Hi, my name is Aisha, and this blog is dedicated to misogynoir! Misogynoir is a term coined by the feminist scholar Moya Bailey; it is defined as the intersection of racism and sexism as it pertains to Black women. Despite the fact that misogynoir is incredibly widespread and omnipresent in our day-to-day life, it is most often brushed to the side and ignored, due to Black women encompassing more than one marginalized group. If you dropped out of school because of diagnosed (or undiagnosed) ADHD, Autism, ADD, OCD, Dyslexia, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, schizophrenia etc… You did not fail. The education system failed you.

Oooooo omg i love Lolita fashion too!! I wish we had fashion subcultures here where I live but nothing like that has ever existed here lol 😭😭 I've always wanted to try out lolita fashion but I feel like it might make my sensory issues go a little haywire cuz I don't like having too many pieces of textured (lacy/sheer) clothing on at once especially full-sleeved clothing haha
Accessories on the other hand... i'm totally maximalist and will equip every single pretty hairclip i can find into my hair XD

Start using the term "femicide", for the love of fuck.
No, that's not THE ONLY type of murder that can and should be deemed femicide.
The cases of MMIW, Black trans women's murders, sex workers' murders, lesbicides, and the cases of women who were never romantically or sexually involved with men who wanted them and murdered them for it all count as well.
But come ON "spousal homicide of women" is THE stereotypical example of a femicide, and often the only one laws recognize, if any is recognized at all.
It's about time that imperial core feminists start organizing around femicide, especially in the US now that abortion rights were rescinded and that no-fault divorce is about to go the same route.

One of the major reasons we can never have any productive conversations about how men also struggle under the patriarchy is because people insist on dragging women into it and implying that it is their fault that men can't like wear pink or whatever
#and they also always ignore WHY men can't wear pink: because it's associated with women and women are lesser#but oh no nobody wants to discuss that part because it means acknowledging that misandry doesn't exist and that men's problems are just a#byproduct of misogyny and the fact that patriarchy is a rotten system in general
