Bubba's rush with death...
For those of you who were not at the Aladdin Jr 2 show in Pomona last Sunday here's the scoop.
The show was running a little late, and on top of that, bubba just got a new/vintage Portable Hammond X5, Vintage Motion Sound rotary speaker, and a stationary Leslie brand Speaker...which takes like 15-20 minutes to set up. By the time we were done setting up, we only had 35 minutes to play our 1 hour set. We didn't have time for a sound check, and bubba's keybaord to hammond levels were off. Midway through the set, Bubba went to fix the levels of his keys and in a sweaty frenzy was ELECTROCUTED by his Motion Sound amp, FLYING off the side of the stage.
He was shaken but ok, returned to his station, and we finished the set without a hitch.
