hi i just want everyone to know that i will never ever EVER be angry with anyone for not replying to my texts even though you’re visibly online and reblogging/posting. i understand that holding a conversation takes a lot more energy and effort than scrolling and posting and that’s 100% okay. take care of yourself first. the whole idea that you HAVE to reply to someone when you’re online is toxic and makes mentally ill people feel as though they are bad friends just because they can’t always reply within minutes.

This is ouch - but this is right.
Nathan had an *amazing* free with no mistakes. Overscored? Yeah. Should his PCS on his short have been lower? Yes. Enough to change the rankings? No - even if you knock off 20, 25 points for PCS + over scoring in general, he’s still in the lead.
To say today was not Yuzu’s day is an understatement. With the errors, his PCS could not be as high as it would have been without them and those errors were incredibly costly on the technical side. As we all saw, he was not in the least bit surprised with his scores and nor should we all be. Whether or not he would have had the score to beat Nathan if he’d gone clean is immaterial at this point - he didn’t and he got a score and a place that was deserved.
And if you think the scores are wrong, don’t hate on the skaters - hate on the judges and the ISU that forced them to skate in these conditions. The skaters are all immensely respectful of one another and you should be too.
