Recap Rewind

So, I have been fighting with myself on who was going to be my first podcast that I would review. I am listening to so many great podcasts. I have also listened to some boring ones. I didn’t want to start this blog off with me just complaining about a podcast. So, I want to start off with one I really enjoy.

Let me start off by saying I listen to all my podcasts by Spotify. I can download the episodes and listen to them at work. Where I work we can’t be online so I have to do it that way. I also don’t have iTunes where you can also get almost all of these podcasts I listen too.

So, the one that I picked for this post is called Recap Rewind. They do several shows that they recap so far I had listened to their American Horror Story, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Riverdale. All great shows. They have others that I plan on checking out. The next one I plan on listening to is them recap a show called “You” on Netflix. The hosts of this podcast are J-Lag and NBea. They are very friendly and they make me laugh with each episode. I tweet them a lot and they respond back. I’m sure once they grow they will have to limit what and who they tweet too but for now they are just awesome friendly down to earth people.

This is how they start their podcast they first talk about whatever events they may have coming up and then they start to layout the episode. They talk about the episode giving their opinions on different things that happened. After that is done they go on with their last part of the show which is called Recap Roundup. First, they pick their best moment. Then they pick their WTF moment. (I do hope you know what that means.) Then they pick their MVP (Most Valuable Player) and then their LVP (Least Valuable Player). Then they finish it with the best line.

I really do not have anything negative to say about the podcast. I really enjoy it and always do my best to pop in their chats when I know they are having one. I can’t always be there because I am at work when I listen to them.

My Very First Post

This is my first review blog. I hope to make this something everyone will want to read even if they do not agree with me. If they do agree with me that's great too! I'm going to start off with podcasts but I want to do other things as well. It will be a weekly blog post most of the time. I will get into reasons why it might not always be weekly in the next paragraph. As I said I am new at this and I do not claim to be a professional reviewer. Just a fan of podcasts and other things. I would love to be a professional reviewer though, hint, hint big companies.

First off let me tell you about myself, please call me Meeka. I love to write mostly stories but this will be fun for me because it will help me hone my skills. I have a Bachelors in English and minor in Psychology (they called it Focus Study but we all know better). On a sad note the reason sometimes my post might be late is I have Lupus (SLE) and lately been dealing with migraines.  So, there is that piece of bad news, now on to my interests. I am a huge Flash fan (The DC Arrowverse version). I love anything to do with Wizard of Oz, books, movies, tv shows and such.  Once Upon A Time was my favorite show and I still love it but it’s over now. My favorite movie is Tommy Boy. I also love Harry Potter books and movies. I love animals and I have a little dog named Precious. My favorite color is turquoise green. I love to write horror stories and I have told some ideas to my dad and he told me that I am twisted in the head and then corrected himself saying I am bent. Of course, I told him “thank you”. The other reason I might not be weekly all the time is because I work 40+ hours some weeks. I love my job so I do not mind the extra hours even if it’s amusing to see my supervisor apologize about the overtime every week.

So, here is how I am going to do this. I will first off tell you what I thought of the “thing” and what parts or comments made in the podcast or other medium that I liked or disliked. Just a nice review of the whole thing or major parts. Then I will end the post with a gif or more of my overall feelings of the podcast or item I am reviewing. So, words and then pictures.
