The Loner and The Star 16: Jackson Marchetti (Sex Education)
My POV
Well, I'm hoping this party will help me forget what the fuck just happened. I watched as Otis scurry across the back patio picking up trash.
Hmm, I thought it was gonna be a small get together or something.
I watched as Eric and Rahim walked and then got up to greet them.
"Yo Eric!" I called out.
"Asia! You made it!" Eric greeted.
"Wassgud Rahim?" I greeted with a nod.
"Hello Asia." He greeted back.
"How was the camping trip?" I asked.
Before Eric could answer, Otis appeared up.
"Eric? Hi, I'm going to kill you." Otis announced in a panicked tone.
"Why? I didn't invite this many people." Eric defended. "Is Ola here?" He asked.
Otis snapped his head around.
"Why would Ola be here?" Otis questioned a bit intense. "We've broken up."
Oh, damn I didn't even know. But, eh, it's also not my business.
"Okay, I thought the whole point of this was for you to show Ola that you're chill." Eric stated.
Rahim spoke up.
"Should I get you both drinks?" He offered.
"Yeah, Otis needs a drink." Eric answered as Rahim walked off.
I've decided to walk off while Eric tries to get Otis to chill out.
I'll admit, Sex Kid knows how to throw a decent party.
"Asia!" I heard someone call out.
I turned around to see Maeve, Aimee, and some guy in a wheelchair.
"Ah shit! Maeve! Aimee! What's up!" I yelled as I ran up to them and hugged Aimee.
"Hello miss." The wheelchair guy greeted.
"Oh, Asia this is Issac, Issac this is Asia." Maeve introduced.
"Charmed to meet you, Maeve has mentioned about you before and I'm surprised she has a friend." Issac joked.
Maeve playfully punched him in the shoulder.
"Dickhead." She chuckled out.
"I'll admit, Otis does know how to throw a party." Aimee commented.
"Yeah, I thought it was gonna be a small get together with us, Eric, and his boyfriend." I added in.
"I'm gonna go get us some drinks I'll be right back." Maeve announced as she walked off.
Eh, I'll probably stay here with Aimee and Issac.
Soon as I thought of that, I saw Jackson walking through the door.
...on second thought, I'mma join Maeve in getting those drinks.
Jackson's POV
Once Jackson saw Asia hurrying off he sighed. He then looked at his hand to see that it was officially cast free.
However, Jackson was feeling everything but glad that his hand had healed.
Jackson began to wander around until he was approached by one of the theater kids.
"Hey Jackson! Are you looking forward to dress rehearsal tomorrow?" He asked.
Before he could answer, a jock walked up to them.
"Mate, he's not doing that gay Shakespeare shit." He insulted. "Look, he's back in the pool." He adds as the theater guy walked off.
The jock then walked off to go eyeball Ruby, leaving Jackson alone.
"Dex is here." He heard Viv's voice say.
Jackson turned to greet Viv.
"Um, hi." He spoke.
"I don't have time for hi." Viv replied in a frantic tone. "I know need to go talk to him but I don't know how."
"Well, just go up to him and say "Hey Dex" and ask him about his day, or a game that he likes. or another nerdy-type thing you lot like talking about." Jackson suggested. "Then you keep chatting and see where the night takes you. Easy." He adds. "Be yourself, alright? And you'll be fine." Jackson assured her.
Viv then looked down at his arm.
"I just realized that your cast is gone." She points out. "That's great news."
"Yeah, back to prison for me." Jackson joked. "I'm joking, go get your man." He chuckled out.
When Viv walked off, Jackson sighed.
"Yeah...back to prison indeed." He thought to himself as he walked off.
My POV
"So, lemme get this straight: Jackson saw you at a store, getting ready to buy a bullet vibrator and some condoms?" Maeve asked.
"Yeah...fuck my life." I groaned out.
Maeve snickered.
"Bro that ain't funny." I scolded. "I bitched out as soon as I dropped the shit after he saw me." I added.
"It is a little." Maeve giggled.
"Anyway, how's you and Otis?" I asked. "I heard that he and Ola broke up so I thought y'all two would be talking or something." I added.
"We...haven't spoken much." Maeve muttered out. "I've been more or less hanging with Issac lately." She told.
"I'm guessing things have been awkward since you've admitted to liking him huh?" I asked.
Maeve nodded.
"Hey, at the end of the day the elephant is not gonna stomp out the room until y'all address it." I preached.
Maeve smirked.
"Well, I'll try to address the elephant in the room, IF you tell Jackson how you feel about him." Maeve bartered.
My heart began to race after hearing that.
"Good luck." Maeve chuckled as she walked off.
Okay...I can do this...I can do this.
I looked around the area to find Jackson. However, I didn't find him but I did find Viv talking to Dex.
"Huh, I'll be damned I didn't expect her the type to step foot into a party." I thought to myself.
When Dex walked off, I walked up to Viv.
"Yo Viv, I never expected you to be at a party." I spoke.
"Oh, well, I mean, Dex was here so I didn't want to miss an opportunity to...talk to him, get to know him...you know." Viv spoke in a nervous tone.
"Have you seen Jackson?" I asked.
"A couple minutes ago." Viv replied. "I think he did wander off somewhere."
"Thanks." I thanked as I walked off.
"Where are you Jackson?" I thought to myself.
It's honestly about time I stop holding shit inside and let it all out.
Wait...why did that sound wrong?
Jackson's POV
Jackson was in a room with his anxiety spiked up.
He could hear his heart racing really fast and his breathing became rapid within seconds.
Jackson then looked at himself in the mirror and felt nothing but anger rising in his body as he looked at his hand. His hand instantly became a fist as he was about to charge it at the mirror but halted once he heard the door open.
"Jackson?" He heard a familiar voice say.
Jackson turned to see Asia.
"Out of all people...she's the last person who I want to see at my worst." He thought to himself.
My POV
My confidence completely evaporated when saw Jackson in an angry state of mind.
"Jackson? Are you okay?" I asked.
Jackson turned his back towards me, as if he doesn't want to be seen in this state.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
Jackson sighed before he spoke.
"I did it to myself." He began. "I put my hand under the weight because I wanted it to stop, and then it did stop and it felt amazing, but now...it's starting again, and it feels like my head's about to explode if it doesn't stop." He explained. "I just need it to stop, like..."
Jackson then exhaled with force as I closed the door to give us some privacy.
"Stop what exactly?" I asked.
"This fucking pressure." Jackson growled with his back turned.
I could hear it in his voice that he was on the verge of crying.
To be honest...I know what it feels like to be pressured...
To feel like it's required to be the best, to be on top...
Because...if you're not doing anything, then what you'll amount to in life?
"She's not going to get any better with this behavior!"
"She's just a child! She's just going through a hard time adapting to the new change!"
"And if she keeps this up, nobody will want anything to do with her nor will she amount to anything in life."
"How can you say that about your own granddaughter?"
Those last words echoed into my head as I stepped up to Jackson. I wrapped my arms around him and placed my head on his back then sighed.
"It's okay." I spoke out, listening to his heavy breathing. "But, you can't keep hurting yourself." I added. "What are going to say happened this time?" I asked.
"That I got into a fight." Jackson guessed. "But I didn't do it so...and I'm not going to do because I know it's dumb."
Jackson then walked off.
"I don't know why I'm telling you all this, sorry." He apologized as he sat on the bed.
"Jackson, have you told your moms?" I asked as I crouched down in front of him.
"No, it's stupid and pointless." Jackson replied. "They'll never understand."
"It's not stupid and pointless, but what is is self harm and it can lead to attempts of taking your own life." I spoke as my voice began to crack.
Fuck...why am I beginning to cry?
...Maybe because I see myself in Jackson a bit.
"I gotta get better."
"I can't fail!"
"I just want my grandma to show me the same attention as my brother!"
"I can't quit! I need to do this for everyone!"
"I REFUSE TO FUCKING FAIL!"
"I don't want you to take your life Jackson." I sobbed out. "You need to get professional help."
"I don't need professional help." Jackson denied. "I'll just tell them that I'm not doing what they want me to do anymore."
I grabbed both of his hands as mine began to tremble.
"I just don't want you to keep self harming yourself...please." I whispered out as tears began to fall.
"Why do you care? In fact, why do you still stick around me when you see me as the star of the school?" Jackson asked.
I looked up at him with a frown on my face.
"You think I'm fucking with you because you the star athlete of the school? That you're popular? Jackson, I like you because you're a nice guy outside of those things." I admitted as I wiped away my tears. "I don't give a damn if you're a popular jock, or not, because at the end of the day that shit's going to be gone by the time you leave high school. What matters is how you treat people overall outside of school." I added. "I care about you because I like you, Jackson! You're a really sweet guy regardless of the social status."
I felt like this was the wrong time to admit my love feels for him...but man, it was in the heat of the moment.
Jackson then looked up at me.
"You...you really mean that?" Jackson asked.
"Yes bruh, why the fuck would I lie?" I answered.
Jackson didn't say anything as he stood up.
Jackson looked at me for a couple seconds before I felt myself being lifted off the floor and engulfed into a big hug. I felt his whole body trembling as I felt hot tears drip onto my neck. All I can do is hug him back then I heard the door open.
"Guys, you gotta rescue me from De-"
Viv cut herself off once she saw us.
"What's going on?" Viv asked.
We both looked at her with tears in our eyes.
"Just...going through a rough time." Jackson muttered out.
I motioned for Viv to come over as she walked over and joined in on the hug.
We just stayed like that for what felt like minutes.
Fuck man...just...fuck.
Aimee's POV
Aimee was sitting on the couch with Steve as a song came on.
"Oh my God, Steve, this is our song." Aimee stated.
"We don't have a song." Steve pointed out.
"Oh, maybe it was me and Kyle's song." Aimee spoke. "But it's still a good song." She commented as she got up to dance.
While she was dancing, Aimee began to look into the crowd. All of a sudden, her heart dropped. Aimee looked into the crowd to see the same man who assaulted her on the bus. The man then began to walk towards her with a creepy smile on his face.
"Blue jacket..." Aimee whimpered out as she ran off with Steve hurrying after her.
"Aimee! Wait! Where are you going?" Steve asked.
My POV
After we all got the tears out we headed back downstairs to see Otis in the center, swinging and swaying.
I thought to myself,
"Ah shit, little dude's drunk as hell."
"Otis, that's straight vodka." Eric pointed out.
When we walked towards him, Otis smiled.
"Jackson, you came." He spoke.
Damn! I can smell the vodka from right here.
"I didn't think you would come to my party." Otis slurred out. "I was gonna cook a chicken, but I didn't." He adds. "Or did I?"
Me and Jackson looked at each other then back at Otis.
"Why do you hate me?" Otis asked Jackson.
"You do know Maeve broke up with me because she's in love with you, right?" Jackson pointed out. "And you're still not with her."
Otis stood there silent.
"Enjoy the clean up, yeah?" Jackson said as he walked off.
So, she still hasn't told him yet huh?
I watched as Otis stumbled his way to Maeve and Issac.
"Hey!" He exclaimed. "I'm Otis, some call me O-Town." He greeted Issac.
"No they don't." Maeve denied.
"I'm sure they do." Issac defended.
"Maeve and I aren't really speaking, but I can talk to you." Otis slurred out. "And we can dance 'cause dancing isn't talking." He adds.
Otis then grabbed a bottle of vodka as he began to dance.
Damn, how much this dude drink?
"Drunk Otis is a monster." Eric commented.
"Ya think?" I added in. "I think he's a bigger asshole than how he was sober." I thought to myself.
I looked over to see Eric and Rahim getting all lovey dovey so I left them alone.
Damn...everyone is hooking up or has a someone...but me.
Speaking of which, I let out my feelings...but now I don't know how Jackson feels.
My attention then turned towards...Adam!?
I saw him looking at Eric and Rahim and then thought,
"Uh oh, please don't mess with Eric while he's with his man."
I acted fast and escorted Adam out the house.
"Asia, wait I need to talk to Er-"
"No! You're not going to bully Eric while he's with his boyfriend!" I scolded. "Look, we cool and all but don't fuck with someone I care about!"
"Eric...has a boyfriend?" Adam asked.
"Yeah? Why do you care?" I asked.
"He used to come by my window...and now he's stopped." Adam replied.
"What does that have to do with anything?" I asked confused.
"I don't know what I did wrong?" Adam asked.
"Is that even a question?" I asked. "Dude, Eric told me that you've made him feel unsafe by bullying him for years, Adam. He said that you were one of the main reason he wasn't kind to himself." I added. "You really think he's going to talk to you now? That he's going to believe that you've changed all of a sudden?"
Adam stood there silent as he takes all of the verbal licks I was giving him.
"You oughta be ashamed of yourself man, and Eric has worked hard to love himself and he doesn't want to be put back into that place again where he has to hide hims-"
"I'm scared." Adam spoke cutting me off.
I looked at him confused.
"Scared? Of what?" I asked.
"I think I like Eric." Adam admitted.
My eyes grew wide.
WHAT!?
"And I think I'm bisexual." Adam added.
I stood there as the guilt began to rise in me.
Man, I just attacked this dude while he's already feeling down.
"I feel like everyone hates me." Adam claims. "That the whole world is against me." He adds.
Damn bruh...
"Well, Eric did once say it's hard to like someone who doesn't like themselves." I stated. "I don't think it was implied towards you but you get where I'm going with this."
Adam nodded as he sighed then walked off.
Once he left, I thought to myself.
"Everyone's going through it today."
When I walked back into the house I found Otis standing on top of the couch.
"What's going on?" I asked Eric.
"I don't know but Otis just grabbed everyone's attention." Eric replied.
"I have an announcement to make." Otis announced. "Can we turn the music down? I wanna say something." Otis requested as the music began to quiet down.
"This is not going to end well." I muttered to myself.
"So...this is Ola." Otis introduced as he pointed towards Ola. "I don't know if you know her, she's well, quiet little and...funny, and interesting, and pretty, and she was my girlfriend until she told me I can't see Maeve anymore." He explained.
"Should someone get him down?" One girl asked.
"Nah, this is the most interesting thing so far, so don't ruin it." Anwar chuckled as he continued to film Otis on his phone.
"Now we all know Maeve, scary Maeve." Otis continued. "You know, she's not actually scary, she's pretending." He adds with a laugh.
There was scattered chuckles around the area.
"Anyway...Maeve told me that she liked me, okay? And I like Maeve" Otis went on. "I like Maeve a lot, a lot more than I liked Ola."
My eyes went wide at that statement.
"Ohhhh shit, he's making shit a lot worse for himself." I thought to myself.
"Otis, Otis get off-" Eric ordered, trying to defuse the situation but Otis continued cutting Eric off.
"But I was trying to be a good boyfriend, so I said to Maeve, "Sorry, I can't see you anymore", and then, Ola dumped me." Otis explained.
I looked at Ola, who looked like she was on the verge of tearing up.
"Otis bro, get down, you've said enou-"
I was cut off.
"Yeah, it's confusing, I was confused." Otis continued. "But I thought probably a good thing 'cause I just really wanted to be with Maeve." He admitted.
Wait, so he basically dated Ola in the first place because he couldn't be with Maeve? Was Ola basically a rebound or a side chick or something?
"And I didn't really want to be with Ola, and then I realized Maeve Wiley just likes playing with people's feelings, and she doesn't really care about anyone else." Otis insulted.
Me and Eric looked at each other then pushed pass people to get to Otis.
"Like, she brought this...man with her." Otis states referring to Issac. "I don't know, probably just here to make me jealous." He pointed out. "Definitely didn't work."
"It definitely did." Issac whispered to Maeve, who was standing there looking pissed off.
"All in all, I think she's probably the most selfish person I've met." Otis admitted.
Bruh...you should be the last person talking about someone being selfish.
"And I think it's good that I'm not going out with either of them because I think I deserve a whole lot more." Otis finished. "Thank you for coming, good night. Actually no, continue on. Music on please!
By the time Otis finished me and Eric got him down from the couch.
However, damage was done a long time ago. I looked over at Maeve to see tears in her eyes as Ola stormed off.
"She's welcome to him." I heard her mutter out.
"You're an arsehole." Maeve scolded to Otis as she stormed off.
Looks like Otis didn't give a shit as he began to dance.
Well, Boyfriend of the Year goes to Otis Milburn! The guy who only dated a girl he doesn't even fully like just because he couldn't get with the girl he did like.
"Wow, what a shitshow." I heard Jackson comment.
"Oh, dude, I thought you left." I spoke.
"Actually, I decided to stay here for a bit." Jackson stated. "Viv did leave an hour ago, she did tell me to tell you she said "Bye"." He adds.
"Actually, I'm about to leave as well...there was more tension than good vibes here." I announced.
"Um, can I walk you home?" Jackson asked.
"Uhh, if you want to." I replied as we walked out the house together.
While we were walking, Jackson then spoke up.
"So...about what you said...about you liking me..." Jackson began.
"I know I shouldn't have revealed that during a time like that and it was in the heat of the moment." I quickly explained.
Jackson chuckled.
"It's okay, I'm not mad." Jackson assured me.
"Look, I know you don't like me like that, so let's just drop it. I dodged.
"Who said I didn't feel the same way?" Jackson asked.
Wait...what?
"You...feel the same?" I asked.
"Well, when I first met you, you were kind of like Maeve." Jackson commented. "Minus what Otis had just said about her." He adds. "But I felt like you like being around me because you don't see me as the star athlete or the Head boy." Jackson explained.
"Yeah because when you look at it, popularity is pretty pointless since sometimes you gotta dick ride others in order for them to dick ride you back. Sometimes you don't even have to dick ride in order to gain validation." I explained as Jackson chuckled. "It honestly almost makes me glad I was seen as the "Weird Kid" growing up."
"Well, I don't think you're weird but...pretty introverted like a...cat almost." Jackson compared.
"Eh, I've always compared myself to a cat since I'm what I like to call myself an extroverted introvert where I enjoy socializing but I mostly like my moments of solitude." I described.
"By the way, can I ask you something?" Jackson asked. "If you're okay with answering this."
"Yeah? What?" I asked.
"Was...that vibrator and box of condoms you left at the store for you?" Jackson asked.
I choked on my spit after hearing that.
Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! I was hoping he wasn't going to ask about that.
"I...erm...okay yes, that was for me." I admitted with a defeated sigh. "Maeve advised me once I told her that...you...I..."
"That you were in heat?" Jackson asked.
"Don't say it like I'm an actual animal!" I scolded as my face turned red as Jackson laughed. "But yeah...I...was horny." I admitted.
"Oh, there's nothing to be ashamed in that, I mean I feel flattered, but at the end of the day women are sexual creatures as well." Jackson stated.
"I'm aware but society makes a big double standard deal out men and women's sex lives." I sighed out.
"Hey, just do what makes you feel...satisfied." Jackson chuckled as he snaked his arm around my waist.
My face began to heat up when he did that.
"Hey, we're almost here." Jackson stated as he pointed at my house.
Awww, I honestly didn't want this walk to end.
When we stopped in front of my porch, we turned to each other.
"Well, I guess this is good night." I spoke out.
"Yeah...I'll see you in class on Monday, yeah?" Jackson asked.
"Yeah..." I dragged out.
Then we just stared at each other.
I don't know why but...we then leaned in sync but I was aiming to kiss his cheek while he was aiming to kiss my lips.
"O-oh, were you aiming for-"
"I'm sorry I didn't know you want a kiss kiss-"
"No, no, that's my bad I should've asked...um..."
I kissed his chin then looked away blushing.
"Um, good night." I squeaked out as I went inside.
Well...I got a kiss...sort of.
Jackson's POV
Jackson walked off with a smile on his face.
When Jackson got home, he let his moms know that he was home.
"I know I'm past curfew." He announced.
However, Jackson good mood went away quick when saw Viv, and both of his moms in the living room. He immediately figured out what was going on.
"I had to tell them." Viv spoke out.
Jackson frowned as he walked off, ignoring everyone's calls for him to come back.
"Fuck!" Jackson thought to himself.

Growing Up Nuerodivergent
Alright, I know it's not Autism Awareness Month (writing in May) but I was watching a video by Cypopps about being the weird kid in the class and I wanna say it hits way too close to home. So, to cut to the chase, I'm on the spectrum.
Growing up, if you were to ask me if I ever had a weird kid in the classroom, I would've replied, "I was the weird kid". Grade school was not my best time since I was the butt of many people's jokes. One of the things about me is that I can easily react negatively to stuff that I don't like and I guess the kids in my class picked up on that almost immediately. One girl in particular did take pleasure in bullying me. One of the incidents I remembered was when I was in 7th or 8th grade. I had my hair done in crochet braids. So, our school had us use drawstring backpacks during our junior high years and the weaving on the drawstring bags did match how the weave in my hair looks.
This girl thought it'll be funny to play a small prank by pretending that she cut my hair. All I heard was a snip and looked at the corner of my eye to see what I thought was a tuft of my hair and I grew pissed. All she did was laugh. Part of me wanted to punch her but I didn't want to get in trouble. I just stormed out the classroom. The Science/Social Studies teacher did come out to tell me that it was just a joke. Bro, I don't care if it was a joke I don't like people bothering me, especially when it comes to my hair.
Another small incident was during music class. The same girl, another girl, and one boy all were sitting behind me and they were taking turns tugging on one of my braids and whenever I turned around they'll act as if they didn't do another or they'll quickly point the fingers at each other. It was to a point where I screamed at them and they laughed. My reactions would range from yelling to a mental breakdown where I would cry. I honestly lost count of how many times I mentally broke down because of kids bullying me and how many times the school advisor had to take me to her office for me to calm me down.
However, it wasn't just the kids in the class who would treat me differently, it was also one of my family members. My grandmother's way of treating me would be equivalent to how an adult would talk to or treat a toddler. For example, if I were to do or say something that's out of the norm, my grandmother would be like, "Oh she doesn't know any better" or something like that. One thing she would definitely make me feel insecure about is the way I talk. Whenever I'm excited and hyped up, I'm a rapid talker. Shoot, I'm pretty sure I would've made Eminem proud if I were to sing his song Rap God. What my grandmother will do is that she'll put on this over the top, slurred, gibberish speech and say that I like sound like that and to speak normally. Whether she knows it or not, that honestly did bother me whenever she does that, so whenever someone else mimics the way I talk, I would get upset.
Another thing that really sets me off is sudden loud noises. Stuff like thunder, or firetruck sirens, hell, I used to cover my ears whenever I flush the toilet as a kid. Overall, it's mainly loud noises that'll catch me off guard and scare me. Even if it's not sudden, loud noises overall would put me under pressure real easily if I'm trying to focus on one thing. Which, explains why I don't do well if one person or many people is surrounding me or hovering over me while I'm trying to do something. Another thing when it comes to loud noises is that I'm really bad at dealing with people angrily yelling at me since it'll also catch me off guard as well. This does result in me crying on multiple occasions. The fact that I also have anxiety would feel like a double whammy. Seriously, whenever I'm put under pressure, it feels like a lot of things: That I'm responsible for one's reaction depending on how well I do on a task, if I'm being timed it'll feel like I'm not going to be done on time and I wind up rushing, and the worst feeling is that it feels like everyone is out to get you just for being there, just for existing.
Speaking of tasks, I do like do things at my own pace. If it doesn't feel like I'm being forced to do so, then yeah I'll take pleasure in doing the task. One of the main things I enjoy doing is cleaning since I usually do it out of boredom. If my mom isn't telling me to do this or clean that then I'll do it. Plus, I'm pretty sure my mom likes to come home to see stuff clean. However, when it comes to stuff like school, that's the only time where I actually do gotta do the task if I wanna pass the class whether I want to or not. Hey, I care about my grades too much.
Another thing about being on the spectrum is that I'm pretty blunt with what I say but I'm also bad at reading the room. Usually me having no filter is quite comical to many people, but I would have the hardest time knowing when a person is joking with me or if they're being serious. Like, I wouldn't know until they actually say it. Speaking of people, I wanna say I hang around a certain group of people or one person because I've grown familiar with them or I feel comfortable around them. Mainly the group I hang with are usually people who make me laugh and that I know full well is joking most of the time.
I gotta say, now that I'm older, I've gotten used to many things whether it's me being the butt of jokes or being called weird or crazy...but at the end of the day, I'm just the another nuerodivergent person.

The Loner and The Star 15: Jackson Marchetti (Sex Education)
Jackson's POV
Jackson came out of his bedroom to see Viv. Today was the day he and Viv rehearse some Shakespeare lines. Jackson rushed Viv into his bedroom to avoid any further embarrassment from his mothers then shut the door.
"What was that about?" Viv asked.
"Yeah, I haven't told them about the play yet." Jackson admitted. "My mum wouldn't get it." He adds. "Anyway, talk to me about Dex."
Both chuckled.
"What do your friends think of him?" Jackson asked.
"I don't have time for friends, but I can be more social once I get in to university." Viv replied as she sat down.
"You do know a boyfriend is like a friend, right?" Jackson pointed out with a chuckle.
"Yeah, but Dex is busy too." Viv states. "Our schedules are very compatible." She adds.
"Okay, all right, tell me about him." Jackson requested.
"Well..." Viv began.
My POV
Well, I guess everyone's doing their own thing this weekend. Jackson has Viv over at his house for rehearsal, Aimee is out doing something, Otis and Eric are with Otis' dad on a camping trip, and Maeve is with this guy Issac at a retirement home. So, it's just me, myself, and I today.
I flubbed my lips as I stared at the ceiling. My eyes then began to feel heavy as I drifted off to sleep.
All of a sudden...I felt a pair of lips press onto my neck. I then felt a hand slip down to my skirt then winced when the pair of lips bit my neck.
Wait a damn minute!
My eyes popped open to see a shirtless Jackson hovering over me with a lustful look in his eyes.
"J-Jackson! How did you get into my house!?" I exclaimed.
Jackson pressed a warm finger on my lips, silencing me.
"I had to come see you...I can't stop thinking about you." Jackson muttered out as he began to kiss my neck.
I let out quiet moans as I began to squirm at his affection.
"You don't understand how much my body aches for you, how much I want to ravish you the minute I lay eyes on you." Jackson mumbled against my neck.
"Jackson..." I gasped out. "I feel a little hot..." I moaned out.
"Do you want me to stop?" Jackson asked as he pressed his hips against mine.
"Please don't stop." I whined out.
"Very well then..." Jackson chuckled out.
My eyes popped open as I shot up. Jackson was no where in sight as my whole entire body felt like it was on fire. I then felt something wet between my legs.
Bro, did I just cum from having a wet dream?
"Okay, I really need to do something about this." I sighed as I got up.
Not gonna lie, part of me wished that the dream was real.
