Eri flinched ever so slightly, keeping a blank face. She had to act like she knew where they were, at least, so she didn't seem like an idiotic liar. Pulling over her coat, she looked around, still surrounded by thickened fog. There really wasn't anything to see, other than the man before her and the road they stood on.
'Maybe...If I just point in a random direction, we should end up somewhere, right?'
"It...seems..I cannot identify the street we are on. I must've misunderstood where we were...But..."
She extended he finger to the left of her, the direction where she came from. At least she thought that much. If it was where she had ran from here, her tower wasn't far away from this direction and they could get out of this blasted fog, hopefully curing her throbbing head.
"I believe...my tower stands over there, we could take refuge...."
She prayed they wouldn't get themselves more lost, though knowing her luck, she would end up in another district. She took a deep breath, looking back at Simon.
"Follow me..."
Simon sighed in relief, at least someone knew where they were, or so he thought. He looked down and said,
"It’s alright if you d-don’t want to move, though it’s not very safe just sitting out in the open…" Simon paused for a moment then inquired,
"Do you know which street we’re on? I think that if we manage to find the street signs, we might be able to find our way around after you feel like doing anything… or something like that."
Simon glanced around, still on the lookout for anything unsavory and perhaps something that could help him in any way, shape or form. He glanced back and added,
"If that’s alright with you t-that is…"

She blinked at the stranger, stepping forward to see his features. She took a deep breath, composing herself again. She looked up at him, nodding slowly.
"I was...slightly startled, that's all...."
She said quietly, in a harsh sort of tone. She folded her arms, looking around whilst only seeing thick fog. She held tightly to a bag of some sorts, clinging on to it for dear life, it seemed. She was rather small.
"I'm really not lost...why...would you think that...?"
She was an awfully horrible liar, looking around anxiously. The fog only seemed to grow thicker, along with the pain in her head.
"We can...team up or something, though, since...it seems as if the tower has disappeared...I'm not feeling too up too anything, this is quite a bother..."
After managing to loose whatever hellish thing that he had heard, Simon realized he had lost his vague knowledge of where he might have been. Wonderful. He squinted through the fog, trying to make out any familiar landmarks or something that could help him on his way.
He didn’t see anything familiar, but he managed to make out the figure of what looked like a person. Simon inched forward, trying to make sure that they were what he assumed and not anything out to kill him, and tapped their back. The figure turned around, jumping a good ways away from him.
"Ah, sorry, I should have said something so that you would have known I wasn’t one of those things…" Simon mumbled apologetically, wringing his hands and attempting to keep a stutter out of his voice, "Are you lost too?"

Eri, by now, must have been very far away from the tower, for fear of the monster that she could've sworn was there. Her head throbbed, and she knew she needed to find at least some building to shelter her, or this developing disease could get much, much worse.
Being extremely cautious, she made her way through the fog with no avail. She sighed, almost worriedly, before feeling something on her back. She jumped away, spinning around. It was a human as far as she could see. Hopefully. She only stared, not knowing what to do.

Event Log - 1
Eri had been walking aimlessly around the base of her tower, holding the gas mask tightly to her face. She despised being locked into a small space, such as her room, and ignored the warnings of supposed 'terrifying' monsters roaming near. She didn't fear of obtaining the deadly sickness slithering along with the fog, although she was bound to catch it anytime soon. She didn't believe she could get it though, and kept walking.
She stopped walking, only to sit down on the curb while scanning the area quietly. She couldn't see anything. The fog was extremely thick. Eri looked around dazedly, shaking her head slowly. Her head hurt. Somthing was wrong. She again ignored her pain, staying in the midst of the dangerous fog. She bit her lip slightly, looking around once again. Her eyes darted around, feeling as if someone was watching her. She held the gasmask tightly.
"..."
She kept her breathing quiet. Her head was throbbing now, and something she could not see was watching her, waiting. Waiting for something. Something had gone wrong.

Nightingale City's Event starter
It didn’t happen all that suddenly.  Rather, one could say it crept up on everyone.   It all started with the fog appearing in the rich district and some citizens of the working one talking about something weir happening with the lake. Some who could sense more than others started muttering about it being enchanted and the rumour spread fast. The water from taps turned weird in taste and those who drank it would feel sick soon after, same with those who spent too much time in the fog. Fever, throwing up, hallucinations, outbursts of anger… But all in all, it just seemed like a spreading sickness. Gas masks were distributed, public announcement warning about the water made. People kept a safe distance from the lake.   And then, bit by bit, everything started changing, and the world accelerated all of a sudden.   The first few cases have been noticed in the working district, but it’s not like the rich part of the city was left far behind.  They emerged from the fog and from around the lake, twisted and repulsive - and definitely not friendly.   If this was not enough, it began to snow. If you check the calendar, it’s till not even Autumn, yet there’s snow covering the streets and the temperature drops.   Action was immediate. Gates between districts have been closed and people either locked themselves in in hopes of holding out through whatever the Hell was happening to the city or evacuating to form groups and try to survive together.   The Hidden District has been closed.   The Lower District seemed to be the only place spared for the multiplying monsters and the spreading infection that created them, but it’s been closed as well and those who were there at the time have to remain there.   The Working District is filled with the abominations attacking every living being in sight.   The Rich District is not much better off and although the monsters are more scarce there, one can barely make their way about with the thick fog covering the whole area.
Some who enjoy vintage video games might be joking about old survival horrors and the City of Nightingale turning into Silent Hill…. and ironically, they just might be right.   This isn’t a game though. You won’t get a “Continue?” screen if you die.   So good luck in surviving the upcoming two weeks, citizen, whoever you are… And keep out of the reach of the monsters’ claws, or you just might find yourself joining their ranks.

She slowly nodded, looking away.
"...I can...live with it though, it's what I'm supposed to do. Adapt."

Four smiled as he turned to the girl behind him, “You don’t seem surprised to see a corpse…” He said softly.

"...I would..ask how you left, but it appears my situation would be much more different."
She tried to sound confident, and adult-like, but she failed, as her voice was soft and unclear.

She looked away, taking a shaky breath. She glanced at Four every so often, but she seemed afraid to say anything at all. After a minute of silence, she finally spoke out,
"...I...have been in custody of the government since I was an infant..."
She looked like she wanted to say more, but she stopped herself. She showed her right cheek, showing the oddity of her tattoo.
"...I don't...know why I have this, either."
It was hard to tell if she was lying or not in that sentence, and she didn't even know herself. Her memory was honestly quite boggled, maybe from trauma or some other incident. She didn't know. She never did.

"Trust me...If I could leave, I would..."
She replied quietly. Shyly.

She eyed him, before following along. She nodded, folding her arms,
"Yes. They..don't like me straying too far, so they assigned me there."
She sighed lightly, noticing the slight irritated manner Four had suddenly shown. She eyed him again, then looked away,
"You don't like Rich District?"

His stare made her shift her eyes, crossing her arms. She sighed lightly, only glancing at him,
"...What district are you from? I'm positive you are not from Rich..."
She looked away again, huffing quietly.
