THE UNCONTROLLABLE POWER
It’s Tunde Ojo here, and I fear that I may be losing my faith in humanity. In only a few days, I’ve seen more destruction, betrayal, and death than I could have ever imagined witnessing. And, while I am still in Romania, watching what is currently considered extreme circumstances, I know the rest of the world is not far behind.
Declan, the reporter who brought me here and abandoned me in prison, is now dead. One of many victims of the women in the North. But the world most likely has its eyes on America, where Mayor Cleary-Lopez has just become the first politician to use EOD in public. The mayor has firmly supported women with skeins but has denied she has one herself.
Tumblr media
In the American South, the girl who goes by Allie is swiftly becoming a prophet of sorts as she baptizes others with EOD. Power dynamics have been established, and so has the resistance against them. In a country that celebrates its freedom, there is fear about the possibility of this ability remaining unregulated.
Tumblr media
When I first witnessed the Power being used, I was terrified by the harm it could cause. But, for a while during my assignments on EOD, I convinced myself that the fear was attached to my comfortability as a man in this world. Now I know that I should be afraid. We should all be afraid. This is Tunde Ojo, signing off for now. Please protect yourselves.

ABUSE OF THE POWER
It’s Tunde Ojo, and I've just been released from jail in Romania. I was being held in President Viktor Moskolev’s mansion after my identity was revealed to the ruthless dictator during an interview. Before the guards took me away, I revealed the truth to First Lady Tatiana Moskolev. Her sister is alive and leading the women in the North.
Tumblr media
I’ve seen how Romania is reacting to women holding the Power, experimenting on and disposing of them like they are testing mice, and it makes me physically ill. But there have been some more notable developments in other countries. In the American South, Allie was apparently blessed by God with an advanced version of the Power, allowing her to perform such acts as making people bend at her will.
Tumblr media
Meanwhile, in London, another girl named Roxy–who has become notorious for challenging Allie and her followers– has been seen using her EOD with a precision that most with a skein find impossible to master. It’s almost as if the most powerful are presenting themselves as mentors, establishing hope for stability with this evolution.
Tumblr media
Whether or not people choose to accept it, the Power is in our world–and it’s here to stay. As the weeks pass and more women develop the Power, it’s harder to remember a time without the organ. A time when it seemed like the patriarchy could run unopposed forever. But humanity as we knew it is now just a distant dream. Follow for updates on how we continue to navigate this reality.

SKEIN'S DISRUPTION
It’s Tunde Ojo and, for the safety of all involved, I cannot disclose my current location. What I can say, with much certainty, is that we should all prepare for a wave of revolutions. As the next assignment in my investigation of the Power, I’ve been sent to cover one of the strongest oppositions to the patriarchy thus far.
Tumblr media
Some of you may have already heard of General Zoia–once a victim of sex slavery, now the leader of a ruthless upbringing that’s been activated by EOD. Few men in the Carpathia region, now the headquarters of the rebellion, have been spared. And those who have must be lucky to live another day in this new age, even when it comes to surrendering the life they once knew.
During my conversation with General Zoia, one of the many things that were made abundantly clear to me was that these women are working to secure the one thing the rest of the world failed to provide: safety. They want it for themselves, for other women, for their children, for all that know their pain. And, while a part of me is filled with happiness and pride for them, another part is afraid for my own protection.
Tumblr media
With the Power in play, does securing their own survival mean taking away someone else’s? In theory, revolution brings justice to those who have been wronged their whole life. That may not necessarily mean that when a new normal presents itself, others will face the same fear and uncertainty that women with skeins once did. I hope to be back with more updates for you soon.

RESISTANCE TO THE POWER
Tunde Ojo here, writing to say that I wish that I didn’t expect what is now taking place. Upset with the turn of global events and the evolution of womankind, misogynists are fanning the flames of frustrated men across the world, essentially building a following of radicalized women-haters.
Tumblr media
This past week, we saw an extreme effect of severely sexist internet personalities like UrbanDox. During the campaign announcement of Mayor Cleary-Lopez, a man took matters into his own hands, lighting himself on fire in protest of women. While that is the most radical incident we’ve seen so far, UrbanDox continues to spread misinformation and encourage resistance.
Men have threatened their female bartenders with tasers, are preaching about the superiority of the male sex, and have begun to villainize all women for something out of their control. Evolution has moved against their favor, so they’ve decided they need to prove themselves by any means possible.
Tumblr media
Although Mayor Clear-Lopez hopes to become a Senator and secure the safety and wellbeing of people with the Power, she faces opposition from several angles. She is essentially running to secure the equality of women in a country that has yet to settle on what that equality looks like. But if there’s one thing voters love, it’s passion. And she has a lot of it. I’ll be updating my blog on her campaign and the rest of the world’s adjustment to this change.