Jackson's POV
Jackson was walking with Viv across the bridge.
"He's not going to text me." Viv doubted.
"He's going to text you and you're going to make him wait at least two and a half hours for a response." Jackson assured her.
"Why so much game playing?" Viv asked.
"Only at the start." Jackson corrected. "Eventually, you will just like each other for your personalities." He adds.
"When have you ever liked anyone for their personality?" Viv harshly asked.
Once she asked that, Asia came to mind.
"I did." Jackson replied, not trying to reveal who he was referring to. "I liked someone quite a lot."
Viv scoffed.
"Yeah, I'm sure that you're pining over Maeve Wiley's love of feminist literature." Viv rudely states. "It had nothing to do with the size of her boobs."
Jackson frowned.
"Why are you so chippy?" He asked.
"Because guys like you never see girls like me." Viv replied. "All your conquests look like they've been made in lab." She adds. "It's transparent."
Jackson sighed.
"I really did liked Maeve, you know." Jackson stated. "But...I guess it's just the feeling, but I guess another girl has me feeling exactly how you feel right now."
Viv raised her eyebrows.
"Is it a particular goth girl?" Viv asked.
Jackson smirked.
"How did you know?" He asked.
"I've seen the way you look at her." Viv replied.
"Yeah, she's cool." Jackson commented. "It's like how I felt with Maeve...but different, better in fact." He adds.
Viv chuckled.
"But back to the play thing, I really think you should tell your mum that you're in a school play." Viv advised. "She'll be really proud."
Jackson felt taken aback.
"Sorry, did you just give me a compliment just then? Or-"
Viv cut him off.
"If you stop being so lazy and learn your lines." She adds.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever." Jackson chuckled out.
"Thank you for today." Viv thanked.
"It's all right." Jackson agreed.
"Bye." Viv spoke as she walked off.
Jackson then called out to her.
"Hey Viv?" Jackson spoke. "I do see you by the way, I see a girl that gave Dex her number." He teased as Viv walked off chuckling.
Once Viv walked off, Jackson began to walk back home when he pulled out his phone to text Asia.
When he was about to type something, he looked at the photo of him and Asia at the fair then smiled.
"She has such a pretty smile." Jackson thought to himself.
Then something dark began to cloud Jackson's mind as he began to hear moaning playing in his head.
It sounded like Asia's moaning, possibly.
Jackson then felt his pants tighten as he looked down.
"Shit, shit, shit." Jackson muttered to himself. "I gotta get home now." Jackson thought to himself as he tried to hurry home only for each step to hurt him.
Fast forward to the very next day, Jackson was walking with Mr. Hendricks.
"So, I won't be able to make it to dress rehearsal." Jackson told Mr. Hendricks. "It's about my mum, she wants me back into the pool as soon as possible." He explained.
"I'm sure she'll understand, it's great to have more than one passion." Mr. Hendricks assured him. "Talk to her, okay?"
Mr. Hendricks then walked off as Jackson sighed.
"If only it was that easy." He thought to himself.
My POV
"So, you basically have gotten horny huh?" Maeve asked.
I nodded my head.
"You're acting like a virgin woman in a church, it's okay to have wet dreams." She assured me.
"Yeah, but not about someone that used to date my best friend." I retorted.
"I told you before that I'm over Jackson, so I honestly don't care if you date him or fuck him." Maeve assured me as my face turned red.
Maeve then hummed.
"Do you have something to relief that stress?" Maeve asked.
I wasn't sure what she was getting out.
"As in a stress ball or...?" I asked.
Maeve leaned in closer to whisper into my ear. My eyes then grew wide.
"Uhhhhh, I've never purchased one of those before." I mumbled out. "Plus I don't think I'm old enough to buy one."
Maeve chuckled.
"You don't need to be a certain age to buy a sex toy Asia." Maeve pointed out. "I've gotten my vibrator at 15 with no problem."
"But where do I even buy those in an area that doesn't have any local porn stores?" I asked.
"They're not exclusively at a porn store, you can find them at a local store in the sexual health center, plain and simple." Maeve explained.
"O-okay." I stammered out.
"Also, if you do wanna shag him...get condoms because you can't rely on another guy to carry their own so better safe than sorry...or in this case, better safe than late." Maeve advised.
"Okay, thanks Maeve." I thanked.
"Also, are you going to Otis' party tonight?" Maeve asked. "Eric was telling me about it."
Damn, I haven't spoke to Otis in a hot minute.
"I haven't heard from both of them in a minute, so I might as well pop in just to say hi." I replied.
Maeve smiled as she nodded.
"Cool, see you there then." Maeve spoke as she stood up and walked off.
Once she was gone, I quickly hurried off to a local store, planning to take Maeve's advice.
Soon as I stepped foot into the store, I went straight to sexual care aisle. My heart began to race as I looked at all the sex toys that were displayed on the shelves. I gulped as I nervously examined the shelves. I decided to take a small cylinder shaped one...since I'm starting off small and slow.
My hands trembled as my anxiety began to spike up.
It's like I can feel the judgmental stares surround me.
I took a deep breath as I made my way to the condoms section. I quickly grabbed a box and hurried my way to the check out when all of a sudden...
WHAM!
I guess I should've been more careful of my surroundings because I've bumped into someone and dropped my sinful stuff.
"Oh, sorry." I heard a familiar male voice apologize.
This better not be who I think it is.
I looked up to see...yup, it's Jackson.
"Oh, Asia, hey." He greeted.
Fuck, fuck, fuck!
"H-hey Jackson, what cha doing h-here?" I stammered out.
"Oh, I was just getting some snacks for Otis' party tonight." Jackson explained.
Please don't look down, please don't look down.
I watched as Jackson kneel down to pick up my stuff.
"Oh, I figured you dropped...this?" Jackson questioned as he looked up to see that I'm no where to be found.
Jackson then looked to see me running out.
"I'll see you at the party!" I screamed out as I ran out through the exit.
Okay...that was a bad idea.
Not only did I get caught about to purchase some things, my crush was the one who caught me.

The Loner and The Star 14: Jackson Marchetti (Sex Education)
My POV
So, me, Maeve, and Aimee are in the investigation room. Aimee was showing off the grey sweatpants she was wearing while laughing.
"Hope I get my jeans back." Aimee began.
"Do you really want them back, though?" Maeve asked.
Right, after that I would've just burned my jeans.
"Yeah, they're the perfect bootleg, Maeve." Aimee replied. "You don't find that very often." She points out.
"She's not wrong." I agreed.
"It's true." Maeve adds in nodding her head.
"Do you think they're watching us?" Aimee asked looking at the mirror.
"I mean, investigation rooms always have those one way mirror windows, so yeah they could be." I answered.
Aimee then let out a fart, which almost made me giggle.
"Sorry, I'm really nervous." Aimee apologized.
"Nah, you good." I spoke through stifled giggles.
Okay, this was definitely the wrong time to be laughing.
The door then opened up as Aimee sat down. The police sat down in front of us. The police then made a weird face. He probably smelled the fart that Aimee let out, but neither Maeve nor me sold Aimee out.
"Sorry, I fart when I'm scared." Aimee explained to the cop.
"Thanks for the jeans, Aimee." The cop then begins as he looks at the file. "So, fair hair, clean-shaven, five feet eight or nine...and a blue jacket." The cop described.
"It was kind of aqua." Aimee specified.
"And was he already on the bus?" The cop asked.
"Yeah." Aimee replied. "I think so." She adds in. "He might have got on at the second stop."
"Well, it's really important to know what stop he got on at so we can get as clear a picture as possible." The cop explained. "So you said you remember smiling at him." He pointed out. "Was that after the first stop or the second?" He asked.
Me and Maeve looked at each other confused.
"Sorry, what's that got to do with anything?" Maeve asked. "Are you saying that she shouldn't have smiled at him?"
"Charges like this are really hard to convict, and if we do actually catch the guy, the questions are gonna get harder." The cop explained.
Aimee stood up.
"I'm sorry, but can I have my jeans back please?" She asked. "I'm going to go, I'm sorry to make a fuss." Aimee apologized.
"Wait, Aimee, think about this." I spoke.
"Right, what if he does this to someone else?" Maeve asked in a whispered tone. "I know you can do this."
"You're doing brilliantly Aimee." The cop encouraged. "Just take your time, try to remember."
Aimee was quiet before she spoke.
"He was already on the bus." She began.
After the investigation, we all left the room.
"You guys ready?" The lady cop asked. "Give you a lift."
Aimee noticed that the lady cop was holding the lizard.
"Is the lizard going to jail?" Aimee asked.
"No, his owner has Alzheimer's." The cop replied. "Forgets why he's here and then he forgets to take this dude home."
Huh...now that I think about it, was that guy at the police station to file a case or...did he forget why he was there and thought he was at the vet.
During the ride home, I took out my phone to text Jackson.
M: About to head home, wyd?
J:I was with Viv earlier for a tutoring session.
Fuck! I forgot that I was supposed to meet with Viv today!
M: Fuck, I forgot that today was a tutoring session. I hope Viv doesn't take my head off tomorrow.
J: Lol, I doubt that she would. She's actually not that bad.
M: So, when's the audition for the play?
J: Mr. H said tomorrow. I think I got this since Viv helped me go over my speech.
M: She teaches Theater?
J: Not really but it took me a bit to convince her.
M: Lemme guess...the puppy eyed look.
J: Yeah lol, thought she said that I'm not cute.
M: I beg to differ.
J: So, you think I'm cute huh?
My face turned red after realizing what I just said.
M: I mean...you decent, you decent.
J: I'll accept that since you're beautiful yourself.
M:...stfu.
J:I know I made you smile.
Not going to lie, that did make me smile...which caught Aimee's attention.
"Who's got you smiling?" Aimee asked.
"Eh, it's just Head Boy texting me some dumb shit." I replied nonchalantly.
"Aw, so both of my sisters have crushes!" Aimee squealed.
I looked at Maeve, who was looking out the window trying to dodge.
"Lemme guess, your crush is our campus sex therapist huh?" I teased.
Maeve flipped me off, making me laugh.
"It's probably best to tell him." Aimee advised. "At least you'll get it off your chest."
"I will, when this one here does the same with Jackson." Maeve replied, pointing at me.
"What made you think I like Jackson?" I asked.
"Don't think I didn't see those texts." Maeve chuckled.
I grew silent.
"Don't worry, like I said, I don't care if you do end up with Jackson." Maeve assured me. "In fact, I feel like he would be with someone who'll match his energy."
During the ride, I couldn't help but reread that last text and blush.
As much as I want to admit that I like Jackson...what if he doesn't feel the same way? What if he doesn't like me back?
There's only one person who I can go to about this.
The Next Day
Fastforward to the next day after school, I gulped as I stood in front of Ms. Milburn's office. I don't know if it's my social anxiety talk or what but it's like I can feel the judgmental stares burning up my body as I opened the door.
Ms. Milburn looked up.
"Oh, hello darling." She greets. "Come on in."
I nervously walked in and sat down.
"What can I help you with?" Ms. Milburn asked.
"This may sound stupid but...it's somewhat not sex related but more or less...romantic relationship related." I began.
"It's okay, I've dealt with students asking for advice on that as well." Ms. Milburn assured me. "I don't just give sex advice."
"Well, I've been talking to this one guy here on campus and I think he's funny and cute but, I'm worried that he either doesn't like me back or...he's going to wind up fucking me over and making me an idiot like how it was back in my old school." I explained.
"May I please ask what happened back at your old school?" Ms. Milburn asked.
"The classic send nudes and got exposed by the boy I was dating." I explained. "Well, it was more of a sex tape than nudes."
"Well, to answer the second one...it wasn't your fault that the video got out." Ms. Milburn assured me. "It was definitely that boy's fault for having that video being circled around and I hope he was punished for that."
"He got a 2 weeks suspension, which was a very light sentence according to my mom." I explained.
"That is a very light sentence." Ms. Milburn agreed. "However, to answer the first one...the only way to find out that this boy likes you is you telling your feelings to him and you'll get your result." She advised.
I slumped down in my seat.
"It's okay to feel nervous." Ms. Milburn stated.
I then got up.
"Thank you Ms. Milburn." I thanked as I walked out the office.
While I was walking down the hallway, I heard Jackson's voice in another room.
"If I prone with my unworthiest hand this holy shrine, the gentle fine is this."
I peek through the door crack to see Jackson reading off something while holding a girl's hand.
"My lips two blushing pilgrims ready stand to smooth that rough touch with a tender kiss." Jackson continued.
Oh, yeah I forgot he was auditioning today.
"Good pilgrim, you do wrong your hand too much, which mannerly devotion shows in this; for saints have-"
Lily stopped the girl.
"Stop." She spoke out. "Florence, this is a play about horny teenagers." Lily stated. "I don't believe you want to have sex with him at all."
Lily then turned her attention to Jackson.
"And, Jackson, you're a terrible actor." Lily commented straightforward.
Damn! No filter at all.
Jackson frowned.
"I don't think you're supposed to talk to us like that." He stated.
"I'm not a teacher." Lily points out.
She got him there.
I jumped at the sound of the bell ringing then I quickly darted away from the door.
However, I know Lily said that Jackson is a bad actor...but hearing him do his speech felt like something else. I couldn't get his voice out my head of him talking in Shakespeare as my body began to heat up a bit.
When was the last time I had this type of feeling?
"Oi, Romeo." I heard a male voice say. "Show us your tights!"
I turned around to see a bunch of jocks talking to Jackson.
"Yeah, I borrowed your dad's." Jackson joked back.
"Juliet is a role of a lifetime for me, so better learn your lines." Florence demanded Jackson. "This isn't a joke to everyone."
Damn, okay Ms. Diva.
When Jackson walked off, I saw him coming towards my way.
I don't know why but it's like...the closer he was getting, my more my body began to grow warmer along with my heart rate increasing.
Is it me or did Jackson look a lot more sexy today?
Especially with his shirt hugging his muscles...
His eyes...
His lips...
"Uh, Asia?" I heard Jackson's voice say.
Oh, fuck, he probably caught my ass staring.
"Oh, uh, hey dude!" I greeted in a shrill voice before covering my mouth.
What the fuck was that?
"I don't understand why they gave him the part." We overheard Florence say. "He's terrible."
"He's Jackson Marchetti." One girl comments. "Who cares if he can't act?"
"And I heard since he broke up with Maeve, he'll basically have sex with anyone." One boy commented.
Um, the fuck?
I was about to storm over to them but Jackson stopped me.
"Hey, just leave them...they're right." Jackson sighed out. "About the acting part...not the sex part."
I looked at him with a straight face before flicking him on the forehead.
"Ow! What was that for!?" Jackson exclaimed.
"Never gas yourself up like that, or else it's going to result in a pinch next time." I warned. "Don't listen to them, okay? You got this."
Jackson rubbed his forehead.
"That surprisingly hurt." Jackson commented.
"Better be glad it was your forehead and not your nipples." I giggled.
Jackson covered his pecs.
"H-how would you like it if I-I did it to you?" Jackson stammered out.
My face turned red after he said that.
"I-I-I didn't mean your nips but...your forehead I'll flick! I mean-agggh!" Jackson groaned out making me laugh.
"Anyway, don't we gotta see Viv today?" I asked.
"Oh, shit right! I actually do need her help again with this." Jackson stated as he grabbed my hand and lead me to the library.
"Damn! Bruh slow down!" I yelled.
When we got to the library, we saw Viv surrounded by a bunch of papers.
"I need your help." Jackson stated.
"I'm cramming here Jackson." Viv replied.
"But I've started rehearsals and apparently, I'm bad at acting." Jackson explained. "I need you to explain it to me like you did for the audition."
"That was a one time thing." Viv pointed out. "Why can't Asia help you with it?"
"Hey, I have zero experience with acting." I defended.
"I'm only here to help you with English or maths, not turn you into Olivier." Viv stated.
Jackson looked at her confused.
"Who's Olivier?" He asked. "I'm playing Romeo."
Viv shook her head.
"Can I meet you later?" Jackson asked.
"No, because I'm chairing that algebra group and then I have to write a letter to my Polynesian pen pals." Viv explained. "Other people do have lives too, sorry."
Damn, this girl got quite the agenda but she does have a point.
Before Jackson could say anything else some scrawny guy with shaggy brunette hair approached the table.
"Hey, heats start in 20, right?" He asked Viv.
Viv gave a nervous giggle before speaking.
"Yes, they do start in 20." She replied.
"Alright, see you in a bit, Bev." The boy spoke as he walked off.
"See you in a bit, Dex." Viv replied back.
Huh...she didn't even correct him on her name, but judging by that body language she's feeling him.
Jackson looked at her with a smirk.
"Did he just call you "Bev"?" He asked.
"Even though your name is Viv?" I added in trying not to giggle.
"That's Dex, he's on the quiz team." Viv informed.
"So Ms. Vivian Odusanya has a crush huh?" I teased.
"No, I don't." Viv denied. "That was normal." She defended.
Me and Jackson both gave each other the side eye, knowing full well that was bullshit.
Viv then got up.
"I am late." She announced.
Jackson stopped her.
"Hey, let's make a deal." Jackson offered. "I'll help you get with that weird guy if you help me with Shakespeare."
"No, thanks." Viv declined.
"Come on, I can't humiliate myself in front of the whole school." Jackson begged as Viv walked off.
"Jackson, just let it go." I sighed out.
Jackson groaned out.
Maeve's POV
Maeve was just finishing up the competition with her group The Quiz Heads. They have won the competition and Maeve was congratulated by Ms. Sands then left to go find Otis, who was babysitting Elsie. Unfortunately, Otis was there...but Elsie wasn't in the stroller.
Maeve ran around the school looking for her little sister only to find her in Headmaster Groff's office, eating chocolate.
"Elsie, no!" Maeve exclaimed as she picked up Elsie, who had a face covered in chocolate and was surrounded by candy wrappers.
Once Otis buckled Elsie back into her stroller he sighed in relief.
"Told you she's a dickhead." Maeve spoke.
"Yeah, she's kinda cute, though." Otis comments. "I'm really sorry about losing her."
Maeve sighed.
"Yeah, you're a really shit babysitter." Maeve commented.
"Yeah." Otis chuckled out. "I'll see you around."
When Otis was about to walk off, Maeve stopped him.
"There was this moment last term, where I thought maybe you liked me...and I liked you back." Maeve admitted.
Otis stood there quiet.
"Um, and I got scared so I didn't tell you how I felt." Maeve continued. "And then you met Ola...and it was really hard seeing you with her every day." She adds.
"Why are you telling me this now?" Otis asked.
"Because it's true." Maeve replied.
Maeve noticed that Otis was frowning, as if he was angry.
"Why do you look angry?" Maeve asked.
"Because, Maeve, you can't...That's not fair." Otis groaned out. "I liked you, I really liked you." He added. "I fucking turned myself inside out liking you."
Maeve was a bit shocked.
"You did like me?" She asked.
"Yes." Otis replied. "Of course I did, and you're saying you felt the same."
"Yeah, it's...I was confused." Maeve admitted.
Otis then shook his head.
"I have a girlfriend." He points out. "I...I made myself get over you, Maeve, and now everything's fine, everything's normal, everything's great."
The two then just looked at each other before Otis said,
"I've gotta go."
Otis then walked off.
Maeve stood there, trying her hardest not to cry.
"Bad." Elsie babbled out.
Maeve chuckled.
"Yeah, that was bad." Maeve spoke.

The Loner and The Star 13: Jackson Marchetti (Sex Education)
My POV
I was now walking to school with Otis and Eric.
"Why are you wearing a scarf?" Otis asked Eric. "Is that for Rahim?"
"No." Eric quickly denied.
I smirked.
We then saw Ms. Milburn walking by as she greets us.
"Hello darling." She greets Otis.
"Don't address me at school, Mum." Otis dismissed.
"Don't forget dinner tonight." Ms. Milburn informed Otis. "Okay, that's it, you can go back to pretending I don't exist." She spoke as she walked off.
"So dinner tonight huh?" I joked.
"It's supposed to be with me, my mum, Ola, and her dad, Jakob." Otis explained as he parked his bike. "We're supposed to be getting to know each other like one big happy family."
Eric laughed.
"I can't believe that you get a girlfriend and she's basically your sister." He laughed.
"I'll admit that is a little sus that your mom is dating your girlfriend's dad." I added in.
As we began to walk, Rahim walked up to us.
"Good morning Eric." He greets.
"Morning Rahim." Eric greets back with a smile.
"I like your scarf." Rahim compliments.
"Oh, this?" Eric played off. "Forgot I had it on."
I snickered.
This is too funny yet cute at the same time.
"Could I ask you something?" Rahim asked.
"Yeah?" Eric asked.
Eric then looked at me and Otis meaning it was time for us to dip.
I walked off leaving them alone when I saw Jackson.
"Yo Jackson!" I called out grabbing his attention.
Jackson turned around and looked at me with a small smile.
"Hey, you alright?" Jackson asked.
I chuckled.
"Bro that incident was literally a day or two ago, I'm cool." I assured him. "Sorry, you had to see that though."
"Don't apologize...it's okay." Jackson assured me.
I looked down to see a pink flyer in his hand, then read that it was to audition for Romeo and Juliet.
"Huh, I never pegged you as a theater kid." I commented.
Jackson looked down at the flyer then quickly hid it behind his back.
"Oh this? Um, Lily was handing them out so...I was going to throw it away." He lied.
"Dude, you don't have to lie or hide anything." I assured him. "If you like theater, that's your business."
"Do you like theater?" Jackson asked me.
"I've always been a sucker for musicals." I admitted. "Hamilton will forever be my favorite play."
"Cool, um, are you also auditioning for the play?" Jackson asked.
"Nah, that's not gonna cut with my schedule." I replied. "Especially with Viv."
"Oh! That reminds me! I can ask Viv if she could help me with this!" Jackson exclaimed as he ran off. "I'll see you later Asia!"
I gave a small wave as I continued to walk to class.
After class ended, I was walking down the hallways when I saw Maeve and Aimee, who was holding a cake.
"Hey girls." I greeted. "Aimee, what's with the cake?" I asked.
"You didn't know? Today's Maeve's birthday." Aimee informed.
"Oh shit! Happy birthday!" I exclaimed.
"Thanks, but I'm not looking forward to celebrating my birthday." Maeve sighed out as we began to walk.
"Like I was saying, just tell Otis that you like him already." Aimee egged Maeve.
Maeve chuckled as she shook her head.
I then noticed that the cake looked a little smushed.
"What happened to the cake?" I asked. "It looks smushed." I added.
"Oh, it didn't look so bad before." Aimee stated. "But then I was on the bus and a guy wanked on my leg, and I got a bit of a shock and I smushed the cake." She explained.
Both me and Maeve stopped dead in our tracks.
Hold up! Run that by me again!?
"What?" Both me and Maeve said in sync.
"Do you think it'll stain?" Aimee asked as she looked down at her jeans. "I love these jeans."
How can she be this calm after what she just stated!?
"You...you have to report it." Maeve advised Aimee.
"Right! That is fucked up!" I exclaimed.
"It's fine, they were only cheap." Aimee assured us.
"Bro, we're not talking about the jeans!" I exclaimed, trying to control my anger.
What kind of sick fuck does that shit!?
"Right, you've been assaulted." Maeve adds in.
"I think he was just lonely, or not right in the head or something, which is weird 'cause he was quite handsome." Aimee nonchalantly stated.
Oh my God, oh my God!
I was balling and unballing my fists after she said that. I have zero respect for sick fucks who do shit like that and people who don't do anything about it!
"Aimes, this is serious." Maeve points out.
"Damn right." I agreed.
"It's silly." Aimee denied. "I'm fine, honestly."
Maeve bit her lip before she spoke.
"Okay, I know what I want to do for my birthday." She announced. "I want us to go to the police."
"I'm on the same boat." I added in. "Count me the fuck in."
We both led Aimee out the school to go to the police station.
If I could find who did this to Aimee, I can think of two things: 1. This guy is gonna get killed in jail once he gets arrested or 2. There's going to be a count of sexual assault AND murder that's going to be under the police's belts. Either way, I want justice to be served for Aimee.
Jackson's POV
Jackson watched as the three girls walked out the school then sighed. Jackson then began to walk as he entered Ms. Milburn's office.
"Oh, Jackson Marchetti!" She exclaimed. "The school's head boy."
Jackson nervously chuckled as he sat down.
"Yeah, that's me." Jackson states.
"What can I help you with?" Ms. Milburn asked.
"Um, so, it's for a friend." Jackson began. "He has a crush on this one girl on campus but she keeps telling him that she's not an easy target or she doesn't want to be seen as easy and...I was wonder what could that friend do to assure her that he's not after her like other guys?" Jackson explained.
Ms. Milburn took a deep breath before she spoke.
"It sounds like this young lady has been through some events that were traumatic for her to open up to another guy, let alone your friend." She began. "My only advice to your friend is to just give her some time to open up, thought I can't guarantee that her and your friend with get together, but I know that the girl will have someone to call a friend." She lectured.
Jackson smiled as he got up.
"Thank you Ms. Milburn." Jackson thanked as he walked out.
As Jackson began to walk, he thought to himself...
"As much as I'm okay with her being a friend...I wish that she would be okay with us becoming more."
My POV
Alright, so here we are waiting for us to make the report. I was seething with rage while Maeve was trying to calm down a very nervous Aimee.
"C'mon it's basically like he sneezed on me...except it was through his penis." Aimee tried to assured us.
"He came on you Aimee." Maeve pointed out as a female police officer approached us.
"This is our friend Aimee." I began. "She got sexually assaulted on the bus." I stated.
"I got jizz on my jeans." Aimee adds in. "I mean we're probably wasting your time."
"You're not wasting anyone's time, all right?" The lady cop assured Aimee. "Do you need to call somebody?" She asked.
"Shit, do I need a lawyer? Am I gonna get arrested?" Aimee asked a bit panicked.
"No, sorry. I just meant like your mum or someone." The lady cop specified.
"Oh, God no." Aimee declined. "She'll just make it into a drama."
"Right." The lady cop spoke as she grabbed a form. "Take a seat, fill out one of these forms, and an officer will be with you in a minute." She instructed.
When we sat down I sighed as I calmed down for a bit.
Damn...just damn.
Jackson's POV
Jackson snuck his way into the auditorium for his audition.
He sat down when Mr. Hendricks announced that the play was also going to be a musical.
"And this musical will be written and assistant-directed by Swing Band's very own Lily Iglehart." Mr. Hendricks stated as Lily got up. "And auditions will be held bright and early tomorrow morning." He adds.
