our newest kitty, luna, whom we only had for a month, passed away suddenly last night, possibly due to heartworm. i'm trying to come to terms with how quickly it happened, and i barely have the energy to make this post. i appreciate any patience extended while i am processing and grieving.

she was a dream come true to us: loving, cuddly, sweet—a precious life entrusted into our care for too brief a moment. i hope she knew we love her dearly.
