[Madoka Kaname? But that.. couldn't be. The last time he had seen the Madoka he knew, he was clearly male, if not only a little feminine. He hadn't held any of the traits that this girl clearly had. Oh, what was it about this person? Something just didn't feel right about her presence and it was unsettling. She couldn't be a normal girl or a regular puella magi. Homura didn't like not being in the know. Clearing his throat, he finally spoke again] ..Thank you, Kaname-san. [Despite her saying he could just call her Madoka, he didn't feel it was right for some reason. A reason that he couldn't put his finger on, until he remembered something else a certain blond had told him] Wait. I've heard of you.

Madoka couldn’t help but giggle.  Even as a male, it seemed as if Homura was still Homura.  The goddess curtsied as she introduced herself to the ebony.

“I seem to have forgotten to introduce myself.  My name is Kaname Madoka, but you can just call me Madoka.  It’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance.”

I know. [Unfortunately, that was true. Tomoe was someone that always managed to be Homura's one true competitor and he didn't really like that.] Together? No. I have absolutely no business with you.

Of course I knew. I’m a lot smarter than you give me credit for you know. [Tomoe knew he was getting on Homura’s nerves. Truth be told, he liked seeing the other with his feathers ruffled.] Anyways, I have no idea when Madoka is going to show up, our Madoka anyway. Might as well just wait for him together.

[Blinking, Homura is almost at a loss for words, but he gets past it fairly quickly.] Who.. [He frowns briefly, but it disappears from his face just as quickly. He hadn't meant to sound so dumbfounded, but there was something about this girl -- something he couldn't put his finger on.] ..Greetings.

Witches.. I've only ever encountered "witches," I believe, if that is your name for those monsters, correct? I've never seen a goddess or any other forms of an enemy.

[Homura resists the urge to say something rash and just shakes his head. If this is the Mami's -- or, at least, the one he's familiar with -- "female counterpart," then he isn't surprised that she hasn't done anything to stop Kyuubey from contracting.] Contracts.. It's always about contracts. It's about time he disappeared for good.

Well, our world is the same as usual, excluding having a goddess around us from time to time. We fight a variety of enemies now, not just Witches anymore.

As for Kyubey… [Mami tilts her head a little in thought.] He’s the same as ever: going around people asking for contracts in his little entropy quest. Last time I saw him, he had contracted some new people, but I haven’t heard from them yet.

I'm doing well, I suppose. I haven't run into too many difficulties lately other than a few pests, so I have nothing to complain about.

Yes, I am. [Mami's confident grin begins to grate on his nerves, but he holds back any sign of a temper] It's funny that you expect me to believe that you don't know by now. You have the habit of getting in my way when it comes to him, anyway.

Oh you are really? [His grin becomes slightly more amused. He has a small inkling of who the other might be waiting for, but decided to try and get him to say it instead of guessing it himself.] And who might that be?

[He's not sure if this is a trick or not, but surely enough, she does have the same name as the male she reminds him of.] A female counterpart? Surely, that.. I've never heard of such a thing.

[Homura just nods towards the smaller puella magi. He doesn't think he has ever seen her before, so he decides he might as well introduce himself.] Akemi Homura.