Mr. Hendricks then went on about how he's excited because everyone will have their chance to shine on stage. Once the announcement was over with, Jackson walked over to see the speeches that were going to be said in the play.
"You know what? This feels dumb." Jackson thought as he began to walk away only for Lily to stop him.
"Hey, you forgot your speech." She told as she hands Jackson a paper.
"What is this?" Mr. Hendricks asked excitedly. "Jackson Marchetti auditioning for the lowly school play?"
"I don't really understand Shakespeare, sir, it doesn't make sense." Jackson admitted.
"Well that's the beauty of it, boy." Mr. Hendricks stated.
"Okay...thanks." Jackson stated as he walked off.
When Jackson was in the halls, he sighed to himself.
"Well, I'd rather struggle with this instead of doing swimming." He thought to himself.
Jackson then pulled out his phone to text Asia.
J: Hey, you wanna hang for a bit yeah?
A: Sorry, with Aimee and Maeve. Can't do 2day.
J:Understandable, take care.
Jackson then turned off his phone as he continued to walk.
"If only she was the Juliet to my Roman." Jackson muttered to himself.
"It's Romeo." Lily corrected him.
Jackson nearly jumped out of his skin.
"Jesus Christ! How did you-!? What!?" Jackson exclaimed.
"I'm pretty light on my feet." Lily stated. "You should try out...since you're always acting."
Jackson cocked an eyebrow.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Jackson asked.
"You're only doing this because you want to avoid going back to swimming." Lily points out. "You want to be yourself but can't because of the fear of your parents not accepting you unless you're doing something that they've done in their days."
Jackson couldn't help but agree but at the same time...it was scary that Lily was completely accurate with what she was saying.
"Also, if you like her...just tell her." Lily advised. "There's a 50/50 chance that you might end up with her."
"How did you know about-"
Lily cut him off.
"I once wrote a fanfic about you two." Lily stated. "You two are my favorite ship and I hope my ship sails."
Lily then walks off while Jackson stood there dumbfounded.
"She's pretty weird yeah?" He thought as he continued to walk.
Later on today, Jackson met Viv in the library for his tutoring session.
"I got a B plus in Algebra." He informed.
"You know that's not impressive, right?" Viv coldly stated.
Jackson scoffed.
"So, do you want to do your English or maths homework today?" Viv asked.
Jackson sat down.
"Well..." He began. "Actually, I was thinking of auditioning for the school play, but I don't understand Shakespeare and I wondered if you could teach me." Jackson requested.
"Not my remit." Viv declined. "Maths or English."
"Come on." Jackson pleads. "Look, I'd never have got a B plus in algebra if it wasn't for you." He points out. "And I'm sure you've got some Shakespeare tricks up your sleeve?" He asked.
Jackson then tilted his head to look at Viv in the eyes with the puppy eyes and big smile.
"Pleaaaassssseeeeee?" Jackson begged.
Viv looked at him with a blank stare.
"You're not cute." She deadpanned making Jackson chuckle. "Why do you want to audition anyway?" Viv asked.
"Well, I'm taking your advice and getting a backup plan." Jackson replied. "When I played Joseph in primary school Navitiy, people said that I was very believable." He explained.
"Of course you played Joseph." Viv replied.
"Come on." Jackson begged. "Please, you're a tutoring genius." He comments.
Viv slammed her pen down before she said,
"Fine, but this is a one time thing."
"Read me the speech." Viv requested.
Jackson took out the speech and began to read.
Viv then stopped him.
"Why are you reading it like it's a shopping list?" She asked.
"Because it makes no sense." Jackson replied.
"It's poetry." Viv points out. "Once you've got the rhythm the words take on meaning." She adds. "So, each line has ten syllables, made up of five heartbeats." Viv explained.
She then began to mimic the heartbeats in a rhythmic pattern.
"You try." Viv tells Jackson.
Jackson cleared his throat before he begins to read his speech again.
Viv nodded.
"So you've got the rhythm and the words." She points out. "Now you need the emotion." She adds. "This speech is about love, so try thinking of someone who makes you feel a lot when you say it." Viv advised.
Once she said that Jackson could think of the one person who makes him feel love whenever he sees her.
"Asia..." He thought to himself.

The Loner and The Star 12: Jackson Marchetti (Sex Education)
Asia's POV
I woke up to the sun beaming in my face. I then shot up and looked around to see that I'm in my room.
Then...it dawned upon me.
"Oh, yeah...last night at the fair." I mumbled to myself as I got out of bed.
I quickly got dressed into some fresh clothes since I was about to be late for class already. When I rushed downstairs, my mom stopped me then hugged me tight.
"Everything's going to be okay baby...I promise." My mom muttered.
I get where she was going with this as I hugged her back.
"I'll be fine mom." I assured her as I ran out the door.
When I got to science class, I immediately sat next to Otis. I looked in the back to see Ms. Milburn then looked ahead to see Mr. Hendricks standing next to a box.
"Alright, class..."He begins as he opens the lid of the box. "In the old box...is your questions that you've submitted about sex ed."
Mr. Hendricks then pulled out a piece of paper as he reads the question out loud.
"Can I get pregnant from only giving hand jobs?"
The class began to laugh.
Not going to lie, it was a little funny.
Mr. Hendricks began to explain.
"Well, fertilization only occurs when Mr. Sperm enters Mrs. Egg." He lectured. "So, no is the answer." He simplified.
Mr. Groff then walks into the room and stood next to Mr. Hendricks.
I'm not going to lie, why do principals do that? Like, are they just being nosey or what?
Mr. Hendricks hesitantly pulled out another question.
"My boyfriend doesn't want to wear a condom. What should I do?"
Okay, that should be an automatic deal breaker when it comes to sex. Or at least a red flag for those who don't wanna have kids yet.
"Uh...Hell." Mr. Hendricks dragged out. "Condoms protect the egg from fertilization." He explained.
Rahim then raised his hand up.
"Monsieur, what about gay sex?" He asked.
I looked around the room to see the female students having mixed expressions on their faces. Some were shocked and some were disappointed. I guess, they thought that they had a chance to bang Rahim. I then looked at Eric who has a big smile on his face.
I guess he's happy to know that his crush is gay.
"Well, you can't get pregnant from, um, homosexual activity." Mr. Hendricks explained.
"But what about pleasure?" Rahim adds. "People don't always have sex to make a baby." He points out.
I nodded my head in agreement.
He does have a good point.
"Where was I? The, uh...The egg-" Mr. Hendricks stammered out but Rahim continued.
"What type of lubricant would you recommend for doing anal sex?" He asked.
Mr. Hendricks stood there, stumped.
"Well, you should always use a water-based lubricant." Ms. Milburn chimed in.
All the attention was now on her.
"Oil-based products will decompose the latex in the condom." She continued.
Mr. Hendricks shrugged.
"And, sorry, just to answer the previous question, no matter how persistent a sexual partner is about not using contraception, remember it is always your right to say no." Ms. Milburn stated.
Shoot, said it way better than I would.
Mr. Hendricks shot a thumbs up at her.
When the bell rang, I was walking out the class with Otis...who looked kind of embarrassed.
"Dude, are you still embarrassed about your mom being apart of the sex education curriculum?" I asked.
"No, it's not that." Otis sighed out. "It's just...Lily told me that Ola says that I'm bad at fingering and I asked these two girls that are a couple on campus for advise and they said to talk to Ola about it." Otis explained.
"I mean, they're not wrong." I spoke. "The only person who could guide you through their way of pleasure is your partner themselves." I added.
"I guess..." Otis muttered as we both walked out the entrance.
Eric was hurrying up behind us.
"Otis! Your mum is everything!" Eric comments. "And I think Rahim is gay!"
"Or he could be bi...either way he could be attracted to the same sex as you dude." I added in.
"He's always staring at you, wanting to read books with you, wanting to sit next to you all the time." Otis listed. "It actually makes a lot of sense."
"Oh, but I don't know if he likes me." Eric doubts.
Otis puts his bike helmet on.
"Read the signs Eric." Otis said. "I gotta go."
Otis then bikes off, leaving just me and Eric.
"I think Rahim does like you, so I would just go for it." I advised.
Eric smirked at me.
"And while I'm at that...why don't you do the same with Mr. Swimmer?" Eric teased.
My face turned red.
"W-what!? What chu mean?" I asked.
"Oh, don't think I saw all that went down the other night." Eric chuckled out. "You got yourself a knight in shining armor."
"He was just helping me get home, that was it." I assured Eric.
"Sure, and the next thing you know...you two would be in the same bed at your home." Eric joked.
"Oh my God, shut up!" I exclaimed as Eric laughed.
"Anyway, I gotta go." I stated as I walked off.
While I was walking away, I looked to see Jackson sitting on one of the benches then smirked to myself.
"I mean...it doesn't hurt to like him a little." I thought to myself.
Otis' POV
Otis made his way to Ola's house to talk to her.
Soon as Ola answered, Otis began.
"I know that I'm bad at fingering." He began. "I was really really busy trying to get it right and I wasn't listening to you." He adds. "We don't ever have to do it again." Otis assured her.
Ola bit her lip as she grabbed his hand.
"Or..."She began as she leaned in closer. "I can show you what I like." She suggested as she pulls Otis into her house.
"I guess communication with her does work." Otis thought to himself.
Aimee's POV
It was now the next day.
Aimee happily got on the bus with a cake in her hand.
Aimee was holding on to the handle while the bus was in motion.
All of a sudden, Aimee felt that something was off.
She then turned around to see the man behind her stroking himself.
"What are you doing?" Aimee asked in utter shock. "He's wanking on me!" She exclaimed.
However, no one intervened.
"Can I get off the bus please?" Aimee asked.
The bus driver complied as they stopped the bus so Aimee could hop off.
Once Aimee got off the bus, she looked down to see some semen on her pants.
"He jizzed on me." She whispered to herself in disbelief.

The Loner and The Star 11: Jackson Marchetti (Sex Education)
Jackson's POV
After Asia left, Jackson was confused.
"When I did say that she was easy access?" He thought to himself.
Jackson shrugged as he got up and walked out the gym, only to see Headmaster Groff.
"Jackson, just the boy I want to see." Headmaster Groff greets as he puts his hand on Jackson's shoulder and began to escort him to his office. "There's something I need to talk to you about."
"Here we go...what does it take to not deal with him?" Jackson thought to himself.
When they got to Headmaster Groff's office, Jackson sat down.
"Well, I'll cut to the chase." Headmaster Groff begins. "You're one of Moordale's brightest students with the highest grades." He praised. "However, since you're injured, we couldn't let your grades be put in jeopardy because of that." Headmaster Groff states.
Jackson looked at him confused.
"But, my grades are perfectly fine, like you said." Jackson points out.
"I know, and we want to make sure it stays that way." Headmaster Groff replied. "I've assigned you with a student tutor for the term, and she's one of the best here at Moordale." He announced.
Jackson flubbed his lips as he got up and walked out.
"If it's not my mums, it's Mr. Groff." Jackson thought.
My POV
Man, what was I thinking?
As much as I still do have leftover feelings for Jackson, I'll be damned if I allow myself to fall for the same shit.
I was at my locker, when I was approached by Headmaster Groff.
"May I have a word with you in my office?" He asked.
Not knowing what he needed me for, I followed him.
When we got to his office, I sat down as he began to speak.
"So, I've gotten a report from Mr. Hendricks that you're starting to fall behind in his science class, care to explain?" Headmaster Groff explained.
"Well, the class overall is pretty rambunctious." I simply stated.
Seriously, Mr. Hendricks would let everyone in the class run buck wild sometimes.
"Well, if you're distracted by how the class is then I'm requiring you a student tutor in order for you to get your grade back to the acceptable letter." Headmaster Groff told.
"I don't need a tutor, I got this." I denied.
"I wasn't asking." Headmaster Groff bluntly replied. "You want to go to college?" He asked. "College doesn't let one failing grade slide and I don't know how it is back at your home town, but here, the colleges are not your average community college." He explained.
Uh, the fuck? What kind of person do you think I am based on where I came from?
"Um, okay?" I replied.
Headmaster Groff then gives me a schedule containing the tutoring hours, which I've realized will cut into my time being in the Creative Writing club.
Oh, now this is a bunch of bullshit!
"Have a good day, Ms. Kinsworth." Headmaster Groff dismissed.
I got up and walked out the office.
"You know what? Might as well go meet this person." I thought to myself as I went to the study hall.
When I got to the study hall...never in my life would I run into this guy twice in one day.
"Asia?" Jackson began. "What are you doing here?"
"I'm here for tutoring." I replied.
"I'm guessing you're Asia Kinsworth?" A dark skinned, plus sized woman with braided up hair done up into three buns asked as she was sitting across from Jackson.
"Yeah, that's me." I replied.
Jackson chuckled.
"What a coincidence, we got the same tutor." Jackson points out.
Oh, crap...this is gonna be harder than I thought.
"Are you two friends?" The tutor asked.
"Uh, somewhat." We both replied in sync.
"Well, look, it's not the time to play, it's the time to study." The tutor states. "I'm Vivienne Odusanya, but just call me Viv." She introduced.
Damn, I can see why Headmaster Groff assigned us both with her.
"So, I heard you're the smartest kid in the school." I began.
"Yes, and I'm also the most busy." Viv adds. "I'm assuming Mr. Groff gave you my schedule so I would hope that you would follow it, both of you." She stated.
"Technically, I don't have any assignments regarding science, so I'm good for now." I point out.
"Same here, and Mr. Groff says that you'll receive extra credit for tutoring us both." Jackson added. "So, we can just chill."
"Okay, both of your sessions are tonight." Viv informs.
Aw, what? C'mon now! Throw a bone girl.
"But tonight's the fair." Jackson pointed out.
"Listen, my schedule's organized for optimum time management." Viv explained. "Take it or leave it."
"I'll take it." I immediately accepted. "As long as my mom won't be on my back along with Headmaster Groff."
"Okay, picnic tables, 6 o'clock." Viv instructed. "Bring your math assignments and don't be late." She told Jackson as she walked off.
Once she walked off, Jackson couldn't help but chuckle.
"Why are you laughing?" I asked.
"She's funny when she's uptight." Jackson replied.
"You like her or something?" I asked.
"No, I don't fall for every girl I meet." Jackson stated. "And even if I did, that's not your business."
"Okay, you got my ass there, my bad." I apologized.
"I still can't believe, you of all people needed tutoring." Jackson chuckled.
"You say that like it's a bad thing." I pointed out, feeling a bit offended.
"No, no, I'm saying it's a bad thing...I'm just saying it's surprising since you said that you were an AB honor roll student." Jackson explained.
"Yeah, well blame Mr. Hendricks' science class." I scoffed.
"Okay, I actually don't blame you." Jackson agreed. "No one can get work done in that class."
"Yeah, I get when there's students who don't take accountability for their work, but there's also teachers who don't be actually teaching the class." I pointed out.
"Yeah, and hey, can I ask you something?" Jackson asked.
I looked at him.
"What did you mean when you said that you're not easy access?" Jackson asked.
Damn, I already forgot that I said that to him earlier.
"Just...forget I said that." I muttered out. "I don't know what I was thinking when I said that."
"Hey, if you think that I'm after you because of Maeve, I'm not." Jackson assured me. "Trust me, I'm over Maeve and I really do want to get to know you."
I stayed silent, which prompted Jackson to look at me with the biggest smile and puppy eyes.
Oh God...why is he so cute?
"Pleeeeaaaasssseeeee?" He dragged out.
"Okay, okay." I giggled out. "Just stop making that stupid face."
I nudged his head away.
"I knew it would work." Jackson chuckled out. "You can't resist my charm."
"Boy shut the fuck up." I laughed out. "Anyway, I'll see you at the fair tonight."
"Hey, you actually wanna get there early?" Jackson asked.
"I mean, I don't have a reason to, why?" I asked.
"We could play some carnival games before meeting up with Viv." Jackson suggested.
I shrugged.
"Okay, sure." I accepted.
"Cool, see you then." Jackson replied with a smile as he walked off.
Soon as he walked off, I thought to myself,
"Okay, I guess he's not so bad after all."
Maeve's POV
Maeve was outside with Aimee and Steve, but she was too busy eyeballing Ola chatting with Lily.
"I don't trust her." Maeve states. "She looks smug."
"Who? Ola?" Steve asked. "She seems nice."
"She's still hung up on Otis." Aimee points out.
"It's got nothing to do with Otis." Maeve defends. "I'm over him."
Aimee and Steve both looked at each other like they both call bullshit on that.
"So, how are you filling out your thing?" Maeve asked referring to the paper Aimee and Steve were filling out.
"I don't know what my thing is." Aimee replied. "You got your feminine books-"
"Feminist." Maeve corrected.
"-Steve has his Quiz Brains things." Aimee continued.
"Quiz Heads." Steve corrected. "So, great being apart of the team."
"What's so good about it?" Maeve asked.
"Well, facts are fun, and if we get through to the final, it's going to be a very big deal." Steve explained.
"What does your form say?" Maeve asked Aimee.
"It says that I should be a baker." Aimee replied.
Steve looked at her form.
"Aims, I think it might be banker." Steve pointed out. "Baker's not on there." He adds.
Maeve shrugged.
"Hmm." Aimee hummed. "I think I'm going to stick with baker, I do really like toast."
Maeve nodded in agreement along with Steve.
While Aimee was liking the idea of being a baker, Maeve looked at Ola to see her eyeballing her then turning towards Lily.
"I'm onto you." Maeve thought to herself.
My POV
I decided to get to the fair before Jackson did, only because Eric invited me out with him and Otis.
"Otis, you seem to be chipper." I pointed out.
"Only because I've mastered the art of fingering." Otis announced proudly.
Eric cheered as he jumped up and down.
"I knew you had a freshly-fingered glow about you!" He squeaked out. "Tell us everything!"
When Otis started explaining, I looked ahead to see Jackson.
"Uh, guys I'mma fuck with y'all." I announced as I walked off.
Eric looked to see me walking towards Jackson and smirked.
"Hey." I began.
"You got here way before I did." Jackson chuckled out.
"Only because of Eric." I stated.
Then there was awkward silence.
"So, uh, what game you wanna start with?" Jackson asked.
"I did see a shooting game back there, wanna try that?" I asked.
Jackson nods as we both began to walk up to the shooting game, only to see Maeve, Ola, Aimee, and Lily.
"Hey! I haven't heard from y'all in a minute!" I greeted.
"Asia! Where have you've been?" Lily asked. "You haven't been to the Creative Writing club in weeks."
"Tutoring." I replied. "Blame Mr. Hendricks."
"Well it's good to know that you're still alive." Aimee states.
I chuckled.
All of a sudden, I can feel a shift in the atmosphere. Mainly, between Jackson, Maeve, and Ola. Lemme tell you right now, it was not a good atmosphere.
"Maeve." Jackson greets.
"Jackson." Maeve greets back. "I see you and Asia are getting along."
"O-only because we're both sharing the same tutoring, wh-who's supposed to be here later." I stuttered out.
Dammit, why am I stuttering?
"Anyway, Asia, have you seen Otis?" Ola asked.
"Yeah, I was just with him and Eric earlier." I replied.
"Okay, good." Ola replied as she gave Maeve the side eye.
Okay, what does Maeve have something do with Otis?
"So, uh, who's first?" Aimee asked, trying to break the tension.
"Maeve and I will go first." Ola announced as she picked up a gun.
Both of them locked and loaded as they began to shoot down the targets. It was an easy win for Ola.
Once the man handed Ola a plastic bag with a goldfish in it, she turned towards Maeve.
"I need to go find Otis." Ola says as her and Lily walked off.
I put my two and two together and I have a feeling it's going to end up in a hot mess eventually.
"I'll see you around, yeah?" Maeve asked me.
"Uh, s-sure." I stammered out as Maeve and Aimee walked off.
"What's with them?" Jackson asked.
"Look, I have a feeling that it involves a certain boy and I'mma stay out of it." I replied as I grabbed my gun.
I looked over at Jackson, who was struggling due to him having a cast.
"Bro, how are you going to play any games if you're injured?" I asked.
"I can do it." Jackson stated as he fumbled with the gun, only for the gun to shoot out a pellet then ricochet all around until it hits one of the prizes.
The game owner was not happy about that as he scolded at us to leave.
Once we walked off, we couldn't help but laugh.
"I mean, hey, at least it didn't take someone out forreal." I pointed out.
"Yeah." Jackson chuckled out.
"Maybe we can try to find a different game." I suggested.
Jackson looked around and pointed at one with the rubber ducks and fishing rods.
"Oh that? Sure." I agreed as we walked over.
I'll admit, if we didn't have to meet Viv for tutoring, this would've been a nice day to hang with Jackson.
We got to the duck fishing game and sat down. We both ended up winning by fishing for the big duck. My prize was a stuffed fish while Jackson's was a stuffed cat.
"Um, do you want the fish?" I asked nervously. "I feel like it kinda matches with you well."
Jackson was confused for a second but then realized what I was getting at.
"Oh, because I do swimming." Jackson pointed out as I nodded. "Yeah, and I'll give you the cat since I feel like you resemble a cat."
"Why, because I'm introverted and usually don't like to be bothered with people most of the time?" I chuckled out.
"That was pretty spot on, but yes." Jackson responded as me and him exchanged prizes. "Wait, if you don't like to be bothered with people then explain why you're with me and friends with Maeve." He pointed out with a smirk.
"I guess, I've let a few people wear me down." I muttered out, trying to fight the smile that was forming on my face.
"Alright, little kitty." Jackson teased.
I hid my face behind the stuffed cat while Jackson laughed.
"I'm sorry, but you're just so fun to tease." Jackson giggled.
"Asshole." I chuckled as I bopped him on the head.
"Are you two done flirting?" We heard a female voice say.
We both jumped and turned around to see Viv standing there with her arms crossed.
How long was she fucking right there!?
"Uh, hi Viv." Jackson greeted.
"Hello, c'mon, enough of y'all date." Viv ordered as she walked off.
"It's not a date!" I called out as I followed her.
Jackson's POV
"I wish." Jackson thought to himself as he followed behind.
Otis' POV
Otis was walking around with Ola while Eric was on the ferris wheel with Rahim.
"Today was a fun day." Ola begins as she looked at the night sky.
"Yeah, it was." Otis agreed.
"Um, I need to tell you something." Ola announced. "Uh, I really, really don't like...goldfish." She lied as she hands Otis the goldfish bag.
"Uh, thanks." Otis chuckled out, accepting the bag. "Hey, do you wanna hang out at mine?" He asked. "Maybe a little...you know." Otis implied at.
"No." Ola declined. "I've got loads of homework that I need to do." She lied. "In fact, I need to go now." She announced as she hurried off.
Once she left, Otis turned around only to gasp to see Lily behind him.
"My friend's boyfriend doesn't know how to finger her properly." Lily states.
"I'm off duty, sorry." Otis denied.
"He's really bad at it." Lily pushed.
"Tell your friend's boyfriend to look up something called the clock technique." Otis advised. "It looks a bit complicated at first, granted, but once you get it right, the results are astounding." He adds.
"It's you." Lily revealed. "You're my friend's boyfriend." She adds. "You're bad at fingering." She comments.
Otis stood there feeling a bit shocked yet felt the disappointment rise in him.
"Please don't tell Ola I said anything, but...sort it out?" Lily asked as she walked off.
When Lily walked off, all Otis could think about was,
"I was bad? Why did Ola lie?"
My POV
So far the tutoring session was going great. I feel like I'm going to pass Mr. Hendricks' class with flying colors.
"So, water makes up of 2 Hydrogen and 1 Oxygen, which makes H2O." Viv explained to me as I wrote it down.
"Got it." I spoke.
Out of no where, two guys approached us. They didn't look like they were from our school but from another one.
"Hey lassie, you with the short hair." One of them called out to me.
Oh no...I hope this isn't what I think it is.
"You're sexy as hell, why not ditch the jock and lard arse and come with some real men?" He rudely asked while high fiving his friend.
"Excuse you, but we're in the middle of something." Viv jumped in. "And you don't ever speak to her like that."
"Shut up, don't be bitter because you have a hot friend." The other guy insulted.
"C'mon sweetie, come with us." The first guy coaxed.
I felt my heart racing along with my hands trembling and stinging coming from my eyes.
"Leave me alone!"
"What? You let him hit, so lemme get some."
"Don't touch me, I don't wanna do it!"
"Why are you being so difficult? You were easy with him."
When I felt a hand on my shoulder, that's when I snapped.
"LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" I shrieked out loud enough to make Jackson and Viv jump and everyone turn their attention towards us.
The two guys were taken aback while I stood there heavily breathing as tears slid down my face.
"Oh...okay, sorry." The guy quietly apologized as he and his friend walked away.
All I could do was stand there while my whole entire body trembled.
"Asia...are you alright?" Jackson asked.
Eric and Rahim hurried over to us.
"What happened?" Eric asked. "I thought I heard someone shriek."
"A couple of ignorant men came over and started harassing us and then Asia just got up and screamed at them." Viv explained.
Damn, damn, damn! Why did I have to breakdown here?
I guess I attracted a lot of attention because people started to crowd around me, which made things worse. I hate being surrounded by large crowds hovering above me.
My breath was shaky...
I was shaking like I was cold...
And fresh tears kept sliding down my face...
Eric shoo'ed the bystanders away.
"Uh, nothing to see here now." He sassed. "You all didn't do this when those two men were harassing her, so don't try to care now." He adds. "Bye."
Everyone grumbled as they walked away.
"Do one of you have a car?" Viv asked.
"I do but it's back at home, plus I can't drive." Jackson answered. "Wait, I can call my moms to see if they could pick us up." He suggested as he took out his phone.
Jackson waited with me as a car pulled up.
Sofia came out.
"Jackson, what-"
Sofia cut herself off once she saw a very distraught me.
"What happened?" Roz asked then she looked at me. "What happened baby? What's your name?"
I blubbered out my name.
"Can we drive her home?" Jackson asked.
Sofia and Roz looked at each other then nodded.
"Get in." Sofia ordered.
Jackson's POV
During the ride, Jackson noticed that Asia had gone quiet then looked over to see Asia fast asleep from all the crying she did.
Jackson sighed.
Asia then slumped over and rested her head on Jackson's shoulder, which made Jackson tense up a bit but relaxed.
"I guess we're sort of alike...or something." Jackson thought.
When Jackson pulled up to Asia's house, he didn't want to wake Asia. So, he carried her to the porch and knocked. Asia's mom opened the door to see Jackson holding Asia and his two moms behind him.
"Hello, my name is Jackson and I'm one of your daughter's classmates and...I'm dropping your daughter off." Jackson nervously explained.
Ms. Kinsworth noticed the tear marks on Asia's face.
