water (8-12tbsp) - 0kcals
cinnamon sugar filling - (serves 8 = 171kcals)
soft light brown sugar (1tbsp) - 59kcals
cinnamon (1/4tsp) - 14kcals
flaked almonds (1.5tsp) - 98kcals
vegetable filling - (serves 13 = 82kcals)
red onion (1/4) - 15kcals
carrot (1 small) - 21kcals
tenderstem broccoli (2 twigs) - 21kcals
thin green chilli (1) - 4kcals
garlic (1 clove) - 4kcals
spring onion (1tbsp) - 3kcals
lemongrass (1tbsp) - 5kcals
low sodium soy sauce (2tbsp) - 9kcals
low sodium salt and pepper (pinch) - 0
note: the vegetable recipe makes enough filling for 13 pancakes; but the recipe only calls for 8 which means the filling = 48kcals
𝕞𝕖𝕥𝕙𝕠𝕕
in a mixing bowl, briefly stir together all of the dry ingredients for the dough
add in the oil, stir then start adding tablespoons of water until the dough starts to come together. take ur hands and continue to knead the dough together until there is no dry or wet mixture left in the bowl. cover the bowl with a tea towel and set it aside
now u can work on the vegetable filling ~ chop the brocolli into small bite size pieces (𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀), grate half of the carrot and chop the rest into bite sized pieces then wash the veg
add it to a small pot of boiling water and let it cook for a couple of minutes whilst you prepare the rest of the ingredients
finely dice and wash the red onion, as well as the green chilli, garlic, lemongrass and spring onion (𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝘀𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲)
once cooked, drain the broccoli and carrots then leave aside. in the same pot, heat up a little bit of oil and fry the red onions until brown and soft. add in the garlic, chilli and cooked veg and fry again for a few more minutes
add the rest of the vegetable filling ingredients and keep stirring to make sure that it’s not too liquidy season with salt and pepper accordingly (𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵: 𝘪𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘪𝘹𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘰𝘰 𝘸𝘦𝘵 𝘰𝘳 𝘰𝘪𝘭𝘺 𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘰 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮 𝘣𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘴....𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘭)
leave the veg mixture to cool in the pot. for the sweet filling ~ add the sugar and cinnamon into a mug then crumble in the flaked almonds. stir to combine and make sure there’s no lumps of sugar
time to assemble! this part takes a while....split the dough in the middle and then cut 4 even lines (𝘀𝗽𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝟴) then split each segment into two again
flatten one segment, add a teaspoon of filling in the middle before gently pulling the edges into the centre. pinch the seams and roll into a ball shape (𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝟲 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲) photos shown below
heat up a frying pan either with oil or without (𝘪 𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘶𝘱 𝘥𝘳𝘺 𝘧𝘳𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 1𝘴𝘵 𝘣𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘦) add 3-4 balls into the pan and flatten lightly, fry on each side until browned. flip once more then cover with a lid and steam for a minute or so (𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗼)
repeat this for all 16 and place them on a plate to cool for a few minutes
enjoy these warm as a dessert, snack or even part of a meal!
Tumblr media
♡ this recipe was really fun to make, i tried to make this as low cal as possible and tbh i’m happy with it ~ the dough makes these more filling meaning it can be eaten as a small meal with perhaps meat or other veg (i had mines for dinner with veggie sausages) it did take a whiiile cause i let it rise for an hour even tho i didn’t have yeast in it lmao so i didn’t need to do that...i’m definitely gonna make these again but in a much smaller batch ♡
cr: 𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘥𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘦 𝘣𝘺 𝘱𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘭𝘦𝘥𝘱𝘭𝘶𝘮.𝘤𝘰𝘮
fillings are my own adaptations

And microwave for around 90 seconds or until done!
