This show is smart, hilarious, and it has incredibly endearing characters. We love each and every one of them. It has such a unique point of view and sharp sense of humor. It's particularly great for podcast fans who want something that isn't horror.

Dr. Jared Hel is a charming and relatable main character. It makes it easy to want to follow his journey through the creepy midwest. This show has a Twin Peaks meets SCP Foundation charm to it.

I love trans voices in audio dramas. I love when trans characters are voiced by trans actors and their voice isn't 100% passing. I love that said characters are never misgendered. I love how their voices sound beautiful and authentic. I love that their voces sound like mine our my friend's.

IT'S FINALLY DONE. TWO WEEKS AND IT'S DONE. oh my god
jaredless image and explanation under the cut! sort of spoilers beware ouuooouueee
so basically when having jared centric thoughts circa halloween i was imagining jared walking into what appears to be a normal storage closet. it is lined, wall to wall, with jars of formaldehyde-preserves human organs and tissues. this is concerning on its own, but moreso when he realizes that all of these come from the same person . you'll never guess who baby (the enclosure needed samples since they couldn't take more from them while the on-field experiment was going on)