"What happened?" She asked.
"She was...harassed at the fair." Jackson explained. "She broke down and cried."
Ms. Kinsworth frowned.
"Is it okay if I carry her to her room?" Jackson asked.
Ms. Kinsworth stood aside.
"Upstairs on the left." She instructed as Jackson carried Asia inside.
When Jackson got to the bedroom, he gently placed Asia on the bed and placed her stuff cat next to her. Asia automatically wrapped her arms around the stuffed cat and moaned in her sleep.
Jackson sighed as he walked out the bedroom, closing the door behind him.
Jackson then walked downstairs to see his moms conversing with Ms. Kinsworth.
"Alright, I guess we better get going, yeah?" Sofia announced.
"Thank you three so much." Ms. Kinsworth thanked. "You two raised such a nice young man."
Jackson gave a small smile.
"Thank you ma'am." Jackson sheepishly thanked.
When Jackson got home, he stripped down from his clothes and got into bed. He turned his head over to see the stuffed fish in his vision and thought,
"Asia..."

The Loner and The Star 10: Jackson Marchetti (Sex Education)
Maeve's POV
Maeve walked into Headmaster Groff's office.
"Wiley, you're barred from campus." Headmaster Groff states.
"Okay, but please hear me out." Maeve pleaded as she sat down. "I know you don't think so, but I deserve a second chance at this school." She states. "The things you said about my family are true, and I messed up, but I don't want to be like them." Maeve conceded. "I know I have more in me than that." She continued. "I believe that I'm as asset to your institution."
"How so?" Headmaster Groff questioned.
Maeve then took out a stack of papers.
"These are the students essays that make your grade average so high." She introduces. "I wrote every single one of them." Maeve revealed.
"Leave my office immediately." Headmaster Groff dismissed.
Maeve plopped the papers down on his desk.
"Read them and see." Maeve insisted. "If you let me back in, I won't tell everyone that your school is full of cheats." She bargained.
Headmaster Groff leaned forward.
"I will call the police if you don't leave my office immediately." He threatened.
All of a sudden there was a knock on the door.
"What!?" Headmaster Groff barked.
The secretary walked in.
"The chairman is here again, she wants to see the new gymnasium." The secretary informed.
Headmaster Groff quickly got up and hurried out the room, but not before telling Maeve to get out.
Once Headmaster Groff was out the office, Maeve grabbed the stack of essays and walked out the office.
When Maeve was in the hallways, she saw a very familiar face;
Otis.
Both of them exchanged smiles as they walked towards each other.
"You're back." Otis points out.
"Just visiting." Maeve responded.
Otis noticed Maeve's hair, which was now a brunette color.
"Changed your hair." He pointed out.
"Perceptive." Maeve simply replied.
Otis chuckled.
"How have you been?" Otis asked. "I...miss you." He professed.
Maeve didn't answer his question.
"You better get to class." She advised.
Otis didn't ask again.
"Yeah, okay." Otis spoke as he walked off.
Maeve watched as he walked off, while The Untouchables walked up to her.
"Have you gone goth, Cock Biter?" Ruby insulted.
"I think you're lost." Anwar states. "Pretzel Parlor's back at the mall."
"Yeah." Olivia chimed in.
Maeve didn't say anything as they continued to walk by.
Maeve then looked at the stack of essays and then smiled.
Cue the light bulb lighting up.
Maeve made her way back to the office and said to the secretary,
"I've just seen Carl Mason use your car as a skate ramp."
"Oh, for fuck's sake." The secretary groaned out as she got up and hurried out the office.
Once the secretary was out, Maeve sat at her desk and looked at the intercom microphone.
"Have it your way Headmaster Groff." She thought.
My POV
I was in science class when Mr. Hendricks walked into the classroom.
"Masks off everyone, Jesus." Mr. Hendricks ordered.
"But Fiona has given everyone chlamydia, sir." One girl ignorantly states. Everyone laughed.
"Tell them that's not true." Fiona requested Martha and Gwen, who sat there in silence.
Mr. Hendricks sighed.
"You're supposed to be my friends." Fiona chastised before getting up and walking out the classroom.
"Go and see if she's okay." Mr. Hendricks tells Martha and Gwen. Both of them sighed as they got up and walked out the classroom.
Some friends those two are. They the ones who started the whole shit and now they won't own up to it.
"Okay, who wants to know about molecules?" Mr. Hendricks begins.
The bell chimed for the intercom.
"Good afternoon, Moordale." A female voice spoke.
Wait...I know that voice!
"Maeve?" I thought to myself.
"It's your ex-resident cockbiter, Maeve Wiley, speaking." Maeve addressed.
Holy shit, it is her!
"And I'm here to read some of your brilliant prize-winning essays." Maeve announced.
"Oh, shit this about to be good." I mumbled.
"Let's start with Ruby Matthews' A-star essay on Shakespeare's relationship to female empowerment." Maeve began as I looked to see Ruby's eyes grow wide.
Not hot shit, aren't ya bitch?
"It's a real belter, isn't it, Ruby?" Maeve asked. "Except you wouldn't know, because I wrote it." She revealed.
Damn! Exposed!
Before I could hear more, a male student barged into the classroom.
"Sir, come quickly, there's a fight." He announced.
What!? First Maeve's back to expose some folks and now a fight is going on? Man, too bad today's not a Friday.
Everyone started stampeding out the classroom while Mr. Hendricks yelled out,
"Fight!"
There was a lot of clamoring going on while students followed where the fight was happening. When we got outside, the people who were fighting was none other than Fiona, Martha, and Gwen.
I gotta say, this school never fails to amuse me with their crazy students.
Maeve's POV
"It's the most useful to examine this topic through the theme of marriage, as this is the framework within which the majority of Shakespeare's female protagonists are permitted to function." Maeve continued. "The women in both Othello and Much Ado aim to take control over whom they marry or if they must marry at all." She adds. "Desdemona's decision to marry Othello against her father's wishes was so singular that it almost transcendent." Maeve continued.
"Maeve! What are you doing?" One of the teachers, Ms. Sands, called out from the window.
"Well, I've got nothing to lose, have I?" Maeve responded.
"Wiley!" Headmaster Groff scolded as he rushed into the office and snatched the intercom microphone away from Maeve to turn it off.
The chairman lady followed behind Headmaster Groff.
"What exactly is happening here?" She asked.
"Nothing." Maeve simply replied. "Just reading some non-plagiarized, top line, A-star essays for shits and giggles." She implied.
"What is she talking about?" The chairman lady asked Headmaster Groff.
Headmaster Groff looked at Maeve.
"Would you like to tell her or should I?" Maeve asked.
Ms. Sands chimes in.
"Every year we read out the best essays students have written to celebrate Moordale's achievements." She explained. "This is Maeve Wiley, one of our brightest pupils." Ms. Sands addressed. "She's recently joined our Aptitude Scheme." She adds.
"So you get students to read out essays in the middle of class time?" The chairman lady questioned.
"Yes." Ms. Sands replied. "It's a...tradition."
"A very silly tradition that we must stop immediately." Headmaster Groff specified.
"An STI outbreak, mass class interruption." The chairman lady listed. "I'm sorry, what's next?" She asked. "Little monkeys instead of teachers? Creationism?" She adds before she scoffed. "It's anarchy."
All of sudden, everyone in the office heard clamoring coming from outside. This angered the chairman lady as she stormed out the office.
"Off you go, Maeve." Ms. Sands speaks.
Maeve got up from the desk and walked out the office, knowing that she has won and that there was a guarantee that she'll be re enrolling back at Moordale.
My POV
Everyone was outside surrounding the three girls fighting. It was literally two against one. Everyone was cheering, there was shoving, hair pulling, punching, basically anything that'll classify as a school fight.
Mr. Hendricks stepped in only back out once he realized how severe the fight was.
"Ah, ferocious." He comments. "Right, I'm going to go get help." He adds. "There's nothing more scary than a woman fight."
Shoot, I feel like this is nothing compared to back at home. There would be students carrying razor blades in their mouths to cut someone.
Mr. Hendricks pushed pass the crowd to go find help.
"Otis! Asia!" I heard Eric call out as he pushed his way to the front. "We need to something or they'll kill each other."
"I know! I know!" Otis exclaimed.
Eric looked at him.
"When I say, "we", I mean "you"." Eric points out. "Go!"
I watched as Otis made his way to the center, trying to break up the fight with little to no success.
"Eric!" I heard Maeve call out.
Me and Eric both watched as Maeve pushed her way up to the front.
"Maeve! You're back!" I exclaimed.
"What the hell is going on?" Maeve asked.
"Okay, so, Gwen and Martha think that Fiona gave them chlamydia, but she's clear." Eric explained. "So, we checked all the boys they slept with and they're clear too." He adds.
I showed her the notebook as she read the names that were crossed off.
"Jesus be with him." Eric muttered as he held his chest, watching his best friend still trying to break up the fight.
"Why isn't Owen's name on here?" Maeve asked.
We both looked at her confused.
"Who's Owen?" Eric asked.
"Wait, that name does sound familiar." I thought to myself.
Maeve pointed at who Owen was.
"That guy." She states.
"What? Pointless acapella kid?" Eric asked.
"Wait, I remember him!" I exclaimed. "Aimee tried to matchmake us a few months ago."
And I'm glad I didn't go on the date with him, let alone slept with him. Dodged a bullet.
"Gwen and Martha have been sleeping with him for ages." Maeve told. "He's always crying in the toilets 'cause they're trying to keep it a secret." She adds.
"How the hell did you know that?" I asked.
"I know everything." Maeve replied.
Otis was now on the floor.
"Otis needs help." Maeve states as she hurried off somewhere.
All I could do was watch the fight.
"You slut!"
"Slag!"
"Bitches!"
Fiona then bitch slapped Gwen and shoved Martha back.
"You gave me chlamydia!" Martha shouted.
Gwen was about to swing on Fiona, only for Otis to jump in.
POW!
Everyone groaned as Otis held his nose then looked at his hand to see blood.
Damn! Girl packed a punch.
"No! Otis!" Eric cried out as Otis fell to the ground.
Me and Eric hurried over to Otis along with Headmaster Groff to see that Otis was unconscious.
Man, this was one crazy ass school day.
Otis' POV
Otis was sitting outside in the hallway with two tampons up his nose to stop the bleeding.
"Ow! Ow! Easy!" Otis heard Owen whine as Asia dragged him by the arm to Otis.
"Alright, start talking." Asia demanded.
"And speak from the diaphragm." Eric added.
Owen sat down next to Otis before he spoke.
"It...was me who had given Martha and Gwen chlamydia." He admits.
Eric scoffed in disgust.
"Well, I found out I had it and got treated." Owen explained. "But didn't tell them I probably passed it on." He adds.
"Bro you are nasty." Asia comments.
"Uh-huh." Eric agreed.
"Why didn't you tell them?" Otis asked.
"Yeah, why didn't you?" Asia asked.
"They're already ashamed of sleeping with me." Owen justified. "Apparently, I'm boring and uncool." He adds. "Imagine if they knew I had an STI too."
"It is not shameful to have chlamydia, but it is wrong to lie about it." Otis points out.
"Right." Asia agreed. "You mean to say that you care about your rep more than someone else's health?"
"We all have flaws, and our bodies do things we have no control over." Otis continued. "But we can always control being truthful." He preached.
Owen nodded in agreement.
"I think you deserve better than to be someone's secret, Owen." Otis stated. "But you have to be honest with your sexual partners in the future." He advised.
"That's not too much to ask bruh." Asia chimed in.
"Right, that's all they're asking for." Eric agreed.
"I will." Owen announced. "And...you should maybe tell your girlfriend about your wanker problem." Owen advised. "The truth will set you free."
"I didn't ask to be therapized." Otis shot down.
"I didn't ask either, to be fair." Owen defended.
"Okay, that's a wrap for today." Asia announced. "Kid, you're dismissed."
Owen got up and walked away.
"Uncalled for and unnecessary." Eric comments.
Jackson's POV
Jackson was laying the hospital bed with a sling on his arm. The doctor walked in to announce his condition.
"You have a metacarpal fracture." He states. "You'll be in a cast for about six weeks." The doctor informed. "No swimming for the foreseeable future, sorry." He advised.
Sofia had a sad look on her face after hearing that.
"Can I get someone to sign some forms?" The doctor asked.
Sofia left the room with the doctor.
"What happened?" Roz asked.
"Mum, I'm fine." Jackson responded, trying to avoid the question. "I just wasn't concentrating." He explained. "It was a stupid accident, okay?"
"Okay." Roz replied as she rubbed the back of Jackson's head. "Silly boy." She comments.
Jackson was happy that he could get to take a break from swimming.
Maeve's POV
Maeve woke up one morning to the sound of someone knocking on the door. She got up and opened the door to see a teal envelope.
Until I tell him
Was what was written on the envelope. Maeve opened the envelope to see a huge stack of cash and automatically knew it was from her mom. Maeve then looked up to see two guys; one that was wearing a leather jacket and the other that was in a wheelchair.
Maeve walked over towards them to greet them.
"Hi." She began. "Do you need to some help?" She asked.
"Well, I didn't ask for any, so, no." The wheelchair bound guy replied as he wheeled off.
"Okay." Maeve muttered.
"Looks like we're neighbors, I'm Joe." The leather jacket guy introduces.
Maeve shook his hand.
"That ungrateful git's Issac." Joe addressed the wheelchair bound guy.
"I'm Maeve, and I don't like noise." Maeve introduced.
"Okay." Joe replied as Maeve walked off.
My POV
It felt like everything had went back to normal after the STI hysteria. Maeve's back, Otis is still keeping the sex clinic up and running, I haven't heard from Adam in a minute but Eric told me that he's been sent to military school. All I gotta say is, "Damn, I guess Headmaster Groff didn't handle it when his own son said he hates him."
So, we were having a morning assembly today because I was told that we were getting a new staff member.
From what he was saying, it's sort of regarding the STI hysteria.
"We're all adults...and I know we're all having sex." Headmaster Groff continued. "So, today we shall being hearing from a sexual health expert...ladies and gentleman, give it up for Dr. Jean Milburn."
Wait...Milburn?
Soon as everyone clapped a woman stepped out.
"Hello, everyone...my name is Dr. Jean Milburn." She began.
Wait, this woman is Otis' mom!?
"And I am here to start an open conversation about S-E-X." Dr. Milburn continued. "Like Headmaster Groff said, we know that some of you are having sex because when we were your age, some of us were having sex." She adds. "In fact, many of us still have sex, I'm pretty sure even Headmaster Groff." Dr. Milburn states.
A few people chuckled.
"And so, I would like you to tell me what you would like on your sex education curriculum." Dr. Milburn requested. "Take control."
Everyone was silent.
"Perhaps you'd like to know about the female orgasm...or mutual masturbation." She suggested.
Bro, I don't know whether to laugh or cringe at this but I will admit I'm glad this school got someone who actually knows about sex.
No offense, Otis.
"Or, you're if your labia is a normal length." She continued.
Everyone was just laughing at what Dr. Milburn was suggested.
"What I'm saying is..." Dr. Milburn spoke before she started singing "Let's Talk About Sex".
Okay, now that's hella cringey but it was funny.
"Did you wank off a courgette?" A male student asked.
Everyone bursts out laughing while chanting, "Courgette! Courgette!"
Dr. Milburn kept a cool head though as she continued.
"Anyway...there will be an empty box at reception." She informed. "If you have any questions, it is anonymous, so put anything in there that you would like to see in the curriculum." She finished.
"I don't understand why people are laughing, she's a nice lady." The handsome guy states.
"Um, because it's high school." Eric replied.
The handsome guy looked at Eric then stuck his hand out.
"I'm Rahim." He introduced.
"Uh, Eric." Eric replied hesitantly.
"Goodbye Eric." Rahim spoke as everyone got up.
After the assembly, I was walking down the hallways when I bumped into someone. The person hissed in pain.
"Shit! My fault bruh." I apologized.
"It's alr-"
Oh shit, it's Jackson.
"Hey Jackson what's u-what happened to your hand?" I asked a bit panicked.
"Weight room accident." Jackson replied.
"Damn." I commented.
Then there was awkward silence.
"So, um, what did you think about the assembly?" Jackson asked.
"I thought it was nice that they actually got someone who knows about sex." I replied.
"Yeah, after what happened, it's about time." Jackson chuckled out.
Dammit...why is it so hard to talk to him? I thought I moved on.
"Well, I got a free period...so, I'm just gonna go play my switch somewhere." I announced.
I began to walk but noticed that Jackson began to do the same. I looked at him confused.
"U-uh, do you mind if I join you?" Jackson asked. "I'm not busy as well."
"Sure, I guess." I replied.
Me and Jackson both walked to the gym where we sat at the bleachers. I pulled out my switch and turned on Animal Crossing.
"What game is that?" Jackson asked.
"It's called Animal Crossing." I responded. "It's a game where you get to catch bugs, fish, water flowers, it's basically one of those relaxing games where you get to have your own town or village and do whatever." I explained.
"I'll admit, it does look relaxing." Jackson chuckled out.
"You never played video games?" I asked.
"Nah, both of my mums never let me own a gaming console." Jackson replied. "It takes away from my focus on swimming."
"Wait, you have two moms?" I asked. "That's cool."
"Well, not when they're my mums." Jackson sighed out.
"Over achievers?" I asked.
"How do you know?" Jackson asked.
"You kinda do give off that golden star boy vibe." I explained.
"Well, what about you?" Jackson asked. "Does your mum push you to achieve?"
"Nah, my mom is not that crazy about me succeeding but she still makes sure I'm doing good in school overall." I explained. "Was an AB honor roll student back at my old high school."
Jackson scoffed.
"Wish my mum was okay with me having Bs." Jackson muttered out. "She loses her shit if I came home with anything below an A."
I looked at him concerned.
"Damn bruh, your mom sounds really harsh." I commented.
"I wouldn't say that...but it's like I can't live a normal teenage boy life without it regarding swimming or being the school's head boy." Jackson ranted.
I frowned.
"Honestly, I'd rather pick that than over what I was back in high school." I confessed.
"What? Why?" Jackson asked.
"You have people who automatically like you, you seem flawless, you don't have people trying to fight you for even walking in their direction." I listed. "That's something I would've wanted back at my old school, but at the end of the day, shit like that will expire once you graduate."
"That is true." Jackson agreed. "I honestly wish that was the case with me, where I'm at a place where no one knows me as the head boy or the golden child." Jackson confided.
"To be honest, I don't care if you are head boy of the school or the best athlete here." I admitted. "It really depends if you're a good guy outside of all those things."
Jackson smiled.
"Well, I'll accept that." Jackson accepted. "Thanks."
"No problem dude." I chuckled.
"How come we've never talked before?" Jackson asked.
"Because you were too busy worrying about Maeve at the time." I bluntly replied.
"Right, I forgot you're friends with Maeve." Jackson admitted. "I guess it was for the best, it kinda sucked since Maeve was someone I actually see myself dating."
"Do you picture yourself married with kids to her?" I asked.
"Whoa, God no." Jackson replied.
"Then it's better off broken." I preached. "Trust me, you're going to have a lot of relationships in your life, this just wasn't the one."
"You seem to know a lot about relationships." Jackson points out. "Have you've been in one?"
"Only once...and it'll probably be the last relationship I'll be in." I muttered.
"Says the one who told me that I'm going to encounter a lot more relationships in life." Jackson giggled.
Oops, I contradicted myself on that.
"Okay, you got my ass." I admitted as Jackson laughed.
"But has someone caught your eye here before?" Jackson asked.
I didn't wanna tell him that it was him or anything.
"Nah, not really." I lied.
"Oh, really?" Jackson asked with a smirk. "Are you sure it's not me still?"
I nudged his head away.
"I thought you were too drunk to remember that!" I squeaked out in embarrassment. "Besides, why do you care?"
"I...will admit...you seem pretty cool to be around." Jackson admits. "Despite you always keeping to yourself."
I couldn't help but blush at what he said.
Wait! What am I thinking about?
Is he only coming at me because he's trying to make Maeve jealous?
Am I a rebound?
Is he just looking for a quick fuck?
I sighed.
"Look, I don't mind getting to know you Jackson, but I'm not that easy to access." I stated as I got up.
"What are you talking about?" Jackson asked.
I didn't answer as I walked out, ignoring Jackson's calls for me to come back.
I'm sorry...but I refuse to put myself through the same pain again.

The Loner and The Star 9: Jackson Marchetti (Sex Education)
Jackson's POV
Jackson was swimming laps at the school's pool while Sophia was timing him. Once he was done, he surfaced up as Sophia stopped the stopwatch.
"I know, I need to be better." Jackson panted out.
"You want that sports scholarship, don't you?" Sophia asked.
"Yeah." Jackson answered.
"Well, push yourself a bit harder, and we'll be halfway there." Sophia lectured.
Jackson sighed.
"I need to get to assembly, okay?" He states as he swims to a ledge and got out the pool.
When Jackson went into the locker room, he looked at himself in the mirror and sighed.
"I don't think I wanna do this anymore." He thought to himself.
Otis' POV
Otis and Eric both were parking their bikes on the rack.
"Still no news from Maeve then?" Eric asked.
"Nope and that is okay." Otis replied. "It's a new term, meaning no more clinic, no more drama."
"You can't give it up." Eric objected. "Think of all the status you'll throw away."
"Knowing everyone's secret sex shame isn't going to make me popular." Otis points out.
"No, it's going to make you all powerful." Eric corrects.
"Um, maybe don't mention the whole clinic thing to Ola." Otis requested. "She might think it's weird."
"'Cause it was weird." Eric states.
Once Otis approached Ola, they both shared a hug
"Oh, you guys are super cute, but stop now, it's disgusting." Eric cringed.
"How are you feeling? You nervous?" Otis asked Ola.
"Yeah, a little bit." Ola replied as she held Otis' hand. "Is there anything I should know about?"
"Um, no, not really." Otis responded. "Nothing interesting ever happens around here."
Otis must've spoke too soon as they watched a girl run pass them screaming.
"I think you spoke too soon Oatcake." Eric states.
My POV
Okay, what the fuck is going on here?
Here I am, at my locker trying to get to my first class, and now I see everyone running around screaming.
"It's a plague! Don't let them breathe on you!" I heard a student shout as they ran down the hallway.
I was confused so I stopped a student who was running.
"Yo, what's going on?" I asked.
"Chlamydia, everyone's got it." The student replied, holding a box filled with masks. "Want a mask? One for a fiver, three for ten."
Huh? What the hell they've been teaching these kids in Sex Ed?
"Okay, even I know that you can't get chlamydia through breathing it in." I pointed out. "You literally have to have sexual contact with someone who already has it."
The student shushed me.
"Don't ruin my business, they don't know that." He whispered.
I just shook my head and began to walk. I saw Otis, Ola, and Eric up ahead.
"Yo, y'all hearing about this?" I asked.
"Yeah, and I don't think it's an actual outbreak." Otis states. "It's just mass hysteria."
"I've got to go and meet my chaperone." Ola informs Otis. "But, I've got a free period after lunch."
"So do I." Otis told.
"Do you want to hang at mine?" Ola asked.
"Yes, yes, let's hang." Otis accepted.
"Okay, see you later." Ola replied as she walked off.
Eric started joking by humping the air while saying, "Oh, yeah. Yeah!"
"Stop that." Otis ordered as we all began to walk.
"We all know what "hang" is code for." Eric laughed out.
"Shit, where I'm from it's usually, "Tryna link?" most of the time." I stated.
"It is time to put the theory into practice, my friend." Eric announced.
Before Eric could say anything else, a female student ran up to Otis.
"Sex kid! I think I've got chlamydia, and I read that I should rub bleach on my vagina, is that true?" She rambled.
"I'm not giving out advice anymore, but don't rub bleach anywhere on your body." Otis lectured.
"You're not doing the sex clinic thing anymore?" I asked.
"No, he's not." Eric replied. "He and Ola are now a thing so he wanted to leave Maeve and the sex clinic in the past." He explained.
"No, no, with Maeve, I just haven't heard from her in a while." Otis clarifies.
"Hope she's doing alright." I thought to myself. "After hearing that she's going to get expelled soon, I've been hella worried about her."
"Excuse me, Otto." Another female student approaches. "Can one get chlamydia of the eye?"
"Okay, it's Otis, and if infected genital fluids got into your eye, then, yes, you can have chlamydia of the eye." Otis lectured.
"But I never had sex." The female student claimed.
"It's probably conjunctivitis, but I'm not giving advice anymore, so go to your doctor please." Otis advised.
"Uh, you have to help them." Eric states.
"I agree, because I can guarantee that a lot of people are eventually going to assume that they can get AIDS from hugging." I assumed.
"It's not the same without Maeve." Otis points out.
"Why? Her job is so easy." Eric notes. "It's just booking appointments and taking money, me and Asia could do that for you."
"Right, my mom works as a secretary so I know a thing or two about booking appointments." I informed.
"And I got a B plus in business studies last year." Eric adds.
"You never did business studies." Otis points out.
"That's irrelevant." Eric denies.
A male student then approached Otis.
"Let me guess, you think you have chlamydia?" Otis asked.
"No, my girlfriend says my cum tastes like kimchi." The male student states.
The fuck? Okay, I've heard of someone tasting like pineapples but not kimchi.
"Why do I have a fermented dick?" He asked.
"Well, the taste of semen varies from person to person." Otis states. "I can only suggest you have a healthy and balance diet." He suggested. "However, I'm not giving advice anymore, so you'll have to get help somewhere else." Otis advised as the male student walked off.
Eric then began to snap his fingers.
"Admit it: you like giving advice." Eric points out.
"Listen, Maeve has moved on, and so have I." Otis announced. "That's it, okay, end of story." He concludes.
Eric groaned in frustration.
"Why are you running from your true calling?" He asked.
"I'm not running." Otis argued as he hurried up at the stair.
"It's literally in your DNA, Otis!" Eric states.
"Damn, guys, wait up! I can't fall and bust my ass on these stairs!" I called out.
After that happened, we then made our way to the assembly where Asking For Treble was performing.
I looked around to see majority of the people wearing masks then shook my head.
"Otis should try to bring the sex clinic back, it should stop this mass hysteria shit." I thought to myself.
I then looked over at Jackson, who looked like he was in his own thoughts. I haven't spoke to him since the school dance and after he got dumped by Maeve, I don't know if he wants to hear from me or anyone for that matter.
Eric tapped my shoulder and whispered,
"Apparently Fiona Brady is patient zero."
I looked at the stage to see one girl with pigtails getting scolded at by another memeber.
"She had an orgy at music camp and it spread from there." Eric continued.
