       she cocked her head to the side.  bellanthe wasn’t too bad,  as far as humans could go.  then again,  the only human whom faryn had ever met before coming to the surface was her mother.  and even then,  she’d always taken after her dwarven father.  no chance for her to do magic,  though.  that much had been made clear early on.  did get bellanthe a few extra points with her.  magic was weird,  but kind of neat,  too.  ❛ the expedition’s camped here for another week.  what’re you thinking about ? ❜

“Oh, I dunno. F’ought someone was gonna show me some cool bones under here. Maybe I didn’t hear her right,” she was fully teasing Faryn as she was wont to do.  It was just another day ending in ‘y’ for the smug necromancer. “F’ink we can wander off from your little expedition?” The latter word sounded awful coming out of her mouth, the pronunciation barely functioning with her extreme Fereldan accent. “Could show you a trick or two for your troubles, y’know.”

They were tucked away in one of the tower blindspots the pair would often use for a moment to themselves. Usually they were subtle enough that no one noticed or grew suspicious of either of their absences, though there might have been one or two close calls. They were exchanging FERVENT kisses, Costia’s body flush with the commander’s, and her hand down the front of her pants.

Eventually, Leksa’s breathing became more rugged. She was aware that her face must be turning flush as well. “ Cos, not now, “ She whispered, trying to remain discreet in their location. In just a short time, the commander was expected to meet with her council and needed to be in the right headspace. Though to be honest, Leksa didn’t make that much of an effort to break free from her lover. “ I have to go-” She tapered off at the end with a whimper, as Costia’s fingers brush against a sensitive spot.  She was at the mercy of the other, with no intention of slinking off now. Sometimes she truly believed her beloved to be an evil genius. So what if she didn’t arrive exactly on time. She would dare anyone to pry about her whereabouts.

In Costia’s defense, Lexa needed a bit of change in her routine from time to time.  The apothecary was convinced that it made her a better leader.  So, today, she hoped to keep her from one of her meetings for just a moment longer -- for purely selfish reasons.  She also supposed that the Commander could do with a little stress relief before meeting with her council.  Two birds, one stone.

“Do you? Before I’ve finished?” she whispered into the crook of Lexa’s neck as her fingers pressed between her folds and against her entrance.  Costia’s teeth briefly caught the sensitive flesh of her lover’s throat then, a quiet albeit teasing laugh settling in the back of her mouth. “If you wish for me to stop...” she trailed off, one finger pressing inside of her, beginning a steady pace while her thumb brushed against Lexa’s clit. “I will. Just say the word, Commander.”

hawkeri studied their hands as kel explained what their previous gesture had meant.  they understood what two individuals being close meant; it was the word ‘dating’ that truly threw them for a loop. “are we not close or dating?” they decided to ask, for clarity’s sake. “if we are not those things, then would you like to be?” the nymph hoped to appease kel, regardless of their own struggles with how those outside of the woods acted. “we have courtship in the forest. is that what you mean when you say ‘dating’?”
