Oman discusses a few of the stories of visitors that started from the moment construction started on the house, some of the ghost hunting expeditions that have been conducted and produced some strange and unexplained phenomena, and talks about some of the recent visitors that have felt strange things while at the property. Stamboel talks about some real life aspects of this horror film, being respectful of the first movie, and adding his personal touch to create a movie that stands on its own. In this horror-thriller, a shaman instructs Mila to return a mystical bracelet, the Kawaturih, to the “Dancing Village,” a remote site on the easternmost tip of Java Island. Joined by her cousin, Yuda, and his friends Jito and Arya, Mila arrives on the island only to discover that the village elder has passed away, and that the new guardian, Mbah Buyut, isn’t present. Various strange and eerie events occur while awaiting Mbah Buyut’s return, including Mila being visited by Badarawuhi, a mysterious, mythical being who rules the village. When she decides to return the Kawaturih without the help of Mgah Buyut, Mila threatens the village’s safety, and she must join a ritual to select the new “Dawuh,” a cursed soul forced to dance for the rest of her life. I got some insight on the process Szatarski took to create the fight scenes in the movie and his martial arts background. Bill Skarsgård stars as “Boy” who vows revenge after his family is murdered by Hilda Van Der Koy (Janssen), the deranged matriarch of a corrupt post-apocalyptic dynasty that left the boy orphaned, deaf and voiceless. Driven by his inner voice, one which he co-opted from his favorite childhood video game, Boy trains with a mysterious shaman (Ruhian) to become an instrument of death and is set loose on the eve of the annual culling of dissidents. Bedlam ensues as Boy commits bloody martial arts mayhem, inciting a wrath of carnage and blood-letting. As he tries to get his bearings in this delirious realm, Boy soon falls in with a desperate resistance group, all the while bickering with the apparent ghost of his rebellious little sister. In addition to releasing a series of gripping new singles, FELICITY has built a community with their creative – and often comedic – presence on social media. The band recently broke 138.1K followers on TikTok with 1.9M likes. Fans have been captivated by videos of FELICITY getting kicked out of stores for playing their music over the loudspeakers without permission, their attempts to “buy” their own merch at places like Walmart, throwing secret concerts in Lowe’s, and more.