"It is highly unlikely that this many people have chlamydia." Otis states.
"I do agree, unless they've been doing what Eric claimed." I added in.
"Like I said, I think it's a classic case of mass hysteria." Otis claims.
Otis could be right because ain't no way in hell that many people got chlamydia in more or less 24 hours.
"What the fuck are you doing?" One of the female members scolds Fiona. "You stood on my foot."
Next thing I know, these three girls were arguing during the performance.
"Ow!"
"I'm sorry!"
"Stop!"
"Get off!"
"If you hadn't been such a slut in the first place, we wouldn't be in this situation."
"Shut the fuck up!"
The crowd gasped after hearing that. I noticed Fiona then beginning to cry.
"Are you actually crying?" One girl mocked.
"You dirty fucker." The other girl insulted.
"Oh my God, they're butchering Jermaine Stewart." Eric comments.
"At least I'm not miming." Fiona insults.
The other girl shoved Fiona's face.
"Stupid bitch!" She insulted.
It was low-key becoming a shit show.
Otis got up.
"I'm sorry but I have to go." Otis announced as he got up.
Eric gasped and tried his hardest not to laugh.
When Otis got passed me, I realized what Eric was laughing at.
All I could think of was, "How you get a boner during this?"
When Otis left I noticed all three of the girls shoving each other
"Don't push me."
"You've ruined this for every-ow!"
After the performance, Mr. Hendricks came out.
"Whoo! Let's give it up for Asking For Treble." He announced as everyone clapped.
I got up and walked out of the auditorium.
"Eric better really convince Otis to bring back the sex clinic." I thought to myself.
Maeve's POV
Maeve was working at a pretzel shop at a mall. She was standing there, pretty miserable. Maeve's phone chimed a texted from Aimee.
SCHOOL HAS SEX PLAGUE!!! Wish you were here...
An elderly man came up to Maeve with his chocolate covered pretzel.
"More chocolate." He requested.
"Sir, I've covered your pretzel in chocolate three times now." Maeve points out.
"More chocolate." The elderly man repeats a bit more rudely.
Maeve grabbed his tray and then grabbed the bottle of chocolate sauce and squeezed it all into one big pile onto the elderly man's pretzel. However, Maeve looked to her right to see a woman with a stroller approaching her.
A very familiar woman...
"You've got to be kidding me." Maeve muttered.
The woman with the stroller noticed that she's been spotted and then turned to walk the other direction.
Maeve took her work uniform off and began to chase after the woman, ignoring her boss's order for her to come back.
The chase was on.
Maeve pushed pass and bumped into some people trying to catch up to the woman until she found her hiding in a yarn store.
Maeve banged on the window and shouted,
"I can see you."
The woman popped her head up and sighed in defeat.
Now, who is this familiar woman?
Well, it was none other than Erin Wiley, Maeve's mother.
"Hi Frogface, it's me, mum." She greets.
"Yes, I know who you are." Maeve angrily states. "What do you want?"
Erin came out to talk to Maeve, while Maeve thought,
"Out of all people, why it had to be her?"
Otis' POV
Otis came out the bathroom stall where Eric was waiting for him outside.
"Nice wank?" Eric teased.
"I told you I have a problem." Otis groaned in embarrassment.
"Jesus is Lord." Eric chuckled out as they both left the bathroom.
Once they were by the lockers, Asia ran up to them.
"There you are." She panted out. "This "Everyone has chlamydia" bullshit needs to end." She states.
One of the acapella girls, Fiona, walked up to all three of them.
"Can I talk to you?" She asked Otis. "Martha and Gwen are going to kick me out of the acapella group if I don't own up to giving them chlamydia, but it's not me." Explained Fiona. "I've been tested and I don't have it." She clarifies.
"I'm not giving out advice anymore, but I don't actually think anyone has chlamydia, it's just mass hysteria." Otis claimed.
"No, they definitely did have it." Fiona states. "They've been tested and treated but they're convinced it's my fault, and now everyone in school thinks I'm a walking STI." She adds.
"I heard Fiona caught chlamydia from doing a bukakke with five guys." One student gossiped as they walked by.
"Ugh, what a slut." The other student commented.
"Please, this is so humiliating." Fiona pleads. "I don't know what to do."
"See, this is why you need to bring back the sex clinic dude." Asia states. "With or without Maeve."
Otis looked at Asia and then at Eric and sighed.
"Okay, um, this is Eric and Asia." He introduced. "They're both in charge of appointments, they'll both you in."
"I don't have a diary yet, but I'll just use the natural organizational skills of my brain." Eric announces.
"I got an old notebook that's mostly blank." Asia adds in.
Fiona smiled as she thanked all three of them and walked off.
"Operation Chlamydia Culprit is a go." Asia announces as she high fives Eric.
My POV
We had the three girls meet up in the old bathroom, where Eric stood out on guard duty. I was with Fiona behind one of the stalls while Otis talks to Martha and Gwen.
"Right." Otis begins. "Why do you guys think it was Fiona that give you chlamydia?" He questioned.
"She had a threesome at music camp." Gwen claimed.
"And gave Sammy Watson a hand job during Mozart's Concerto 21." Martha adds in.
"And everybody knows she put Jamal Jacob's clarinet up her fanny." Gwen also adds in.
Otis stopped them.
"Can we please stop slut-shaming Fiona?" He asked. "She has had a full sexual health checkup and is clear of STIs, and neither of you have slept with her, so I don't understand how you could possibly think she gave it to you." He explained.
"Exactly, make that make sense." I mouthed as Fiona nods.
"Because she put her slutty mouth all over our shared pitch whistle." Martha insults.
"Yeah that's how we caught it!" Gwen agrees.
Okay, I know you can get sick from sharing a pitch whistle but chlamydia ain't one of them.
Fiona stepped out from behind the stall.
"I don't have chlamydia!" She yelled. "How many times have I told you?"
Then there was a lot of shouting and arguing, so I decided to help Otis by slamming my fist against the stall to grab their attention.
"Listen to the man, will ya?" I ordered.
"Um, thank you, Asia." Otis thanked. "Even if Fiona had chlamydia, which she doesn't, you cannot catch an STI from a pitch whistle." He points out.
"I mean, you still can get sick overall for sharing mouth objects, but chlamydia ain't one of them." I added.
"It's too late." Fiona sighed in defeat. "Everyone still thinks it's me anyway."
"You guys are sexually active, right?" Otis asked Martha and Gwen.
"Yeah?" Both of them responded in sync.
"With multiple partners?" Otis adds.
"Yeah." Both of them responded again.
"Great." Otis states. "Well, I'm going to need both of you to make a list of everyone you've had recent sexual contact with so we can find out who it really was." He instructed. "Then you can start telling people it wasn't Fiona."
Otis hands them a notebook for them to write down their sex partners.
"You're doing a good job man." I complimented.
"Thanks, I'm just helping someone out." Otis chuckled out.
After they wrote down the names, we did our best to track down all the sex partners and we've gotten nothing so far.
"So, we've spoken to Luke Hanratty and Niall Spencer, and they've both been tested negative." Otis reviewed. "Martha said she only kissed Tom Baker, so we can cross him off the list." He adds.
Eric looked up and his eyes grew a bit wide.
"Oh my God..." He muttered out.
I looked to see what he was looking at and damn, I gotta say the same as well.
Walking down the halls was a light skinned guy with short black hair. I will admit, he looked fine as hell.
"What are you two looking at?" Otis asked.
"The hottest man I've ever seen just walked by, and you weren't paying attention because of chlamydia." Eric explained.
"Is he on the list? I don't think I've seen him here before." I questioned.
"He's probably new." Otis dismissed. "He doesn't count for now."
"How many names are on the list right now?" I asked.
"Only one left." Otis states. "And it's..." Otis paused as he showed Eric the name. Eric's jaw dropped.
"What? Who is it?" I asked as I grabbed the notebook.
My eyes grew wide at who it was.
There's no way in hell it could be him!
Jackson's POV
Jackson was walking up the steps when he heard Otis calling out for him.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!" Otis exclaimed. "J-Dog, it's O-Town." He greets.
Jackson didn't want to be bothered with Otis.
"What do you want?" He asked.
"Well..." Otis began.
"We were wondering why you gave the acapella group chlamydia." Eric finished.
Jackson was a bit taken aback.
"Pardon?" He asked.
"We were wondering-"
Otis cut Eric off.
"It would seem that...you had relations with Martha and Gwen who then both had chlamydia." Otis explained. "So I'm just trying to-"
Jackson cut him off.
"I never have sex without protection." He claimed. "I've also been tested and I can show you the results if you don't believe me."
"That would be nice." Asia replied.
"That's what we want, Jackson Marchetti." Eric states.
Jackson reached into his jacket pocket to pull out his phone. He then showed them an email that had his results from a recent STD testing.
"He's clean." Asia announced.
"Uh, yeah, you're good." Otis stammers out.
"Thank you for taking such an active interest in my sex life." Jackson thanked sarcastically.
Otis nodded as they began to walk off, but Jackson stopped Asia.
"Hey, Asia?" Jackson asked.
"What's up?" Asia asked.
"Um, have you've heard from Maeve recently?" Jackson asked.
"To be honest, no, why?" Asia asked.
Jackson sighed.
"Nothing, thanks anyway." Jackson thanked as he walked off.
My POV
I guess he really does miss Maeve. I don't blame him, I miss her too.
"Why does Jackson hate you now?" Eric asked Otis.
Before Otis could answer, he looked down to see that he has a boner.
Me and Eric both started laughing.
"Shut up." Otis grumbled out.
"Dude, you're erect again!" Eric laughed.
Otis hurried off to find a bathroom.
"Was it the chlamydia or Jackson that gave you a hard-on?" Eric teased. "Oh, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow."
Yeah, dude's a virgin virgin forreal.
Maeve's POV
Maeve and Erin sat down at the food court to talk.
"Your sister's got big, ain't she?" Erin begins.
"Half sister." Maeve corrects.
"I grew you in the same womb, you're sisters." Erin clarifies.
"So you got her back then?" Maeve asked.
"She was only at her dad's mum's for a bit, it was a blip." Erin explained. "I bet you got a right fright, didn't you? Seeing me out of the blue?" She asked.
"Yeah." Maeve replied.
It was silent until Erin spoke again.
"I'm on step nine of NA." She announced. "Making amends to those-"
Maeve cut her off.
"You've harmed in the past." Maeve finished. "We've been here before, Erin."
"Don't call me Erin, I'm your mother." Erin ordered. "It's different this time."
Maeve found it hard to believe.
"I've got a proper sponsor, been clean for a year." Erin explained. "I was waiting until I was really stable before I came back, and here I am."
"So nice of you to fit me into your schedule." Maeve spoke unenthusiastically.
"Some things don't change." Erin points out.
"I think you'll find quite a lot has changed, Erin." Maeve disagreed with her mouth full.
"Don't talk with your mouth full." Erin lectured.
Maeve set her burger down.
"You know what?" She begins. "I don't really feel like making amends this time." Maeve states as she got up and began to walk off.
"You haven't finished your burger!" Erin calls out.
Otis' POV
Otis and Ola were in Ola's bedroom. They were making out while Ola began to palm at Otis' crotch.
"Is that okay?" Ola whispered out.
"That is okay." Otis responded.
They continued to make out until Ola rolled over on top of him. When Ola pulled Otis' pants down she began to stroke him. However, it wasn't turning Otis on.
"What happened?" Ola asked.
"Um, nothing, just keep going." Otis replied.
Ola continued but still got the same results.
"Why isn't it getting hard?" Ola asked as Otis got up.
"I don't know, I don't know." Otis responded. "Sorry, I can't."
Ola called out,
"I'm sorry, please just come back."
When Otis ran out the room, his pants was still down to his thighs. This led to Otis exclaiming as he tumbled down the stairs. Otis groaned in pain.
"Are you okay?" Ola asked as she made her way down stairs.
"Otis!" Otis heard Jean call.
Otis looked up to see Ola's dad, Jakob, on top of Jean.
"Mum!" Otis exclaimed.
"Dad?" Ola exclaimed in disgust.
"What the fuck!" Otis exclaimed.
"I'm sorry." Jakob apologized as he got up, using a pillow to cover his crotch. Unfortunately, Jakob stumbled backwards and fell onto a wooden table, breaking it in the process.
"I'm sorry." Jakob apologized again while laying on the floor covering his junk.
All Ola and Otis could do was groan in embarrassment.
"Why? Just why?" Otis thought to himself.
After everyone fixed themselves up, Jean and Jakob sat Ola and Otis down in the kitchen.
"We didn't want our relationship to affect your relationship." Jean assures.
"Relationship?" Otis asked.
"Your mother and I are dating." Jakob announces.
Otis shook his head in disbelief, knowing his mother's history.
"My mum doesn't date." Otis stated. "Tell him, mum."
"Jakob and I are dating." Jean repeats.
"What, you mean like having casual sex?" Otis asked.
"Otis..." Ola began.
"Darling, it's...not just casual." Jean clarified.
Otis was silent.
"Is there anything you want to say?" Jean asked. "This is a safe space where you can express negative feelings." She assured him.
"You're dating my girlfriend's dad." Otis points out irritated. "I was just starting to feel like a normal teenager, and now you go and make me feel like a freak, again!" He ranted as he got up and stormed off.
"Otis..." Jean called out as she heard the door slam shut.
"It's all right." Jakob assured her. "He'll come around." He adds. "This is a good thing." Jakob states.
All Jean could do was exhale.
No POV
It was now another day at Moordale, but this time a parent meeting was being held in the auditorium.
"Our children are dying!" One father yelled out.
All the parents shouted in agreement.
"And how will you stop them from dying?" Another father asked.
"Well, we are encouraging all students to get treated with antibiotics, and we will be re-educating them on safer sex practices." Headmaster Groff explained. "Everything is fine." He reassured.
"Teenagers don't listen!" One mother shouts out.
Jean then spoke up.
"How will you be re-educating them on safer sex practices?" She asked.
"Well, by re-educating them on safer sex..." Headmaster Groff begins. "...practices." He finished.
Jean stands up.
"I believe what we're dealing with here is an outbreak of STI hysteria, rather than an outbreak of chlamydia." Jean points out. "You cannot catch this disease through breathing." She added. "It is spread through genital fluids, exchanged during unprotected sex."
Headmaster Groff nods his head in agreement.
"However, it is the misinformation about the disease that's hugely problematic." Jean continued. "It comes shrouded in shame and misunderstanding, and is precisely how this kind of hysteria is spread."
All the parents murmured in agreement.
"So, how will you be addressing that?" Jean asked as she sat back down.
"We will be returning to our tried and tested sex education curriculum."
All the parents groaned.
"Well, with all due respect, sir, your curriculum isn't working." Jean politely criticized. "As a sexual health professional, may I suggest that you look into tailoring your program to give our teenagers the correct tools to able to free themselves from this unwarranted sigma?" She suggested.
"And what exactly are those tools?" Headmaster Groff asked.
"The three Ts." Jean states. "Trust, Talking, and Truth."
Mr. Hendricks stood up and took off his mask then started clapping. Everyone else immediately joined in.
"That's what we need! Right there!" Mr. Hendricks praised.
"Yes...thank you." Headmaster Groff thanked.
When Jean sat down, Jakob whispered in her ear,
"You are very sexy when you're passionate."
Jean chuckled, knowing that she might've came up with something to fix the hysteria.
Jackson's POV
Jackson was laying in his bed, staring at the ceiling. He then looked over and grabbed his phone then opened it to his contacts.
Jackson was contemplating on whether or not to talk to Maeve to see how she's doing. All of a sudden, he heard his moms arguing downstairs.
"Of course he's got a training plan, Roz."
"The couch says he's got to focus."
"Well, he's lost all of his focus since he broke up with that girl."
"He had his first heartbreak, it's normal."
Jackson got up and went downstairs to see what's up.
"I told you, we should never have let him date her." Sofiia harshly states.
"Oh, as long as it's my fault then." Roz points out.
"What? How are you making this about you?" Sofia asked.
"I'm here too, you know." Roz stated.
"Don't we know it." Sofia responds.
They both stopped arguing once they saw Jackson standing right there.
"You're right, mum." Jackson began. "I haven't been focused." He agreed. "But I really want to see this through, and I'm going to make you proud." Jackson declared. "Both of you, I promise."
Both of his moms looked at him with a nod and a small smile.
"Now, please just...just stop fighting." Jackson begged.
Otis' POV
Otis and Eric were going over who they've spoken to, regarding the STI incident.
"So, everyone's clean...we got nothing." Otis sighed out.
"I mean, the rumor will die down eventually." Eric claimed, trying to brighten Otis up.
"Who do you have it out for?" One jock asked.
"That choir chick Fiona, I heard she banged majority of the guys here." Another jock replied.
"Oh, man, she's dirty." Another jock laughed out.
Otis and Eric looked at each other.
"We need to talk to the girls again." Otis spoke as he got up.
"Speaking of dirty, sexy times..." Eric began with a smirk.
Otis knew what he was about to ask.
"I don't want to talk about it." Otis muttered.
Otis then saw Ola walking by and then quickly hid underneath the table.
"I'm guessing something very bad happened." Eric points out.
Otis took Eric to the bathroom, the only place he could think of that's confidential.
"What?" Eric began.
"Okay, um...so Ola and I tried to, you know-"
"Have sex?"
"No, but we tried to do more than kissing and she-"
"Wanked you off?"
"And I couldn't-"
"Get hard."
"So now I'm wondering whether maybe I've masturbated so much that my penis has run out of erections." Otis concluded.
Eric couldn't help but laugh.
"Eric, it's not funny." Otis scolded.
All of a sudden, they heard the toilet rattle a bit, meaning that someone was here.
"Who goes there?" Otis asked.
Owen then steps out.
"Well, I wasn't going to come out because what you're talking about is very strange and embarrassing and I thought it would be awkward." He explained.
Owen was about to head for the exit but Eric stopped him.
"You should wash your hands, you dirty pig!" Eric lectured in disgust.
"I didn't do a poo." Owen defends. "I was crying."
"Oh...right, well I hope you're okay." Otis said.
"Thank you." Owen thanked as he walked out the restroom.
"What an odd little man." Eric comments.
Jackson's POV
Jackson was in the fitness room, spotting someone doing pull downs.
"Good form, man." Jackson comments.
Once the guy was done, another guy stepped up to do his reps.
While the guy was doing his set, Jackson was staring at the weights.
He then felt his heart racing every time the weights slammed down.
And then...Jackson did the unthinkable.
He placed his hand down on the weights making the remaining weights slam down on his hand, smashing it.
"Fuck! Shit! Bollocks!" Jackson yelled out in pain.
The guy immediately stopped his set as everyone in the fitness room rushed to Jackson's aid.
"Get coach! C'mon! Get an ambulance!" One of the guys ordered.
Jackson stared at his hand to see starting to swell up and bruise.
"Shit." He panted out.
While it was a pretty reckless thing to do, Jackson was hoping that this was his key to escaping the prison he's trapped in.

The Loner and The Star 8: Jackson Marchetti (Sex Education)
October 8th, 2020
It has been a few weeks since the school dance disaster. Liam became the talk of the hallways, Otis and Eric are best buds again, Aimee and Steve are dating now, the only people I haven't gotten an update on was Maeve and Jackson. However, they should be the least of my concerns right now. While I'm still sour about Otis outing me, he did make valid points when it came to love and what not. So, I'm just going to be minding my business from now on and whatever happens, happens. One question I had was...is me and Maeve still cool?
"So that's what happened at the school dance?" Aimee asked.
I nodded my head.
"Have you asked Maeve if you and her are still friends?" Aimee asked.
"No, and I'm afraid as well." I responded. "And after the shit with Otis, I don't think she wants to be bothered with anyone." I added.
"Let's give her some space for now." Aimee advised. "Whatever happens in the end, I'll still be a sister to both of you."
Aimee then hugged me tight as we both got up from the lunch table.
However, the feeling of guilt still remains in my body as my heart began to race.
What if she's pissed at me liking Jackson?
Is she going to assume that I was after him the whole time?
What does Jackson think of this now?
A lot of questions were circling through my head as I continued to walk.
"I feel like I'm fucked." I thought to myself.
Jackson's POV
Jackson was asleep next to Maeve in her caravan. He woke up to the sound of his phone alarm going off and then hits 'dismiss' then went back to sleep.
"Haven't you got training?" Maeve asked.
"Not going." Jackson declined. "Can't be bothered."
"Hey." Jackson begins. "You know what I said before...like, the whole, "I love you" thing, I was seriously wasted." He clarifies. "So I don't expect you to, like...say it back or anything, you know?" Jackson assures Maeve.
"Okay." Maeve replied as Jackson rubs her arm.
Otis' POV
Otis was in the study room, feeling completely frustrated. Eric noticed and began to speak.
"Are you frustrated about something regarding your mum?" Eric asked.
"Oh, no, I mean, it's about Ola." Otis states.
"What? You had an actual date to the dance, that's progress." Eric points out.
"I called her a goat and she left." Otis admits.
"Still, an improvement." Eric reassures him. "Anyway, I thought you called her a house cat."
"Yeah, I also called her a goat." Otis stated.
"Do you like Ola?" Eric asked.
Otis couldn't lie, he thought that he and Ola had a better connection than he and Maeve. Plus, Maeve is in a relationship with Jackson, so what's stopping Otis from moving on.
"Yeah, I do...a lot." Otis admits.
"Then why did you call her a goat?" Eric questioned.
"Promise not to laugh." Otis pleads. "She seemed to think that there was something going on between Maeve and I, romantically, and-"
Eric laughed, cutting Otis off, but quickly stopped.
"Sorry, not the funny part." Eric apologized.
"I was trying to reassure her how ridiculous that was, because someone like Maeve is never gonna be interested in me, because I'm a loser and she is a lioness." Otis continued to explain.
"Aaah, therefore, Ola is a house cat." Eric acknowledged. "Wow...Otis, you know, for a sex therapist, you are surprisingly insensitive." Eric comments.
"It wasn't just that but after Jackson told Maeve that he paid me to tell him what Maeve likes, Asia had the nerve to just shake her head like I'm the only bad guy in this." Otis ranted. "She has a crush on Jackson, so she probably was using Maeve to get close to him."
"To be fair, while she did have a crush on him, she didn't let that come between her and Maeve because she does care about people, let alone Maeve." Eric justifies.
"Since when did Asia started caring about anyone?" Otis asked.
"Need I remind you that she was the one who found me when you abandoned me?" Eric points out.
"That's in the past!" Otis exclaimed.
Maeve's POV
Maeve eventually arrived at the school. However, she was met with a bit of a surprise.
"Maeve Wiley and Otis Milburn to Mr. Groff's office."
The PA spoke.
Maeve was confused but made her way to Headmaster Groff's office where Otis was already sitting down in the waiting room. She sat down next to him and then there was awkward silence.
"Look...about what happened I-"
Maeve cut Otis off.
"I'm over it." She states.
The door opened as Headmaster Groff calls for Maeve.
While sitting down, Headmaster Groff began to speak.
"I've been watching you and your little friend." He begins. "Meeting up before school, hanging around after hours, secret whispers, exchanging money." He notes.
"Okay, well.. we're just hanging out." Maeve states.
"I think you've been doing a lot more than just enjoying each other's company." Headmaster Groff states.
He then takes out the small bag containing the drugs and planted them on the desk for Maeve to see.
"Sean! That fucking prick!" Maeve thought to herself.
"I know all about your drug ring." Headmaster Groff acknowledges.
"They're not mine." Maeve denies.
Headmaster Groff gets up and walks around the room.
"You expect me to believe that that spineless beanpole Milburn...is responsible for dealing hard drugs?" He questions.
"Otis had nothing to do with it." Maeve defends. "These are study drugs, sir, they're not-"
Headmaster Groff cuts him off.
"You seem to know an awful lot about them, considering you had absolutely nothing to do with it." Headmaster Groff badgered. "Did you and your little friend get them from your brother?" He asked.
Maeve shook her head no.
"Oh, yes." Headmaster Groff begins. "I know all about your unsavory family history." He informs. "And you...have let an innocent child like Milburn be turned into a drug mule." He accused.
"Otis didn't do anything." Maeve objected. "Leave him out of it."
Headmaster Groff then picked up the phone, much to Maeve's confusion.
"What are you doing?" She asked.
Headmaster Groff began to dial before he speaks.
"I'm reporting your brother to the police." He announces.
She didn't want her brother to go to jail, so Maeve stopped Headmaster Groff.
"Wait." She began. "They're mine." She lied.
Headmaster Groff puts the phone down and sits down.
"What happens now?" Maeve asked.
"You're going to tell me exactly what happened at the school dance, and then you will face an external tribunal who will decide whether you have a future at this school." Headmaster Groff instructed.
Maeve looked down, realizing that there was a possibility that she would be expelled.
Once out the office, Otis followed Maeve.
"You're not in any trouble." Maeve assures him. "I sorted it."
"Okay, what...what happened?" Otis asked.
Maeve stayed quiet.
"Are we...are we not gonna talk about this? Is that it?" Otis questioned.
"I trusted you, Otis." Maeve states as she walks off, leaving Otis alone.
After school was done, Maeve met Jackson back at her caravan area and listened to him rant.
"She is so selfish." Jackson continued. "She pretends the crazy food regime and early mornings is for my benefit, but it's all about her." He adds. "I don't even know if I like anything except swimming." Jackson admits.
"Shut up." Maeve ordered.
"What?" Jackson asked.
"You don't know how lucky you are." Maeve begins. "She gets up every morning to take you to swimming." She points out. "She goes to all your races." She adds. "She cries when you lose." She adds again.
"Wh-"
Maeve continued, cutting him off.
"She shows you everyday that she loves you." Maeve points out. "What's the problem?" She asked.
"I'm not..." Jackson began but he cut himself off.
"It might be annoying but at least she cares." Maeve assures him. "Maybe just tell her the truth about how you feel."
Jackson grew quiet.
"I didn't mean to snap, sorry." Maeve apologized.
Maeve then noticed Sean by the caravan drinking as she gets up.
"I need to go talk to my idiot brother." She announces as she walks off.
Jackson's POV
Jackson tuts as he gets up and walked down the hill. He went inside the place while Maeve stayed outside to talk to Sean.
He went into Maeve's room and laid down on her bed. Jackson then noticed something wooly next to him and picked it up to see that it's a sweater. However, what really caught Jackson's eye was what was stitched on the tag.
Otis Milburn
A lot of thoughts ran through his head.
Could Maeve have been seeing Otis?
How long they've been seeing each other behind Jackson's back?
Does Maeve really like Otis more than him?
