I sometimes think abt Ed’s submarine…bc he absolutely could’ve built it to be piloted by one person. He 100% could’ve. He built the thing. From the sonar system to the rest of it. It was all his work. He could’ve built it to be piloted by just one person and handle only one person, but he didn’t.
The fact that’s he didn’t will forever be my Roman Empire for Nygmobblepot (besides the library scene) bc he 100% planned to leave with Oswald. He wanted to take Oswald with him.
He WANTED to take Oswald with him.
AND!! He came back to the GCPD to fight for Gotham for Oswald. Bc truly, he didn’t care for the city. He didn’t care abt the people in it. He didn’t care abt the GCPD anymore. The underground. The Narrows. He didn’t care and was willing to throw everything away, but he wasn’t going to leave Oswald behind.
He never planned on it.
When Oswald said that his blood was in the concrete this city was built? When he said that he saw Gotham as himself? When Ed came through saying “I like this city the way it is”?
Ed loves Oswald the way he is and Oswald loves Ed for who he is. It’s everything to me…

public libraries are so sick. there are five books I want to read and they're all relatively new so they're only available in hardback which is so expensive but it just cost me $0 to place holds on them. five books for zero dollars. it requires nothing but clicking a button and then going to the library to pick them up when they're ready. zero dollars. that's crazy

The best piece of advice I ever got was not meant as advice, but as an edict. If I was going to threaten people as a joke, it had to be so far out of proportion with what happened that it would be obvious I was joking. This changed how I expressed frustration with others. It then changed how I expressed frustration with myself.
Not “I’m going to hit you” but “I am going to buy a tuna sub from the gas station and hide it under the seat of your car”
Not “I’m going to kill myself” but “I am going to walk into the desert and let the scarabs take me”
The other side then happened. When I mess something up, instead of saying it’s bad and perpetuating negative thoughts, swing hard the other way.
Not “this art is terrible” but “this shall be framed and mounted on the wall in my museum exhibition as testament to the suffering I had to overcome”
Have been doing this since high school. It was my drama teacher who asked me to please stop scaring the actors. The other half of the edict was that I had to say it in a polite tone, and end it with either please or thank you.
Life changing. 10/10 Mr Muëller. Highly reccomend.

it's interesting how in Fromage Hannibal sends Will to Tobias right after Will told him that he kissed Alana. He'd been probably wanting to "test" Will for a while, get him to kill again, but here you clearly see him hesitating (which he rarely does) to share this information and still choosing this moment to tell him. Could it be that he felt jealous and annoyed at Will, betrayed in a way that made him want to hurt him back? Or did this pinch of jealousy awaken emotions in him that scared him, so much so that he tried to bury them? Did he want to prove a point to himself - that whatever he felt for Will didn't matter, but his experiences on him did, and so he wouldn't care risking to send him to his death?
We all know what happens next: Will survives, and Hannibal looks utterly releaved, admitting to Will wih big, watery eyes that he was worried he were dead.
Sure, Hannibal kinda had a love at first sight moment from the very first episode of season 1, but I feel like Fromage really is the episode where Hannibal realized the true extent of his affection for Will.

I love season 3 Will so much because he knew Hannibal wanted to fuck him so bad and he used that to his advantage except he underestimated how badly he wants Hannibal to fuck him bro almost popped a vein at the mention of another dude’s name, like calm down he ain’t getting any in maximum security prison and also remember how you have a wife and a kid at home?