EVOLUTION AND REVOLUTION
It’s Tunde Ojo with another update. By now, most of the world has learned the truth about what’s happening. Teen girls have developed skein–an organ located along the collarbone–that gives them the ability to send out electrical power surges, or EOD. We also know that this ability can be activated in older women.
Tumblr media
While in Seattle, I had the pleasure of interviewing Mayor Cleary-Lopez, who is known as the first politician to be transparent about the Power. Cleary-Lopez expanded on her opinions, sharing that people with EOD should have body autonomy as they deserve for other areas of health and wellbeing.
In other parts of the world, girls are taking that self-determination for themselves. Younger girls are transferring the Power and activating the skein in other women, igniting the flame of many revolutions. But by what means are they willing to conquer the forces that have oppressed them for centuries?
One thing I know for certain is that this is the dawn of a new day. With the evolution of this new organ, the traditional threats to women no longer hold the same weight. That being said, it’s inevitable that new threats will replace them. It’s obvious to me that they will be strongly and viciously opposed by the Power. Follow along for more on how skeins are changing life as we know it.

OUR NEW REALITY
It’s Tunde Ojo, here with a development in the situation. Across the world, there have been reports of teen girls developing the Power. While strength and control vary from individual to individual, it is rooted in the same form of energy: electricity.
Tumblr media
Societal institutions of every size– homes, schools, local governments– are beginning their descent into chaos. I’ve seen countries lock their girls up for accidentally using this ability, binding their hands together in shock-proof gloves. Many officials are saying the same thing: the Power is a hoax, and that videos depicting girls using them are just examples of motion picture-level editing.
Tumblr media
But there is one official unafraid to discuss our new reality. Seattle’s Mayor Cleary-Lopez has confirmed that what is happening is real and that we need to protect these girls. Soon, this will be an accepted part of our world. Some countries will work to protect these girls and those with no powers. And others… It’s difficult not to think about what nations that are already suppressing their women could do at this time.
Whatever may happen, I will find a way to keep you all updated, even on the things that governments are actively trying to hide from us. Follow for more.

THE POWER IS RISING
Tumblr media
It’s Tunde Ojo and I have an answer to one of my many questions. The unanticipated power surges happening in nearly every country are not a coincidence. And this juju is not just something happening in Nigeria. At this point, I cannot consider this magic.
Tumblr media
In the UK, people have witnessed lightning-like occurrences that have developed out of nowhere. In the US, planes have malfunctioned with no real warning and electrical poles continue to fail unexpectedly. The common denominator? Teen girls. As a global citizen, I’m concerned about our safety. All of us.
But as a reporter, I must be honest and say that I am intrigued. The Power, the only name I can call it by, has the ability to change the world. While we’re watching the beginning of whatever this may be, what could happen if these powers go uncontrolled? Could this mean a complete reversal of society? The disruption of centuries-long power dynamics?
Tumblr media
I know we are not oblivious to the fact that the rich, influential, and malevolent could use the Power for their personal and political gain. The world as we know it could be changing. I’ll report back with updates when I can. Please follow to stay informed. And, wherever you are, please stay alert and aware.

SOMETHING IS HAPPENING
It’s Tunde Ojo reporting from Lagos, and something strange is happening across the world. I’ve seen videos of unexpected power surges blowing up utility poles and rebellion symbols left on cars and buildings. But none of this compares to what I myself have witnessed.
Tumblr media
I was spying on what I thought was a secret juju meeting, something a lot of Nigerians are warned about as children. But let me tell you, nothing my parents told me about was as shocking–or as tangible–as this.
My friend Ndudi was the victim of an electrocution attack by one of the juju girls. It’s almost as if she sent lightning out from her hand, aiming at me but finding Ndudi’s face instead. You could see the spark in its entirety, from her palm to its unfortunate target
Tumblr media
I don’t know how this is possible. I don’t know how this could be connected to situations in other countries. But I can feel it. A shift, a change, a reality-altering event. Wherever you are, whoever you are, know this: something is coming. Follow me for more updates.