It was all a million questions that Jackson wanted one answer to.
My POV
For a few days, I've been contemplating on whether or not to ask Maeve on where we stand as friends. Part of me want to say that it's safe to assume that we aren't and that it's probably for the best. I sighed as I closed my locker door, only to jump out of my skin to see Maeve right next to me.
"FUCKING SHIT!" I screamed out. "Hi...Maeve." I greeted as I held my chest.
"You and me, old bathroom stalls." Maeve ordered as she grabbed me by the arm and led me outside to the old bathroom stalls.
Once we were there, Maeve sat down.
"Alright, be honest with me." Maeve begins." Do you like Jackson?"
I knew that if I lied, that's gonna make shit worse so I 'fessed up.
"Okay, I may have developed a very small crush on Jackson." I responded beating around the bush. "But I had a feeling he liked you so I didn't say anything and I tried to move on because I remembered what Otis said at the dance to that stalker guy and-"
Maeve covered my mouth.
"You talk too fast." She comments. "I'm not mad." She reassures me.
Huh?
"I'm going to uncover your mouth now, so chill the fuck out." Maeve announced as she uncovered my mouth.
"How the hell are you not mad?" I asked.
"Because me and Jackson aren't together anymore." Maeve responded.
Whaaaaatttttttt!?
"I broke up with him earlier after leaving Mr. Groff's office." She briefly explained.
"But why? You looked like you were so in love with him." I pointed out.
"The...relationship was too much." Maeve states. "Jackson was too much."
I frowned.
"I just don't...love him like how he loves me." Maeve continued. "Not only that but, he believes that I like someone else."
And I think I know who as well, but I'm not going to bring him up in this.
"It's okay...some relationships don't work out." I assured her as Maeve began to sniffle.
"It's not just that." Maeve sobbed. "I'm probably getting expelled from here as well."
Now I know you fucking lyin'!
"What 'chu mean you gettin' expelled!?" I yelled out.
"It's...for something that my brother did at the dance." Maeve replied. "I just didn't want him to get in trouble."
"But you shouldn't be taking the fall for something that was entirely his fault." I disagreed.
"You don't understand!" Maeve cried out. "He and my little sister are all I have left! My mum's a junkie and my dad had fucked off for as long as I could remember...they're all I've got." Maeve blubbered.
I just stood there in shock as Maeve continued to break down and cry. I didn't say anything, I just rubbed Maeve's back and let her have her cry.
Damn...just damn.
Jackson's POV
Jackson was already in a shitty mood, both with his mum and with Maeve breaking up with him. Jackson was already in his own thoughts as he sat in front of Mr. Groff.
"Thank you for coming to see me." Headmaster Groff begins. "I fully appreciate, as head boy, you have a very full schedule with your fellow students, and also classes to attend, but I did feel that it was important to tell you that you are one of Moordale's proudest achievements."
Jackson was hardly even listening.
"It would be a tragedy to watch you waste your gift and miss this race." Headmaster Groff continued. "We all go through rough times, but your future is very bright." He assures Jackson.
"This isn't about my future, sir, this is about your sports fundin'" Jackson states, calling bullshit.
"No, it's uh..." Headmaster Groff stutters out before he admits. "Well, ye-yes,okay, sure, but just a little bit but it...we do really care about you."
"Okay...I'll swim." Jackson declares.
"Oh, fantastic!" Headmaster Groff burst.
"If..." Jackson continued. "You let Maeve Wiley stay at school." He requests. "You can't expel her." Jackson states. "Want me to swim? Then she stays." He convinced.
Jackson then got up and walked out the office.
My POV
After Maeve had calmed down, we walked back to the lockers. Maeve opened up her locker when The Untouchables appeared up.
Ah, shit, not these fuckers.
"Heard you're getting expelled, Cock Biter." Ruby states. "Oh, well, back to the caravan park, then."
"Bro, mind your fucking business." I scold. "You don't have any better to do?"
"No one's talking to you, Cock Biter 2.0." Anwar insults.
I jumped at him, making them all flinch.
Pussies.
We walked off but I looked to see Aimee walking towards us and grabbing both of our hands.
"What the hell are you doing?" Ruby asked.
"I'm dumping you, for them." Aimee announces.
Ruby let out a scoff like laugh.
"Are you mental?" Ruby asked. "They're a couple of slags."
"Yeah, well, so am I." Aimee claims as we all walked off, leaving The Untouchable dumbfounded.
"You do realizes that we're not slags." Maeve whispered.
"I know ,but it sounded good." Aimee giggles. "Just keep walking."
I will admit, it felt good to know that things are back to normal...well, sorta.
Jackson's POV
It was now D-Day, which is the swim race. Jackson took a deep breath as he walked out to see his mums cheering for him along with Headmaster Groff.
"I'm only doing this for Maeve." He thought to himself. "She deserves to be here."
Jackson stepped up to the diving stand and into the starting position.
Soon as the air horn blasted, Jackson dived in and swam with all he could give.
Jackson won!
Once the race was done, Jackson stepped out of the pool to be approached by Headmaster Groff.
"We knew you could do it!" He bursts with glee. "Well done."
"Is she staying?" Jackson asked, being straight forward.
Headmaster Groff leaned in and muttered,
"I don't take bribes, I suggest you forget about Maeve Wiley."
Headmaster Groff then walked off, leaving Jackson dumbfounded as his coach ran up to him along with his two moms. Jackson was in engulfed in hugs and showered with praises, but he wasn't going to ignore the fact that Maeve is going to be gone forreal.
Maeve's POV
When Maeve was home, she received a mail delivery in the form of a bag. She looked in the bag to see that it was Moordale's school award for best written essay and smiled. Maeve then noticed a note that was from Otis.
Maeve,
I'm so sorry that I hurt you and betrayed your trust. You saw something in me when no one else did. I was just this invisible guy in the corner, and I thought I liked being that way. Then I met you and I figured out I'm actually good at something. I hope you can forgive me and that we can keep doing the clinic together. You're the smartest person I've ever met and this award is yours.
Maeve looked at the award again to see her name written over another student's name then walked into her room to grab Otis' sweater.
"I need to tell him."
Otis' POV
Otis was walking with Ola to his house. He said that there was something he needs to tell Ola.
"I...am an odd person." Otis addressed. "What I mean is that I'm unusual, and if you wanna be with me, then...I mean, not like my girlfriend, like no pressure, but if you wanted to be like a significant other, then...wait, wait, that sounds like marriage, lemme start over-"
Ola cuts him off by grabbing his hands.
Otis calmed down for a bit.
"Okay, what I'm trying to say is...I'm just new to all this and I need to take thing slowly." Otis informs.
"Okay." Ola affirms. "Do you want to kiss me?" She asked.
"Yes, yeah, um...I do." Otis stammered out.
Maeve's POV
Maeve was a few feet away from Otis' house, brimming with confidence to tell him what she wanted to tell while returning his sweater as well.
However, her happiness was short lived when she saw Otis and Ola kissing. Maeve didn't say anything but watched them as she felt tears stinging at her eyes. Maeve sniffled as she walked off.
While walking off, she thought,
"Why did I even bother?"

The Loner and The Star 7: Jackson Marchetti (Sex Education)
Well, I know yesterday was a lot for everyone. Especially between Eric and Otis. Eric didn't tell me much after what happened but I can sense a vibe that he's pretty upset at Otis at the moment.
Well, stuff is gonna go from bad to worse since everyone has been called into a morning assembly.
Once everyone was seated, Headmaster Groff came out onto the stage. I looked over at Jackson to see his arm around Maeve and sighed.
"Just move on Asia, move on." I thought to myself.
Headmaster Groff began to speak.
"Firstly, a very serious warning about pornographic images shared on mobile devices." He begins. "This kind of behavior is not only despicable...but it has very serious consequences that may result in legal action." He lectured. "Now we do not know who sent the photograph in question." He continued. "However, we are continuing to look into it." He finished.
"I heard it's Ruby's vagina." One boy called out as everyone laughed.
"Ruby's got big beef curtains." One girl adds in which made the laughter grow louder.
Damn, these folks are low-key vicious.
All of a sudden, Olivia stood up.
"It's my vagina." She called out.
"Sit down." Headmaster Groff ordered.
"No, that's my vagina in the photo." Olivia insisted.
"Sit down." Headmaster Groff ordered again.
"No it's my vagina." Maeve announced as she shot up.
"Now...thank you Maeve." Headmaster Groff spoke. "Settle down, please."
I couldn't help but join in as well.
I stood up and shouted,
"Y'all wrong, it's my vagina!"
Then Aimee stood up.
"All three of you are wrong, it's my vagina." Aimee announced.
"It...it cannot be all your vaginas." Headmaster Groff points out.
"I also have a vagina." A random girl called out.
"Well, congratulations." Headmaster Groff replied. "Please sit down."
"It's my vagina." Lily called out.
One after another, each girl stood up saying that it's their vagina but what made me laugh was when Jackson stood up as well.
"It's my vagina." He called out.
"You don't have a vagina." Headmaster Groff points out. "You do not have a vagina in the same way that I do not have a vagina."
"It's my vagina."
"Please would you all sit down?"
"It's my vagina."
"It's my vagina."
"it's my vagina."
"Vagina! Bloody vaginas!" Headmaster Groff grumbled.
Ruby then grabs Olivia's hand before she said,
"It's my vagina."
I don't know why but that moment there felt pretty empowering.
After that assembly, it felt like everything was at peace (except for Otis and Eric of course)
I was walking down the hallway when Aimee ran up to me squealing.
"Whoa, what's up?" I asked.
"Didn't you hear? The school dance is tonight!" Aimee exclaimed.
Oh snap, I didn't even know about the school dance.
"The theme is Moonlight Paris and it's going to be so much fun." Aimee gushed. "Who are you going with?"
"Honestly, no one...like I have no one to go with." I admitted. "I wasn't even planning on going but I guess I need to get out the house every once in a while."
"Oh! Can I do your makeup?" Aimee asked. "I've always wonder what you'll look like with dark red lipstick."
I smiled.
"Okay, sure."
No POV
Maeve was walking down the hallway as well when Jackson approached her.
"Hey what shall I pick you up tonight?" He asked.
"What for?" Maeve asked.
"The ball." He simply replied.
"I'm not going to the ball." Maeve declared.
"Course you are, we're going together." Jackson insisted.
"What about me says school dance?" Maeve asked.
"But..." Jackson began before Maeve continued to walk.
"I bought a suit, I got you a corsage." Jackson states.
"You got me a flower handcuff but forgot to invite me?" Maeve points out.
"Yeah...we're going out." Jackson points out. "I thought it was a given."
Maeve just shrugged.
"Oh, c'mon. I've been really looking forward to this." Jackson begged.
"Mm-hmm?" Maeve hummed.
"Me and you, dancin', havin' fun?" Jackson listed "You do know what fun is right? It's what people our age do." He joked.
"Very funny." Maeve commented.
"C'mon, it won't be good without you." Jackson pleads. "C'mon please?"
Maeve rolled her eyes with a smirked.
"Fine." She muttered.
"Yes!" Jackson exclaimed.
When Maeve left, Jackson saw Asia walking by and approached her.
"Hey Asia, I felt like we haven't spoken in a minute." Jackson greets.
"What? It's not like I've been hiding in a cave." Asia joked.
Jackson chuckled.
"Are you going to the dance?" Jackson asked.
"I mean I was just now hearing about it through Aimee." Asia replied. "She wants to do my makeup."
"Got a date?" Jackson asked.
"Dude, I've been here for about 2 months and no one has stepped forward." Asia confirmed. "It's probably for the best."
Soon as Asia walked off, Jackson sighed.
"Poor girl." He thought as he walked off. "Maybe she really is that lonely."
Asia's POV
If only I could find a guy who wouldn't fuck me over.
I sighed as I continued to walk until I've found an empty area outside. I sat down and took out my journal to continue writing my short story.
"Maybe I shouldn't show up to the dance at all or just spend my time in a corner of the room." I thought to myself as I continued to write.
All of a sudden, something hit me on the head. An apple core landed on my lap.
Gross.
"Ayo what the fuck!" I called out from above.
Adam popped his head out from the tree.
"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't know someone was here." He apologized as he got down from the tree.
"Nah, you good bruh." I reassured him.
Adam looked at my journal in my hand.
"What are you writing?" Adam asked.
"Just some short story for my club." I replied. "What are you up to?"
"Nothing, I'm going home soon to get ready for the school dance." Adam explained. "I'm only going because of my dad."
"I don't have a date at all but I'm only going because of Aimee." I told.
"Is...she going with someone?" Adam asked.
"I don't know and that's not my business." I responded.
"Well, I don't have anyone to go with." Adam disclosed. "Uh, do you want to dance? As friends I mean, not like a date, like we could meet at the school and-"
I cut him off.
"Sure, we can dance at the school dance." I accepted. "No strings attached."
"Okay...cool." Adam nods as he walked off.
Well, I guess I have a dance after all.
I then heard the bell ring, meaning it was time I go to my next class. While I was walking down the hallways, I noticed a gruff looking guy and...
Wait!
It's the cashier chick from before!
The cashier chick approached me with wide eyes.
"I remember you." She states. "You were with Otis that one time."
"Yeah, that was me." I affirmed. "Man, it's a small world."
"I know right." She agreed.
"But what are you doing here?" I asked.
"Oh, I'm transferring here." She answered. "Headmaster Groff seemed a bit rigid though."
"Yeah, he is." I agreed.
"Have you've seen Otis?" The girl asked. "If not tell him that Ola says hi and that he never called."
"I will." I accepted.
"I heard The Untouchables are coming in a limousine." One student acknowledged as they walked down the hall.
"Oh my God! If I had a limousine, I would totally have sex in it and film it." Another student prattled as they both continued to walk by.
"Yeah, school dance is happening tonight." I informed Ola. "It's probably nothing big."
"I like dances, I might go." Ola informed.
"I mean, hell, that's up to you." I shrugged.
"Anyway, gotta go, bye!" Ola announced as she walked off.
She seems cool.
"Asia!" I heard someone call out.
I looked to see Otis.
"Hey, some girl named Ola was looking for you." I informed.
"Really? Where is she?" Otis asked.
I pointed up ahead as Otis hurried off. I saw them talk for a bit and then Otis comes back.
"Thanks." He thanked. "I just asked Ola to the dance." He tells.
"Good for you dude." I commented, not honestly giving a fuck.
"Hey, um, have you've seen Eric?" Otis asked.
"Not really since the morning assembly." I replied.
"If you could find him, can you tell him that I'm sorry?" Otis asked.
Yeah, no. Not my mess to clean.
"Sorry Otis, but that's your job to apologize." I counseled. "I already did my job by helping Eric that night and I'm also doing my job right now of butting out." I explained.
"Understandable." Otis sighed as he walked off.
This is going to be a long day, I can feel like.
Maeve's POV
Maeve stepped out of the dressing room in a long and purple velvet dress.
"Well, you look like an angry aubergine." Her brother, Sean, comments.
"Yeah, well I can't afford it anyway, so..." Maeve states as Sean gets up.
"Can't Action Man buy you a dress?" Sean asked, referring to Jackson.
"His name is Jackson." Maeve clarifies. "And, no, I'm not his housewife." She adds.
Maeve then asks,
"Why does he annoy you so much?"
"He doesn't." Sean assured. "I actually quite like him." He states.
However, he then says,
"I'm just not sure that he's the right guy for you, that's all."
Sean then grabs a short black lace dress.
"Try this one." Sean prompted. "It's a little bit less of magician's assistant." He comments.
Maeve snatched the dress away.
"I'm happy with Jackson, all right?" She clarifies as she walks into the dressing room.
"Well, fine." Sean acquiesced. "Have a lovely life watching Sergeant Do-Good swim while you raise an army of his perfect children." He teases. "Whatever."
Maeve puts the dress on and stands in the mirror. She chuckled as she admired the dress since it was in her style.
"Well?" Sean asked from the other side.
"Yeah, it's actually nice." Maeve comments.
However, Maeve's mood changed once she looked at the price tag.
"I told you my price limit." Maeve chided. "This is way too expensive."
When Maeve stepped out of the dressing room, Sean was no where to be found.
Then there was the sound of the PA chime along with Sean's voice.
"Hello." He greets. "I am so sorry for interrupting your shopping today, but my little sister, Maeve, is going to her first school dance tonight and she has just found the perfect dress." He informs everyone in the shop.
Maeve stepped out, which grabbed Sean's attention.
"There she is!" Sean announced. "Come on out, Maeve, c'mon." He encourages.
Maeve slowly stepped out as everyone began to look at her.
"Doesn't she look pretty?" Sean asked. "Except, the problem is, we can't afford this dress, because, recently...we were orphaned." He lied.
Maeve was a bit taken aback.
"Earlier this year, our dad, who served this country bravely, died in combat and our mum passed shortly after." Sean explained. "Cancer." He whispered. "But if they had been here today to see my little sister, they would have been so proud of their little girl." Sean continues.
Maeve didn't know whether to call Sean out or just let him continue his fake story.
She let him continue the fake story.
"Now, I know it's unorthodox, but if you could give anything, then we might be able to help my sister get the dress of her dreams." Sean encourages. "Thank you."
The speech tugged at everyone's heart strings as Maeve watched as people began to pull out their wallets.
However, that still wasn't okay with Maeve as her and Sean both stormed out the store with the dress in the bag.
"What is your problem?" Maeve scolds. "You can't say we're orphans!"
"Oh, I'm sorry." Sean sarcastically apologized. "Would you rather I told them that mum's a junkie and that dad fucked off?" He adds. "I don't think they would have enjoyed that story as much." Sean points out. "We were born alone and we will die alone so we might as well get what we can along the way." He ends as he hands Maeve the bag. "You're welcome."
After that, they both began to walk out the mall.
My POV
Aimee came over to my house so she could help me get ready for the dance while my mom was taking pictures.
"Mom." I whined out.
"What? It's been a minute since you've been to a dance, and I want to savor this moment." My mom states as she continued to take photos of Aimee doing my makeup.
Once Aimee was done, I stood up and looked in the mirror.
I...actually looked like a different person.
"You look like a princess." Aimee comments in awe. "All the boys are going to have their eyes on you."
"As long as they don't touch my baby." My mom muttered.
I groaned in embarrassment.
However, I will admit, I haven't felt this pretty in...well it's been so long I couldn't even remember.
"I guess tonight is going to be fun." I thought to myself.
Jackson's POV
Jackson arrived at Maeve's caravan to pick up Maeve. When he knocked on the door, he was greeted by Sean.
"Action Man!" Sean exclaims. "Come in."
Jackson daps Sean up as he walks in.
Jackson sighs before he rants,
"My mum is being such a dick! I have to be home by 10:30."
"You have a curfew? How old are you?" Sean asked.
Maeve then steps out.
"Hey." She greets.
"Have you got anything to drink?" Jackson requested. "I just wanna have a good time."
"Yeah, we have the cheapest vodka available." Sean announces as he pulls out a bottle of clear liquid. "It's pretty much paint stripper, but I promise you it'll do a job."
"Yeah." Jackson chuckled out.
"No." Maeve scolds. "You're driving." She points out.
"No, no, I'll drive." Sean insisted. "It's fine, that means you two can have your romantic evening and, well..fuck curfew." He explained.
Sean pours a glass then hands it to Jackson. Jackson downed the drink with no problem while Maeve looked at Sean and thought,
"This is not going to go well."
Back to me
Me and Aimee arrived up at the school. While we were walking up to the entrance I looked to see Jackson and Maeve.
"Jackson! Maeve!" I called out to get their attention.
"Asia." Maeve spoke as she eyed me up and down. "Wow, look at you."
"Girl, look at you." I commented. "Shoot, I wish I could wear black but my mom wouldn't let me since it's not spring colors."
"Doesn't she look amazing Maeve?" Aimee squealed.
"Yeah, she does." Maeve affirmed.
"She really does." Jackson agrees.
I don't know why but that made my face heat up.
I'm honestly not used to guys complimenting me.
I looked to see a guy next to them handing Jackson a big bottle filled with juice.
"There you go, you may enjoy your alcoholic beverage inside your shitty school ball." The guy tells Jackson as Jackson accepts the drink.
Never pegged Jackson as the type to drink alcohol but not my business.
"Who is that?" Aimee asked.
"My older brother, Sean." Maeve replied.
"I didn't know you had a brother." Aimee states.
Sean then walks into the school, stating that he wants to see his old teachers' faces.
"Uh, hey Asia." I heard a male voice mumble out.
I turned to see Adam in a suit.
"You look great." Adam compliments.
"Thanks bruh, you too." I commented back.
Adam then turned to Aimee, who walked off with some jock.
I guess she really didn't want to talk to Adam at all. I mean, I sorta don't blame her since he broke that urn that had her grandma's ashes in it.
"So...shall we go inside?" I asked.
Adam nods as we walked into the school.
Otis' POV
Otis was walking with Ola down the hall when they ran into Maeve and Jackson.
"You're...you're here." Otis states surprised.
"Yeah." Maeve affirmed with a smile.
"I'm Ola." Ola greets Jackson.
"Jackson." He replies. "Nice to meet you."
"Ola, you remember Maeve." Otis mentioned.
"Yeah, I'm the bad influence." Maeve joked as Ola chuckled.
Then there was awkward silence.
"Well, we should go." Maeve announced. "We've lost my older brother." Maeve walked off with Jackson behind her.
Otis was happy to know that Maeve was here. He couldn't help but admire her looks as he had the biggest smile on his face.
However, he knows that Maeve has Jackson...so he knows he couldn't interfere with anything.
When Otis and Ola got to the gym, they were both sitting down.
"Do you want to dance?" Ola nudged.
"I don't really dance, it's kinda not my thing." Otis replied in an uneasy tone.
"Okay, well I'm still going to dance." Ola announces as she got up.
Otis sat there alone. All he could do was wonder if Maeve was having a good time.
My POV
I will admit, it is a little decent here. But, I'm honestly not dancing or anything. I was just standing around like a complete idiot.
"Heyyy Asia." I heard someone slur out.
I whirled around to see a very intoxicated Jackson very close to my face. I squeaked as I jumped back some because I'm not used to guys being this close to my face.
"Jackson you good bruh?" I asked.
I could smell the alcohol on his breath even if I was a few feet away.
"Yeah, I'm having the life of my time." Jackson giggled out.
I'm sure he meant "time of my life" but he's drunk as fuck.
"Where's Maeve?" I asked. "Shouldn't you be with her?"
"She walked off somewhere...probably trying to find that pastey little muppet." Jackson assumed with a hiccup.
"Otis? I don't think she would be worried about him because doesn't he have a date as well?" I questioned.
"That doesn't mean shite." Jackson slurred out. "She spends more time with him more than she does with the man that loves her."
"I mean, they're running a sex clinic together." I pointed out. "So, I'm pretty sure they're business partners." I assured.
"But she's been my girlfriend for a month now...I'm starting to suspect Otis and he...he...needs to give more advice on how to make Maeve stay with me." Jackson slurred out.
I cocked an eyebrow.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"I'm gonna go find Maeve." Jackson announced as he stumbled off.
I decided to follow him to make sure that he does get to Maeve.
We found Maeve by the entrance.
"Hey." Jackson greeted as he stumbled towards her.
"Sean just left, he took your car." Maeve informed.
"Oh, well, I hope he crashes it!" Jackson chuckles out. "Gimme a kiss."
Jackson leaned in and kissed Maeve then Maeve slowly pushed him off, making him stumble back.
"Whoa, I'm a bit drunk." Jackson states.
Yeah, no shit.
Otis then comes out.
"This is a shit-show huh?" Maeve scoffed.
"Have you guys seen Ola?" Otis asked.
We all shook our heads no.
Otis sighed.
"Alright then." He muttered as he walked off.
"Oh, I don't feel so good." Jackson grumbled out.
"You feel sick?" Maeve asked.
Jackson nodded.
"Asia, mind helping me with him?" Maeve asked.
I nodded as I grabbed one arm and Maeve grabbed the other as we escorted Jackson to a spot where he could rest.
Otis' POV
Otis found Ola in the art room, examining the art work.
"Found the uh...art huh?" Otis began.
"Some of these are quite good." Ola comments.
"Yeah, some of them here are my favorites." Otis adds in as they both looked at a stick figure painting that was from Adam.
"I've never...slept with someone before, by the way." Ola states out of no where.
Otis looked at her confused.
"Okay, um, why did you tell me that?" Otis questioned.
"Just wanted you to know." Ola answered.
"Okay." Otis mumbled out.
"But...did you and Maeve, like, date or something?" Ola wondered. "I'm picking up a vibe."
"No." Otis chuckled out. "Maeve is not the sort of person would would, you know, date me."
"What does that mean?" Ola asked.
"Well, um...Maeve is considerably higher up on the food chain than I am." Otis answered. "You know, I'm like a kangaroo or an armadillo, whereas Maeve's like a panther, or even a lion." He specified.
"So what am I on the food chain?" Ola asked.
"You could be like...you know those goats that stand really steep cliffs and just kind of stick?" Otis hinted.
"I'm a goat?" Ola asked, feeling a bit offended.
"No, I mean you don't look like a goat." Otis clarifies. "You could be, like, a house cat, if you don't like goats." He suggested while clearing his throat. "You know, the skinny ones that just stare at you."
"Okay, I'm a skinny house cat and she's a lion." Ola states.
"Oh, no, Maeve is unattainable, and you're-"
Ola cuts him off.
"You're not a kangaroo, Otis." She begins. "You're an arsehole." Ola angrily corrects. She then scoffed as she walked off.
"Ola, I mean..." Otis began but she was already out the room.
"Fucking idiot." Otis muttered to himself.
My POV
Okay, this dance is low-key starting to die down. I looked around the room for Aimee but assumed that she's with that jock guy, Steve, or whatever his name was.
All of a sudden, I saw someone walk into the gym and...
Oh shit, it's Eric!
"Eric!" I called out as I hurried towards him.
"Hey Asia." Eric greets as he hugs me.
"Man, you look fire as fuck." I commented.
"Thank you." Eric chuckled out.
"I'm honestly surprised you're here, this dance is low-key dead." I commented.
"I just wanted to get out the house." Eric explained. "And the music here is kinda boring."
Then a lightbulb lit up above my head as I made my way to the stage. I motioned one of the band members over and then whispered in his ear. The band member nodded as I got on stage and hooked my phone up to one of the speakers, which caught everyone's attention.
Then...I played "Tambourine" by Eve.
Eric looked at me with wide eyes as I got down from the stage and we both made our way to the center of the dance floor.
I know one thing; I may not have been popular back at my other high school but I know that I've twerked better than half of the girls in my class.
