Summary: After an attack by the Masters of Evil, Avengers Mansion is in ruins. Tony has come back from California to help the East Coast team pick up the pieces -- literally. Reasons why I love it:
Feelings realization via discovery of sex toys, it's good stuff. I love the way Tony instantly swoops in to take the fall and save whoever owns the box from the embarrassment of having to admit it. And of course, Steve being a secret afficionado of kink is always lovely. The smut is superb, and the feelings tossed into the mix make me smile like an idiot. I love this fic, and I bet you will too!

This fic is so fucking good. Tony's boyfriend is a dick, but at least he provided him with the opportunity to get fucked by Steve, which he's clearly been desperate for. The whole sex scene is simultaneously hot as hell and completely heart-breaking, because at the end of the day, Tony is not Steve's (although in my mind they do get together after this). I adore this fic, and I bet you will too, so please give it a shot!

fortunately i have only ever heard about this in passing but the idea of people criticizing fics for not being exactly what they want them to be is so funny to me. like with all due respect good sirs [gn] this is not the bespoke zone. nobody is measuring you for this suit. it is off the rack. if it's a good fit then enjoy, if it isn't well then that is a you problem. go get a different suit.

It's flawless, really something. It's Fearless! I'm back with more of the pop star Tony AU! I was originally planning on waiting to post this until May, but today's my research seminar for the analytical chem division and I'm absolutely terrified and most of the people who said they'd be there to support me backed out. It's in four hours and I'm already shaking. So I'm posting this in the hopes that maybe in the next four hours I get some nice comments to cheer me up in case it doesn't go well? 💛💛💛

Tony is thrilled when Maria says that she’s coming to Nashville to see him. He’s always loved his mom, a lot more than he’s ever loved Howard. She was never the kind of mom to sit by his bed when he was sick and wipe his scrapes when he fell, but when she wasn’t busy attending galas with Howard or organizing fundraisers for the Maria Stark Foundation, she used to take him on these adventures out in the countryside, where they could talk and talk and talk (or she would have Jarvis take them on these adventures, while they sat in the backseat).

you know what i'm gonna get sappy for a second bear with me
there are a lot of posts and memes for writers about how hard writing is and how annoying it can be and how dispiriting it can feel when we don't make progress the way we'd like to. and those are true, and relatable, and funny! i've been there!
but maybe it doesn't get said enough in the other direction, so I'm gonna say it: I love writing. i love the process of putting phrases together and testing them for cadence and flow; i love knowing that there is a word for exactly the thing I want to convey, even if I just can't think of it right now, and going onto a thesaurus and being like there she is, that's the one!
but more than anything, I love the ritual of constantly asking myself "okay, and then what happens?" and feeling the same sense of delighted surprise every single time when somehow, a part of me I wasn't consciously aware of knows the answer. that experience, where my brain provides me solutions I didn't know it was working on, feels like a miracle every time. and getting into a productivity groove where I keep knowing the answers is one of the best feelings on the planet.
and sure, sometimes I don't know the answer, and it's hard and unsatisfying and see above about how easy it is to joke about how writing's the pits, but... that just makes it even more special when I'm firing on all cylinders, you know?

I cannot possibly express how amazing it feels to get repeat commenters on a fanfic. When I was writing my first long form fanfic last spring I could have dedicated it to my first reader, that's how inspired I felt that they commented so consistently.
I remember having the slightly hysterical thought that *I* should check to see if *they* had a Kofi so that I could donate to it since they were the reason my fanfic got finished so quickly.