Everyone began to cheer as I began to twerk, which Eric then joins in. We were now attracting a crowd with our twerking skills.
However, we had competition as Anwar made his way to the center and started twerking.
"He wants the smoke?" I asked Eric.
"Then let's light his ass on fire!" Eric exclaimed as we both began to give it all we got.
When the song was about to end, me and Eric finished by striking a pose. The crowd went wild.
Me and Eric high fived each other.
"You got skills." Eric compliments.
"I can say the same with you." I giggled as we hugged. "That's how we do it where I'm from."
The microphone squeals as Mr. Hendricks began to speak.
"Good evening everyone." He begins. "Just want to give you a heads up that our final song for tonight will be a slow dance, so grab yourself a partner as long as you have their consent." He announced.
The band then started playing a slow song as everyone grabbed their partner and began to slow dance. I looked over at Otis to see him eyeballing Eric.
"Things still rocky between y'all two?" I asked.
"Yeah." Otis sighed.
"Now Otis, dude, you're a sex therapist in training right?" I hinted. "You're usually good with words so why don't you use those skills to apologize to Eric?" I advised.
"You're-you're right." Otis stuttered out as he walked over to Eric.
I watched as they talked and then I saw Eric smile. Otis and Eric then walked to the center of the dance floor and began to slow dance, with Eric claiming to Otis that he leads. Both of them laughed as everyone gathered around them to watched them dance.
Not gonna cap, this was the cutest shit I've ever seen.
However, the cute moment was interrupted by someone calling out,
"Lizzie!"
The music abruptly stopped as everyone turned their attention to a guy hanging from the crescent moon decoration. Everyone was both scared and confused.
"The fuck?" I exclaimed.
"It's me, Liam." The boy slurred out. "Up here on the moon!" He announced.
Is this guy on some drugs?
"Liam, get down now!" Headmaster Groff demanded.
"Not until I speak to Lizzie." Liam declined.
"I don't know him!" Lizzie states. "He's just a weird guy that follows me around!"
Aw shit, he a stalker.
"I love you, Lizzie." Liam proclaimed. "Do you love me?" He asked.
"No!" Lizzie shot down.
"Come down this instant!" Headmaster Groff ordered.
"No." Liam refused.
"Enough!" Headmaster Groff scolds. "Get down now!" He commands.
"What's the point? Lizzie doesn't love me." Liam lamented. "Nobody loves me."
Damn, I feel sorry for you, dude, but this isn't some sad romantic fantasy.
"I'm gonna jump!" Liam yelled as he lifted his feet off from the ledge.
Everyone gasped in horror.
"Stop, Liam, don't!" I heard Otis shout. "Don't do this."
"Oh...hi Otis." Liam greets still hanging on.
"You don't wanna jump." Otis begins.
"No! I think I do." Liam disagrees.
"You don't, look...sometimes, the people we like don't like us back, and it's painful, but there's nothing we can do about it." Otis conceded.
"You don't understand." Liam refutes.
"I do, I do understand." Otis assured him. "I know what it's like when someone doesn't feel the same way about you." He states. "It's..someone you can't stop thinking about...it hurts." He continued.
You know, he does make some solid ass points.
"But you can't make people like you." Otis points out.
"I don't like her...I love her." Liam proclaimed.
"I know, but love isn't about grand gestures, or the moon and the stars." Otis pointed out. "It's just dumb luck, and sometimes, you meet someone who feels the same way...and then sometimes, you're unlucky." He continued.
Jackson's POV
Jackson looked to see Maeve looking at Otis while he's talking. He noticed that she had a soft look on her face.
"But one day, you're going to meet someone who appreciates you for who you are." Otis continued. "I mean, there's 7 billion people on the plant." He chuckled. "I know one of them is gonna climb up on a moon for you." Otis assured.
Jackson wasn't even paying attention to Otis, he was just looking at Maeve. It's like he could sense that Maeve was falling for Otis.
" I knew it..." Jackson thought to himself.
Back to me
I would give Otis a round of applause if the moment wasn't so intense.
"Really?" Liam asked.
"Yeah, you're brilliant." Otis comments. "You're...very dedicated, you're gonna make someone really happy one day."
"But it will not be me." Lizzie pipes up.
"Not Lizzie, definitely not Lizzie, but someone." Otis clarifies. "And it won't happen if you fall off that moon and die." He points out.
"Okay." Liam agrees as he backs himself away from the moon.
Wow, Otis saved a life tonight!
Once Liam was on the castle decoration, he was climbing down when he slipped. Liam yelped as everyone screamed in horro as Liam crashed down onto the punch table.
Damn! Well, Otis almost saved a life.
After Liam was wheeled off to the hospital, the dance continued. However, some more drama shit began happen with Adam insulting Steve while Aimee was trying to defuse the situation.
"Adam, don't!" Aimee ordered.
"Your boyfriend looks like a fucking triangle." Adam insulted.
"Just ignore him Steve." Aimee pleads.
Adam continued to push and nudge Steve, which prompted Steve to push back.
"C'mon!"
"Stay way from me!"
Man, can't we go one night without some crazy shit happening?
Headmaster Groff came to the center and intervened.
"Stop it." Headmaster Groff demanded Adam.
Adam slapped his hand away.
"Get off." Adam growled.
Adam then grabbed Headmaster Groff by his jaws as he leaned in.
"I hate you!" Adam raged. He then let Headmaster Groff and looked around to see everyone looking at him and then walks off.
Headmaster Groff fixed himself up.
"Alright, go on, show's over." Headmaster Groff dismissed.
No POV
Headmaster Groff grabs Liam's jacket as something fell out. Puzzled, Headmaster Groff picked it up to see that it's a small bag with three orange pills.
He immediately identified them as drugs...and he thought of one person on who could be the responsible for Liam's behavior.
My POV
The dance was now over. I walked outside to find Maeve and Otis talking.
"Yo Otis." I called out. "You did a great job tonight."
Otis gave me a small smile.
"Thanks." He thanked.
"Where's your date?" Maeve asked.
That's right, I forgot he came here with Ola.
"She left." Otis replied.
"Why?" Me and Maeve both asked in sync.
"We...had an argument." Otis answered.
"What about?" Maeve asked.
"Doesn't matter." Otis replied.
"Okay, that was pretty crazy in there." Maeve comments. "You were amazing."
"Yeah, he was." I agreed as I gave Otis a fist bump.
"That was serious, Maeve." Otis clarified. "I mean, he could've killed himself."
"Yeah, but you talked him down." Maeve points out.
"Yeah and that was after he asked for my advice earlier." Otis states. "Imagine if he'd died."
"This feels wrong." Otis then claims.
"What?" Maeve asked.
"The whole clinic thing...and us, it has to stop." Otis demands.
"But we're really good together." Maeve defends.
"I can't keep doing this anymore, Maeve." Otis states. "It's getting in the way of my life."
"What do you mean?" Maeve asked.
"You know what I mean." Otis responded.
"Maeve?" We heard Jackson's voice.
We all looked to see Jackson walking up to us with his shirt covered in vomit. Lemme say, the smell is unpleasant.
"Just a minute Jackson." Maeve replied.
Jackson leaned against the wall.
"Hey Otis, if give you another 50 bucks , will you tell me how to get Maeve to like me again?" Jackson implied.
"Oh shit..." I muttered out.
"Jackson!" Otis exclaimed.
Maeve looked at Jackson confused.
"What are you talking about?" Maeve asked.
"Well, he told me how to get you." Jackson explained. "I gave him 50 and then he gave me the book stuff, and then the song and then the other feminist stuff that you like." He continued.
Wait, so Otis helped Jackson get with Maeve? I thought he liked her or something.
"Because you're difficult, Maeve, to know." Jackson ends.
Maeve then looked at Otis in disbelief.
"Maeve.." Otis began.
"He paid you to tell him what I like?" Maeve asked.
"No, I didn't...look, I wasn't trying to-" Otis stammered out.
I shook my head, which Otis noticed.
"I don't see why you're shaking your head, like you're not in the wrong either." Otis scolds.
Hold up now!
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"I know you like Jackson and I bet you're only being friends with Maeve just to get close to him." Otis accused.
"Now, wait a minute! Don't put this on me because your ass got caught!" I deflected. "Okay, yes, I was beginning to like Jackson, but I knew better not to fuck up their relationship because I care and respect Maeve, and you oughta be the last person coming at me about trying to fuck someone over when you abandoned Eric on his birthday because you decided to pick your hormones over your friendship!" I yelled.
Otis grew silent.
"I think I'm going to be sick again." Jackson announced.
Maeve grabbed Jackson by the arm.
"Maeve..I..."
"Stay the fuck away from me." Maeve spoke in a cracked voice as she escorted Jackson away. "You're right, we're done."
Otis then looked at me, but I shook my head and walked off as well.
That boy got a lot of nerve trying to take me down with him.
But...now what do I do? Otis pretty much outted me...so now what?
Maeve's POV
Maeve and Jackson made it to his house.
"I'm so sorry Maeve." Jackson apologized. "I'm sorry for getting sick on you and stuff."
Maeve knocked on the door, and the door swung open revealing a very pissed off Sophia. Jackson walked inside.
"He's a bit drunk." Maeve states. "My brother will bring the car-"
Maeve was interrupted by Sophia slamming the door on her face.
Maeve just turned back around, making her way back home.
Jackson's POV
"What were you thinking?" Sophia asked in a stern voice. "Do you think I like getting up at 4:30 every morning, like I have got nothing better to do with my time."
"Oh, me, me, me." Jackson groaned out.
"What did you say?" Sophia asked angrily.
"It's all about you, isn't it mum?" Jackson asked.
Roz tries to intervene.
"Let's go to bed, we can talk about this in the morning." She suggested.
Jackson was about to walk upstairs but Sophia stopped him.
"No, seriously." Sophia declines. "You think we like driving five hours every Saturday to get to your swim meets?" She continued. "Dedicating our entire lives to your success?"
"It's not my success though, is it mum?" Jackson countered.
"What?" Sophia asked.
"It's yours!" Jackson scolds as he storms off to the door, ignoring Sophia's orders for him to come back.
"Fucking shit." Jackson muttered out as he began to walk off to one place he could think of.
My POV
When I got home, my mom was coming down the stairs in her robe.
"Hey, how was the dance?" My mom asked.
I bluntly replied,
'Crazy, some kid tried to kill himself because a girl didn't like him back."
"Whoa...uh..." My mom responded a bit taken aback.
"I'm just going to go to bed." I sighed out as I made my way upstairs to my bedroom.
I began to think of what Otis said and sighed.
Am I becoming a bad friend?
Maeve's POV
Maeve heard a knock on her door. She answered it to see Jackson.
"What do you want?" She asked. "Someone pay you to read the fucking Bell Jar?" She insults.
"I actually liked that book." Jackson chuckled out.
"Not the point." Maeve states.
Jackson sighed.
"I had a fight with my mum, it was bad." Jackson explained.
"What do you want me to do?" Maeve asked. "Just go home and apologize." She advised.
"No, I can't! I can't go home!" Jackson exclaimed. "I hate it." He admits. "I always feel like I'm suffocating, like I'm living in someone else's body and life."
Jackson continued to rant and Maeve pulled him into a hug.
"Hey, it's okay." She tries to reassure him.
"I don't know what to fucking do." Jackson mumbled into Maeve's chest.
"It's okay." Maeve mumbled out as she rubbed his back.
"Please...can I stay here with you?" Jackson asked.
Maeve nodded as Jackson pulled her back into a hug.
Jackson sighed before he proclaimed,
"I love you, Maeve."

The Loner and The Star 6: Jackson Marchetti (Sex Education)
Me, Otis, and Maeve all met up at Aimee's house.
"Hey, I thought you'd still be at Jackson's." I pointed out.
"I just walked out, he'll be fine." Maeve replied as we walked up to the door.
I knocked on the door only for Anwar to open it.
"What...the...fuck?" Anwar spoke eyeing Otis in his costume up and down.
"We need to see Kyle." Otis stated.
"What do you want him for?" Anwar asked.
"None of your business." I replied.
"What are you supposed to be?" Anwar asked Otis.
"I'm going to a fancy-"
Anwar cuts him off by calling for Aimee.
"Aimee, Cock Biter's here!"
Aimee walked up to the door.
"What do you want?" Aimee asked. "I love you outfit." She compliments Otis.
I will admit, if Otis was a drag queen I would love to see him go against Eric in a drag race.
"How did it go with Jackson's parents?" Aimee asked Maeve."
"Not great." Maeve replied. "I kind of...fled."
"Where's Kyle?" I asked.
"Why?" Aimee asked. "Is this a sex thing? Has he got worms or something?"
I hope that's not the case and I hope Aimee didn't sleep with his ass either.
"No, we just need to talk to him." Maeve replied.
Aimee stood to the side, letting us in.
We found Kyle, high as a giraffe's ass, on the floor in the kitchen.
"Kyle, we need to talk." Otis spoke as he leaned forward.
"My skin feels like a carpet." Kyle comments.
"Kyle, did you send out that photo?" Maeve asked.
"Tread on me." Kyle answered as he rolled over. "I don't wanna be a carpet."
I grew irritated because this was getting ridiculous.
"We will fuck you up, do you hear me?" I threatened. "You'll wish you were a fucking carpet."
"Did you send the picture, yes or no?" Maeve asked.
"Maeve, he's out of it." Otis points out before he sighed. "This is stupid, she sent out the photo. Why doesn't she go to the police?" Otis questioned.
It's easier said than done.
"You really don't get it, do you?" Maeve asked. "You're such a man." She comments.
"Why are you so obsessed with this?" Otis asked. "Do you need money because I can lend you some."
Dude, I'm pretty sure this has nothing to do with money nor the sex clinic.
"Or is this just an excuse to run away from Jackson's thing?" Otis asked.
"Now hold up-" I jumped in before Maeve cut me off.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Maeve asked.
"I find it funny that you only want me around when you need something." Otis points out.
"That's not true." Maeve defends. "You're my friend."
"Am I?" Otis asked. "Because friends are supposed to listen to each other, and I keep telling you that I'm supposed to be with Eric but for some reason I'm here with you and the carpet." He points out.
Okay...now I feel like a fly on the wall for this. But dude, she didn't tie you up and forced you to come with her to Aimee's. You came here on your own free will and Maeve was cool with whatever decision you was going to make in this. You have no one to blame but yourself. I wanted to say that but I butted out since it's between Maeve and Otis. All I could do was look at Kyle roll on the floor while groaning about his "carpet like" skin.
"Go then." Maeve spoke. "Go on."
"Okay, yeah." Otis replied as he began to walk.
Before Otis was fully out the room, Maeve confessed,
"I didn't take any money from Ruby."
Otis stopped and turned around.
"And you're right, I was freaked out about Jackson's family dinner but that's not why I'm here." Maeve continued.
"Then why are you here and not with Jackson?" I asked.
Maeve sighed before she spoke.
"Do you two know how long I've been called Cock Biter?" She asked.
"No?" Me and Otis both answered in sync.
"Four years." Maeve stated. "People I've never met call me Cock Biter to my face."
"Wait, wait, what's the origin behind this name if you don't mind me asking?" I asked.
"I bit Simon Furthassle's scrote." Maeve replied.
Damn, now I know that hurt.
"I had sex with four guys at the same time, I fucked my second cousin, I'll give you a hand job for a fiver if you like." Maeve continued. "Do you know how it started?"
I shook my head no while Otis stood there.
"Simon tried to kiss me at Claire Tyler's 14th birthday." Maeve continued. "I said no."
I looked at Maeve's face and it's like she wanted to cry but was trying to hold it in as she continued her story.
"So, he told everyone I'd given him a blow job and bitten his dick, and that was it." Maeve finished.
"So he basically lied on you when he couldn't get what he wanted?" I asked. "What a fucking dick!"
"This kind of thing sticks." Maeve points out. "And it hurts, and no one deserves to be shamed, not even Ruby." She adds in.
"She's not bullshitting." I spoke out. "I've...been in a similar situation as Ruby before when I was 15 and it was with a boy who I thought was someone I could trust."
"I...didn't know that." Otis finally spoke.
"Whatever..." Maeve muttered. "Please just help me fix this."
Otis nodded.
"Don't worry Maeve, we got this." I assured her as we walked back over to Kyle, who was now unconscious.
"How do we get him to talk?" Otis asked as Maeve nudged Kyle with her foot.
"Orange juice." Kyle spoke as he opened his eyes. "I need orange juice."
We made our way to the store. Otis was on the phone with Eric telling him that he wasn't going to make it but he'll make it up to Eric one day. For some reason, I had a bad feeling about Eric.
"Why do people send out naked pictures of themselves, anyway?" Otis asked.
"I think it's a thrill thing." I replied.
"Yeah, like when you're doing something you're not supposed to do but that's what makes it better." Maeve adds in. "Not that I've done it since lone genitals aren't really my thing."
"I mean I can see why people do it sometimes, like it's kinda like not paying for a train ticket or finding a lost wallet with some money inside." I described. "You know it's wrong but it feels good."
"I don't think I could see myself taking money out of a lost wallet." Otis chuckles.
During the conversation I sensed a vibe from both Maeve and Otis. Honestly if Maeve wasn't with Jackson, I'm pretty sure her and Otis would've had something going on.
"Steal something." Maeve whispered to Otis.
"What, why?" Otis whispered back.
"Because I dare you to." Maeve giggled.
We both waited for Otis outside the store as he continued to try to be stealthy. I then noticed him talking to the cashier, which was a small young girl with short hair and a nose piercing. I don't which was funnier; Otis trying to keep his cool or him trying to form a sentence while trying to talk to the cashier.
Unfortunately, Otis' cover was blown when the candy bar he was trying to steal fell out of his sleeve.
"Bro he's fucked, he's fucked." I giggled out.
"Don't laugh because I know he can't save himself in this." Maeve giggled. "The cashier might let him off the hook if he plays his cards right."
Otis finally stepped out and let out a big exhale.
"Never have me do something like that again." Otis spoke.
Judging by the look on his face, his heart was still racing.
"She did let it slide and paid the candy bar for me." Otis explained as we began to walk.
"Now Maeve why you have him do that?" I laughed.
"To test his bravery." Maeve replied.
"Not funny." Otis mumbled out.
When we got back to Aimee's place, we watched as Kyle downed the whole carton of orange juice.
"I get sent images all the time." Kyle begins. "You know, tits...minges...the occasional butthole."
"Kyle, the vagina that was sent out this morning." Maeve specified. "Did you send it?"
"No, I keep all the pictures for my own personal collection." Kyle replied. "I'm more of a connoisseur of amateur erotica."
"Dude, that's nasty." I commented.
"Yeah, I know." Kyle agreed.
We dismissed Kyle once Ruby walked into the room.
"Well, was it him?" Ruby asked as she sat down.
"I don't think so." Maeve replied.
"Nope." I added in.
"Well, we're running out of time." Ruby complained. "You're shit at helping."
Better be glad we agreed to help you in the first place.
"She's just doing you a favor." Otis defends as Olivia walked into the room.
"What's going on?" Olivia asked.
"My life is over." Ruby replied.
"Why? Rubes what's wrong?" Olivia asked as she sat down next to her.
"That minge that everyone's been laughing at all day--it's mine, and I'm fucked." Ruby answered.
Maeve nudged Otis to go sit next to Ruby to say something.
"Ruby...um, okay, look, worst-case scenario--the photo goes out and everyone in school knows it's you, and you could be humiliated." Otis points out.
Okay...that worst-case scenario will actually become true tomorrow dude.
"You're not making me feel better." Ruby states.
"But only if you let yourself be." Otis finished. "Everyone has bodies, right? It's nothing to be ashamed of."
"Preach." I agreed.
"I...have a funky-looking toe." Otis admits trying to make Ruby feel better.
Otis was about to take off his shoe to show her but Maeve stopped him. Glad she did because I do not want that image in my head.
"Um, anyway, point is, whoever did this is intending to shame you, but it won't work if you don't let them." Otis points out.
"If they want to shame me, why haven't they revealed who I am already?" Ruby asked in a cracked voice. "This is torture."
"Oh my God." Maeve spoke. "It's a girl!" She exclaimed.
We all looked at her like, "Huh?"
"We thought it was a boy, it's a girl." Maeve specifies. "Emotional blackmail, demanding an apology, this is some girl shit."
I don't know whether to find that true or sexist honestly.
"What girls have beef with you?" I asked.
"All of them, I'm a bitch to everyone." Ruby answered.
Well, that's one thing everyone here could agree on.
"I need to go home now." Ruby announced. "Olivia can you call me a taxi?"
"Sure." Olivia replied as she took out Ruby's phone and typed in the passcode.
That's when it hit me...well, me, Maeve, and Otis as we all looked at each other. I put two and two together and mentally thought,
"Oh shit, the culprit was right in front of us this whole time!"
"Who else knows your passcode, Ruby?" Otis asked, making sure to confirm what we were all thinking of.
"No one, just Liv." Ruby replied.
However, that was when it hit Ruby as she looked at Olivia, who was looking down.
"You!?" Ruby asked.
Eric's POV
Eric had an unfortunate day. Otis was a no show and he lost his coat that contained his phone and wallet. It was now dark outside and Eric was walking home. All of a sudden a car was approaching behind him as a man asked,
"Where you goin'?"
"Excuse me miss?" The second guy called out. "Want a lift?"
"Um, no, thank you." Eric replied as he continued to walk.
The first man began to eye Eric up and down.
"Have you got a penis, Miss?" He asked.
That was when Eric knew he was in trouble.
"Go on, show us your dick." The first man encouraged.
"Just leave me alone, please." Eric spoke
The second man then pulled his car over in front of Eric as the first man came out the car.
"You gay fuck." He insulted.
"Please, please." Eric begged. "This isn't me, it's a costume." He explained.
The man continued to walk closer to Eric.
"I was going to see a film with a friend, I'm not-"
BAM!
Back to me
"I wasn't going to send it to anyone, I just wanted to know how it feels." Olvia explained.
"What chu mean?" I asked.
"She says mean shit to me every day." Olivia replied.
I mean, she's not wrong.
"What most of the stuff I say is true." Ruby states with no remorse.
"See? She's horrible." Olivia points out.
"I think what Olivia is saying is that she feels overly criticized by you, which is still not an excuse to blackmail someone." Otis points out.
"I only did it so she can feel what I feel just for one day." Olivia defended.
"And I don't say what I said just to make you feel bad, it was just to be helpful." Ruby argued.
"Maybe Olivia wants a friend that supports her." Otis suggested.
"But we say nasty stuff about everyone." Ruby admits. "Including you new girl."
"Yeah, no shit." I scoffed. "Be happy I didn't kick y'all asses already."
"Yes, but you have to accept the imperfect parts of people too." Otis states. "How do you guys trust each other, if not?"
Olivia then stuck up her pinky.
"I'm really sorry, Ruby." She apologized.
Is she really going do a pinky swear?
Ruby just grabbed her bag and got up.
"I hate you, I'm going home." She spoke as she walked off.
Well, shit.
Olivia then got up in anger as well.
"Fine, she's such a bitch." She ranted before walking off.
"Well...at least we've solved the case." I pointed out trying to make light of the awkward silence. "By the way, how did you know that it was a girl and not a dude?" I asked.
"I watch a lot of true crime." Maeve replied as me and Otis both chuckled.
After that I made my way home. I was about a few blocks away from my house when I noticed some woman slowly walking down the sidewalk.
I will admit, this woman got muscles. Not only that but she also had really short hair like how a guy would have...
Wait...that's not a woman...
THAT'S ERIC!
"Eric?" I called out.
Eric looked up a bit startled but then relaxed a bit when he saw me.
"Asia, oh it's you." Eric sighed out.
I walked up closer to him to see that he's wearing the same costume Otis was wearing earlier and I also noticed that his cheek and nose were bleeding.
"The fuck happened to you?" I asked as I examined his face.
Eric looked like he was on the verge of crying.
"I...got attacked." Eric replied as his voice began to crack.
Bro, what the fuck kind of homophobic asshole would jump someone...actually I take that back because you wouldn't be shocked at how many people would gay bash back in Chicago.
"Do you have your phone on you?" Eric asked. "I had my phone and wallet stolen earlier."
"Yes, look let's go, we right by my house." I replied as I led Eric up the block to my house. Once I opened the door, my mom looked at Eric and gasped.
"What happened?" My mom asked as she hurried towards us.
"He got jumped." I replied. "Where's the First Aid kit?" I asked.
"In the bathroom upstairs." My mom replied. "What's your name honey?" She asked.
"I'm Eric, miss." Eric replied. "I go to school with your daughter."
"C'mon man, we gotta dress that wound and then call your folks." I instructed as I led him upstairs.
While I was dabbing the blood away from his nose, I asked,
"What's with the costume?" I asked. "Otis had the same one on earlier."
"It's a tradition that me and him do on my birth-wait!" Eric exclaimed. "Otis was with you?"
Confused, I answered,
"Yeah? Me, him, and Maeve were at Aimee's trying to figure out who sent out that pussy pic." I explained.
Eric grew angry.
"He is so self centered!" Eric scolded. "He left me alone dressed like this because he wanted to hang around Maeve!"
"Wait, wait, wait!" I began. "He was supposed to be with you?"
"Yes! It's like he doesn't care about anyone but himself!" Eric yelled. "We've been friends since we were 9 years old and he has abandoned me for someone he has known for 5 seconds, the old Otis would never do that."
Eric then crouched down on the floor hugging his knees. I then heard quiet sobbing.
My mom came upstairs.
"What's going on? I heard yelling." My mom asked. She looked down at Eric.
"He...had a rough birthday mom." I spoke.
My mom didn't say a word as she rubbed Eric's back.
"Do you want to talk about it, baby?" My mom asked Eric.
Eric looked up at my mom as she escorted him to the couch downstairs. After Eric explained what happened, my mom was upset.
"Now what your friend did was unacceptable." She began. "No friend should leave you in the dust because of their hormones."
"That's what I was saying." Eric mumbled out as he sniffled.
"What's your parents' number?" My mom asked. "I can tell them where you're at."
After Eric told my mom the number, she went to the house phone.
"It's going to be okay." I assured him. "Everything's going to be okay."
Maeve's POV
Maeve returned back to Jackson's house. She knocked on his window to see a very disappointed Jackson.
"Did you come back for your shoes?" Jackson asked.
"I'm sorry okay?" Maeve apologized.
"I don't want to have a girlfriend that I don't know anything about." Jackson states.
Maeve sighed before she spoke,
"Let's go see where I live then."
Once they got there, Jackson looked around the caravan. He was a bit shocked to know that Maeve lived in a caravan.
"It's nice." He comments.
"The rumors about my family are true." Maeve confessed. "My mom's got addiction issues and my dad pissed off before I can remember."
"So, they weren't accountants then?" Jackson asked.
Maeve shook her head no.
"I'm not a shiny person, Jackson." She stated with a sigh.
"I've been on anti-anxiety medication since I was 11." Jackson admits. "Sometimes I get panic attacks so bad, I think I might die." He adds. "I puke most mornings before assembly and after every race and I couldn't sleep well because I can't stop my mind from whirling and my moms might be getting a divorce." He continued. "They fight all the time and it's like I'm the glue that's holding them together."
Maeve was silent.
"It was a lot and when I'm with you, it's the only time I don't feel like my mind is going, like, a hundred miles an hour." Jackson finished.
"I thought your family was perfect." Maeve finally speaks.
Jackson scoffed.
"Not so shiny, either, am I?" Jackson sighed.
Jackson's hands then intertwines with Maeve's as he pressed his forehead against hers. Jackson then looked at her and smirked.
"So, am I gonna get a house tour or what?" He asked.
Maeve chucked before she answered.
"Yeah."

The Loner and The Star 5: Jackson Marchetti (Sex Education)
September 13, 2020
Today's the day I meet up with my blind date after what happened last week. I don't know why I'm putting up with this but I'm doing it for Aimee since she believes that I still deserve a chance at love. If only I told her why I don't do relationships, but for now...I'll bite.
"He's really nice." Aimee assured me.
"So this Owen guy is a junior with a love for singing?" I asked.
"Yes, maybe you and him could go to a nice karaoke bar." Aimee answered.
"I still find this dumb however." I commented. "I mean...I don't even know about getting into another relationship."
"You...were in a relationship before?" Aimee asked.
I nodded my head.
"I...don't wanna talk about it, let's just...get this over with." I sighed out.
Aimee frowned.
"If you don't want to do this I can tell Owen, I'm sure he'll understand." Aimee assured me.
"I'm sorry, I just didn't want to disappoint you because I know you want your idea to work." I explained.
Aimee sat me down on her bed.
"Hey, it's okay." Aimee spoke. "I...probably should've been more considerate."
"Nah, you good like your heart was in the right place." I assured her. "It's just, sometimes moving on takes more than a few weeks to actually work and at the end of the day, if Jackson likes Maeve so be it."
Aimee hugged me.
"That's the spirit." Aimee encouraged. "Take as long as you want in order to move on."
I smiled as her hugged her back.
Okay...me and Maeve must protect this girl at all costs.
"But hey, I still do wanna check out the local hangout spots here since I haven't been anywhere but Moordale for almost a month." I stated.
"Hey mum! Can you drop me and Asia off at the karaoke bar!?" Aimee called out.
Otis' POV
"I didn't think that would've actually worked." Otis groaned out.
"You have the worst luck ever Oatcake." Eric commented. "But now what are you going to do?"
"I don't know, it's probably best I don't interfere at all." Otis spoke.
"Spoken like an honest man." Eric stated with a smile.
"L-let's not worry about Maeve and Jackson for now." Otis sighed. "Instead let's focus on your birthday at..." Otis began as he pulled out two tickets, much to Eric's delight.
"You remembered!" Eric squealed as he hugged Eric tight. "I thought you forgot our tradition."
"Never would, we've been doing this for years." Otis chuckled out.
"I'm so excited, I can't wait." Eric laughed with glee.
Otis chuckled as he continued to hug his dear best friend.
"Me either." He spoke.
No POV
It was another normal day at Moordale...or at least that's what everyone else thinks.
The sounds of phones pinging rang throughout the hallways along with laughter.
"That is one rank vagina!"
"Who's bush is that?"
Ruby looked at her phone in shock and then read the text that said,
"Either you apologize to me or I'm revealing who it is tomorrow at school."
"Whoa, if I had a vagina like that I would die." Olivia joked.
"Y-yeah...same here." Ruby stammered out as she excused herself away from her group.
Ruby hurried over to the abandoned bathrooms to find Maeve. Once she was there, she found Maeve and Asia playing cards.
"I need your help." Ruby claimed to Maeve.
"Why should I help you?" Maeve asked. "You've been a bitch."
"Please, I really need your help." Ruby begged. "It's about the photo that's being sent around, it's my vagina."
"Hell nah, you probably deserved-"
Maeve silenced Asia.
"We'll help." Maeve spoke.
"We? You speak French girl?" Asia asked.
"We also might need Otis for this as well." Maeve added in.
My POV
I can't believe we have to help this chick...but at the same time, I can't help but feel bad. I don't know why but when she said that it was a photo of her vagina being sent around, that made my heart race.
"Ho!"
"Slut"
"Easy Ass Girl!"
I shook my head as me and Maeve continued to search for Otis. We found him by his locker.
"Otis..." I began.
"Yeah?" Otis announced.
"Meet us in the science room." Maeve ordered as we all made our way to the science room.
After we explained to Otis what was going on, we walked into the science classroom to see that Ruby was already in there. I guess Maeve might've told her to meet us in here.
"Who did you send the photo to?" Otis asked.
Ruby was silent but she spoke.
"Only to one guy." Ruby replied. "That guy was some geek from the DnD club, who I only dated for a week."
Of course it would be some nerdy mofo that desperate for validation and popularity.
"I was stupid enough to have my face in it but I guess he zoomed in on my vagina and screen shot it." Ruby added in.
"We need to find out how he got his hands on that photo." Otis stated as we walked out the science room.
Ohhhh, I can't wait to fuck someone up!
"So, how are we doing this?" I asked. "Good cop, bad cop style? Because I make a kick ass bad cop."
"That won't be necessary." Otis assured me. "We're just going to talk to him."
I grumbled.
Man I was hoping me and Maeve would get to tag team on some fuckers.
When we walked into the DnD club, they were in the middle of their adventure.
"Who dares enter our mortal domain?" The leader asked. "We're in the middle of a dangerous adventure so please return some other time."
"Which one of you was dating Ruby Matthews?" Otis asked.
The DnD leader chuckled.
"That information is not for mere mortals like you." The leader replied condescendingly. "It's for us to share since we have nothing to hide from one another."
Maeve didn't say nothing but instead grabbed a game piece of the game board then threw it on the ground and stomped on it, much to everyone's dismay.
"Start talking." Maeve demanded.
"Y-yeah...or else there's going to be more where that came from." Otis stammered out.
"Okay it was me." The leader, Tom, confessed.
I grabbed Tom by his shirt and led him outside by the lockers.
"Alright, were you the one who sent the photo around?" Maeve asked. "Answer honestly and me and Asia here might let you walk out of here without a few bruises."
"I swear I didn't send that photo." Tom answered. "I would never hurt her."
"Prove it, give us your phone." Maeve ordered.
"I don't have one." Tom admitted. "Did you know that emit radiation and that radiation can cause a cancer of the balls? I don't want mutant sperm." He adds in.
Me and Maeve patted Tom down only to see that he's clean.
"If it wasn't you, then who was it?" Maeve asked.
"Ruby and I dated for a week, it was like a dream." Tom answered. "But then she dumped me for Glen Jacobs." He continued. "And then she dumped him because he wore the wrong socks to school." He also adds in.
Dude, what's with this chick and her standards?
"What are you implying?" Otis asked.
"Remember that topless photo of Tia Hobbs that went around?" Tom asked.
"Yeah." Maeve answered.
"Well, Tia used to go out with Glen and he called in sick today." Tom continued. "Coincidence? I think not."
Soon as he said that the bell rang.
After we let that guy off the hook me and Maeve found Aimee in the hallways.
"You know Glen Jacobs right?" Maeve asked. "Where does he live?"
"Uh, in his parents' garage." Aimee replied. "There's loads of beanbags in there."
"Okay, where is it?" I asked.
"Oh, I don't know." Aimee replied. "I just sort of arrive places."
Maeve's phone pinged a text from Jackson.
Dinner's at 7
Hmm, they got a dinner date going on. That's cute, that's cute.
"What would you wear to meet your boyfriend's parents for the first time?" Maeve asked Aimee.
She's already meeting the parents too? They've only been dating for a few weeks.
"Whatever you do, do not dress like you." Aimee advised. "My brother brought a girl home once and she wore a Nine Inch Nails T-shirt, and my mom thought she worshipped Satan." She explained.
Damn, her parents must be crazy religious.
"She also did a massive shit in the toilet and my dad had to break it up with a stick." Aimee continued.
Okay, it would've been a cold day in Hell before I let myself take a shit in someone's house, let alone my boyfriend's parent's house.
"So, don't do that either, 'cause first impressions count." Aimee spoke before she walked off. "Good luck!" She called out.
"Already meeting the parents huh?" I chuckled out.
"It was his idea." Maeve replied. "I guess he...wanted to already take it to the next level or something."
I looked at Maeve to see a bit of a frowned look on her face.
"You good? Like you nervous?" I asked.
"It's not that I'm nervous but...we've only been dating for a few weeks and he treats it as if we've been dating for months." Maeve explained. "It honestly feels like it's too much and it's something I'm not used to."
"Well, how long y'all been friends with benefits before y'all started dating?" I asked.
"Since...Freshman year I believe." Maeve replied. "I guess I'm just used to the sex without the relationship with Jackson that the relationship thing just feels...I don't know." She continued.
"Like you're limited to certain things?" I asked.
"Something like that." Maeve answered. "But, I can try to handle it because I actually do like Jackson."
I'll admit to one thing, I do envy Maeve for having Jackson already wanting to meet his parents. I didn't even get to do that with my last gu...lemme not bring him up anymore.
Otis' POV
Otis walked downstairs in his costume. He walked into his mom office to tell her that she's leaving.
"I'm off." Otis announced.
His mother, Jean, looked at him and lowered her glasses.
"Oh, you look fabulous." Jean commented.
"Thanks." Otis thanked as he walked away.
"Have fun!" Jean called out.
Otis grabbed his coat and bag and walked out the door.
Maeve's POV
Maeve sighed as she rang the doorbell.
Jackson opened the door and eyed her up and down with a small smile.
"You look different." He comments.
"I was trying to make an effort." Maeve explained.
"No, you look great." Jackson complimented as he led her inside.
Maeve walked into the main room to see two women, whom she assumed was Jackson's mothers.
"This is Maeve." Jackson introduced.
"Hello." One woman with a bob greeted.
"Hi." Maeve greeted back.
"Welcome." The woman with the short afro greets. "We've made sushi, oh, and I've just realized that it's got shellfish in it."
"You're not allergic, are you?" The one with the bob asked.
"Yeah, I'll die." Maeve replied before she spoke again. "Just kidding."
Everyone exchanged giggles.
"Oh, that's funny." The woman with the bob commented. "We are so happy to meet you."
"Me too." Maeve replied as she hands them a small yellow bag.
"I brought some wine." She announced.
"Jackson doesn't drink." The woman with the bob commented.
"Mom." Jackson spoke, a bit embarrassed.
"Oh, how thoughtful of you." The woman with the short afro commented as she accepted the wine. "We'll have some wine yeah?" She asked her wife as the woman with the bob nodded.
"Oh...I feel like this going to be a long dinner date." Maeve thought to herself.
Eric's POV
Eric was waiting at the bus stop for Otis. He had no idea how long he was standing there but he knew the bus was going to be pulling up momentarily.
Eric pulled out his phone to text Otis.
Where are you?
All of a sudden, two men walked up to the bus stop and looked at Eric. One of them called out,
"Oi, is it your birthday?" He asked.
"Yeah, yeah it is." Eric replied with hesitant.
"It's my birthday too." The guy announced as he got up and hugged Eric. "You look brilliant." He comments as he gives Eric a bottle that contained some alcohol.
Eric took a sip and realized how strong it was.
"Happy birthday mate." The guy spoke.
Maeve's POV
During the dinner date, Roz, one of Jackson's moms, asked Maeve about her parents.
"So Maeve, are your parents embarrassing like us?" Roz asked.
"Yeah...yeah they're uh, very normal." Maeve replied.
"What do they do?" Sofia, the other mother, asked.
Maeve paused for a minute before she spoke.
"Um, they're accountants." She lied.
"Great, we've been saying that we need new accountants." Sofia spoke. "Where are they based?"
"They...work from home actually." Maeve lied.
"Do they have a website?" Roz asked.
"Uh, no." Maeve answered. "Uh, they like to work with international clients...you know, Japan and stuff." She lied before she chuckled.
Jackson cleared his throat.
"Where's your toilet?" Maeve asked Jackson.
Once Jackson told her where it was, Maeve excused herself. Maeve went into Jackson's room, where he said the bathroom was located, and looked at all of the certificates and achievements that were hanging on his wall. She then looked at a photo of Jackson as a baby with his two mothers.
"I guess he really is their miracle." Maeve thought to herself.
My POV
I was in my room trying to write ideas for my short story when my phone vibrated.
It was Maeve calling.
Surprised, I answered.
"Yo Maeve, how's the dinner date with Jackson?" I asked.
"Just great, we still got a case going on." Maeve announced.
"What?" I asked.
"Tom lied." Maeve replied. "Otis saw him throw a phone into the river and he said that he sent the photo to one guy because that guy didn't believe Tom when he said that he had shagged Ruby." She replied.
"Who was the guy he sent it to?" I asked.
"Kyle." Maeve replied.
Wait, why does that name sound familiar?
That's when it hit me.
"Maeve, where's Aimee?" I asked.
"She and her friends are having a study group at her house." Maeve replied.
"I think I have a good feeling on where Kyle is." I announced.

The Loner and The Star 4: Jackson Marchetti (Sex Education)
My POV
It was after school one day. It was also the first day of Creative Writing Club. I didn't know where to start with the club but they did give us a journal where we can write our creations.
My mind was just blank.
It's only day one and I already have writer's block.
I then looked over at one girl, Lily, who was already 3 pages in. Damn, she must have crazy speed.
Lily noticed me looking at her work.
"Do you wanna see?" Lily asked.
"Uh, sure." I answered.
Lily handed me her journal. I skimmed through it to see that it was an erotica on intergalactic romance. I mean Eric did say that she does write aliens fucking. I looked at the corner of the pages to see a drawing of an alien with dicks for hands.
"This is actually fire." I answered honestly.
"Thanks, it's a story I've been writing since I was a kid." Lily explained.
"Well, you must have a crazy imagination as a kid." I commented.
"Yeah, I did but not a lot of people get my story." Lily replied. "In fact, many find it disturbing."
"I mean, as long as you like it...who cares what others think?" I pointed out.
Lily gave me a small smile.
"What are you writing about?" Lily asked.
"Honestly, I have nothing." I admitted. "Like, I don't know where to begin."
"I thought you'd be writing some paranormal stuff." Lily commented.
"Oh because of my gothic attire?" I asked. "I just wear this because I like the color black."
"Might I suggest...your favorite character from a TV show?" Lily suggested.
"I guess I can start there." I answered as I began to write.
"I'm Lily by the way." Lily introduced.
"Asia." I replied. "And thanks for the suggestion."
After the club was over with, I walked pass The Untouchables.
"Well, look who came out from Club Freaky." Anwar spoke.
"She's in the Creative Writing club? Well I guess that's right up her alley since she probably writes filthy smut." Olivia adds in.
"She's probably friends with that alien girl as well." Ruby mumbles. "I guess freak found her people."
I whirled around and slammed my fist against the locker that was next to them, making them jump.
"It's funny how y'all are talking shit about people you don't even know." I stated. "I would advise you all to shut the fuck up unless you're looking for a fight." I warned.
They all rolled their eyes as they walked off.
"Fucking fake ass plastic bitches." I muttered out as I turned around to see Maeve smiling.
"Never think that someone would stand up to them." Maeve stated. "They're known for eating people alive if they step out of line."
"If they feeling froggy, they can leap for all I give a fuck." I scoffed as we began to walk.
"So, how are you liking Moordale so far?" Maeve asked.
"I mean...it's way better than my other school." I replied. "I'm still getting used to everyone's accents."
"So do you fancy anyone?" Maeve asked.
Soon as she asked that my heart sorta jumped at the thought of Jackson but I kept my cool.
"Nah, like I've been telling myself, I'm not here to dick hunt." I answered.
"Good, majority of these guys here are assholes." Maeve commented. "Well...not all."
I smirked.
"Sounds like you like someone." I giggled.
And I had a bad feeling on who it is.
"Don't tell anyone but lately Jackson has gotten my interest lately." Maeve whispered to me.
"Y'all dating?" I asked.
"No, I mean we're just having casual sex." Maeve replied. "I'm not so big on relationships."
"Me either, my first one was when I was 15 and I guess that's supposed to be my last one though." I explained. "After that I was like "Fuck dude"."
Maeve looked at me.
"You know, you're not like the others here." Maeve commented. "Besides one girl here and Otis, of course, you have been keeping me interested."
"Thanks, I guess." I chuckled out.
"How come you never came to the sex clinic?" Maeve asked.
"I mean, I simply don't have any sex related problems." I answered. "At the end of the day, hos is just like money: it comes and goes."
Maeve laughed.
"That's actually a good quote." Maeve commented.
"Am I wrong though?" I asked.
Maeve shook her head as she giggled.
"Got any siblings?" Maeve asked.
"Nah, only child." I answered. "My mom decided after I was born that one was enough."
"I got one little sister and one older dickhead brother." Maeve stated. "My brother is in Texas last time I checked and my little sister is with my mum."
"Any pets?" I asked.
"No, you?" Maeve asked.
"Nah, I wish." I replied. "I always want a little black cat."
When then heard footsteps behind us and turned around to see Aimee.
"Oh, it's you." I spoke. "How did it go with your parents?"
"My parents are still pissed about that party." Aimee explained as she rubbed the back of her neck.
I sighed.
"How about your so called friends?" I asked.
"I mean, they're still being the usual." Aimee let out a nervous chuckle.
I shook my head before I spoke.
"Yo, y'all wanna come by my place?" I asked. "My mom would've love to meet a few folks I became cool with."
"R-really? Okay." Aimee replied excited.
"Can't I gotta go home and pay rent." Maeve spoke as she walked off.
"Well, I guess it's just me and you then." I chuckled as we began to walk.
When we got to my place, I opened the door.
"Hey mom, I got company!" I called out.
My mom peeked her head out from the kitchen.
"And who is this pretty young lady here?" My mom asked as she walked up to Aimee.
"I'm...Aimee." Aimee spoke in a nervous tone.
"Oh sugar, I don't bite." My mom assured her. "I'm Janet Kinsworth."
"Your daughter is really nice." Aimee commented.
My mom looked at me.
"I told you that kind side of you will bring friends." My mom chuckled out.
"Mom..." I mumbled with a facepalm.
"Would you like some porkchops and rice Aimee?" My mom asked. "I'm about to cook soon."
"Oh, I can't eat pork, um, me and my friends decided to become vegan." Aimee explained.
My mom looked at me over Aimee's shoulder and I just shrugged.
"I...guess you can just eat the rice." My mom spoke as she walked back into the kitchen.
When we went upstairs to my bedroom, Aimee looked around my room.
"You have some really cool yet spooky stuff." She commented.
"Thanks, got it from Hot Topic and Spencer's back at home." I explained. "So, what do you want to talk about?"
"Well...do you want to do each other's nails?" Aimee asked.
"I mean, I got nail polish but majority of them are in solid colors." I answered as I pulled out a box full of nail polish.
"Ohhh is that a navy blue?" Aimee coo'ed.
"Yeah, is that your favorite color?" I asked.
"Well, my other friends never let me wear dark colors since it's bland and ugly." Aimee explained.
"Okay, pause." I began as I grabbed her hand to apply the base coat. "Who are they to tell what you can and can't wear?"
"Well, friends follow each other's rules...at least that's what Ruby told me." Aimee explained.
"More like bosses to their assistants." I scoffed. "You're being treated like a side kick."
"Well, how are friends supposed to treat each other?" Aimee asked.
"Well, I can't say much since I've been friends with some snakes but I can say this; friends are supposed to be like a second family where they may get on each other's nerves but love each other at the end of the day." I explained.
"So you mean that you and Maeve could be like my sisters?" Aimee asked.
"If that's how you wanna label us, yeah." I answered.
Aimee smiled.
"Then it's settled, you're my sister." Aimee giggled.
I don't know why, but that made me smile.
"Okay, I'm done." I announced as Aimee looked at her nails.
"Wow, you did an amazing job!" Aimee exclaimed. "Can I do your nails too?"
"I mean, I always wear black nail polish." I replied. "But knock yourself out."
"No worries, I'll make yours look really pretty." Aimee assured me as she grabbed my hand. "So, any guy captured your eye?"
"W-well...not really." I lied.
"What? You do! C'mon tell me!" Aimee squealed.
I sighed.
"Not that I like this guy but...I do find him interesting." I spoke.
"Who is it?" Aimee asked.
"Promise you won't freak out." I begged.
"I doubt that who you like won't have me worried." Aimee assured me.
"Fine, it's Jackson." I answered.
Aimee's smile quickly faded away.
"Except that, do you know who Jackson likes!?" Aimee exclaimed.
"Yeah and that's the killer part because Maeve is a cool girl." I stated.
"You can't go after Jackson, it's against the girl code." Aimee lectured.
"I mean, it's not like they're dating or anything." I spoke. "Maeve told me that she's not big on relationships and they just friends with benefits."
"Yeah but I heard through the grapevine that Jackson is going to sing to Maeve tomorrow at lunch to ask her to be his girlfriend." Aimee explained. "He asked Otis for help."
Of course since Otis is the only person who knows how to help people get laid or have an orgasm.
"Fuck..." I muttered out.
"Listen to me, as your sister, you have to forget about Jackson and date someone else." Aimee advised. "Your budding friendship with Maeve is on the line."
"I guess...I don't get the whole girl code thing but at the same time I sorta do." I spoke. "I wanna say it varies on how the relationship ended."
"I can set you up with someone else." Aimee offered. "I don't want my sisters to be fighting."
"Man, why you care?" I asked.
"Because...you're one of the fewer people who were nice to me." Aimee replied. "Besides Maeve, I'm just seen as a dumb blonde with nice tits."
"Now, I don't see you as a dumb blonde." I stated. "You're smart in your own way, don't let anybody tell you otherwise."
Aimee smiled as she set the nail polish bottle down.
"All finished." She announced.
I look down at my nails to see them black with white flowers on them.
"Oh wow, thanks." I thanked a bit surprised.
"You're welcome sister." Aimee chuckled out.
"Girls! Time to eat!" My mom called from downstairs.
When we went into the dining room, I noticed Aimee looking at my porkchops and giggled.
"You sure you don't want a porkchop?" I asked. "You've been eyeballing it the whole time."
"I...I..." Aimee began.
Before she could answer, I placed a porkchop on her plate. Aimee picked up the porkchop with her fork and took a small bite out of the porkchop.
"Holy shit..." Aimee spoke. "This is the best thing I've ever tasted!" She exclaimed.
My mom chuckled.
"There's some more if you want some baby." My mom offered.
I smiled as Aimee continued to eat the porkchop.
I guess Aimee's not so bad after all.
It was another day in class. I was sitting next to Eric, who saw my nails.
"Ohhh, you got your nails did." Eric whispered.
"Yeah, Aimee was at my house the other day and we did each other's nails." I explained.
"What? You're finally making friends? It's only been 2 weeks." Eric giggled.
"I mean Aimee ain't so bad...same with Maeve." I chuckled out.
"I'm already proud of you." Eric squealed as he hugged me tight.
The bell rang as everyone walked out.
After what Aimee told me yesterday, I was kinda nervous. Part of me doubt that Maeve will accept Jackson's offer but at the same time everyone changes their mind when certain people come into their lives.
My thoughts were interrupted by feedback screech coming from the intercom. I then heard Jackson's voice over the intercom.
"Excuse me, will all the students from Class D please come to the cafeteria?" He asked.
I grew confused but everyone began to crowd the hallways making their way to the cafeteria. I was shit outta luck because I was stuck in the crowd and the crowd was moving so slow that it's like everyone was stuck.
When I was close to the cafeteria, I suddenly heard singing and it sounded like...
Jackson?
Since when Jackson could sing?
I began to push pass people until I reached the cafeteria to see Jackson coming down from the table singing while walking towards Maeve. I couldn't hear him but I could read lips.
"So, will you be my girlfriend?" Jackson asked.
Maeve laughed.
"You dickhead." Maeve giggled before she kissed Jackson.
Damn...I'm wondering if Aimee's offer is still on the table.

The Loner and The Star 3: Jackson Marchetti (Sex Education)
September 1st, 2020
Well, it's already been past a week since I've been at Moordale. I will admit, I am adjusting to this place but school in general is like an onion: peel one stinky layer back and there's an even stinker layer underneath. So far, no one has bothered me besides the ones I could actually tolerate on the daily basis.
"That actually happened!?" Eric exclaimed.
I was telling him about what happened at the party.
"It was an accident, but I don't know why that made me feel something." I explained.
Eric couldn't help but laugh.
"Bro, it's not funny." I stated.
"I'm sorry but it sounds like you do fancy Water Boy and is miffed that he's shagging Maeve." Eric points out.
"I do not like Jackson like that." I claimed.
"Well, if you don't like him, then why did it bother you that he was shagging Maeve?" Eric asked.
I...have no answer for that.
"Aha! I knew it! You cannot get pass me when it comes to stuff like that." Eric gloated.
I facepalmed myself as Eric continued to laugh.
"Shouldn't you be with your pasty skinned buddy?" I asked.
"Oatcake is already with Maeve doing their sex clinic thing." Eric explained before he leaned in closer. "If you want to know something, Otis has a small crush on Maeve."
I mean, I can sorta see why guys like girls like Maeve...girl's a total badass in my opinion.
"I guess..." I replied as I got up.
"Hey, since you're still new here and adjusting to this place, have you ever considered joining an after school club?" Eric asked.
"Nah, what's the point when I'm pretty sure they don't have anything that I'm remotely interested in?" I asked.
"Negative much?" Eric asked. "Well, they do have a pet club."
I shuddered because they got a green snake and a black tarantula...two of the animals I fucking hate.
"Well, I'm in swing band and Mr. Hendricks would probably be happy to have another new member." Eric recommended. "It'll also take the attention away from me being Tromboner." He mumbled.
"I sucked ass at playing the sax when I was in 8th grade so no thanks." I chuckled.
"Well, name one hobby that you do." Eric suggested.
"Well, I do enjoy writing...like, the only time I write is in my diary." I stated.
"A diary, what are you 13?" Eric judged.
"Hey, a diary is beneficial for mental health." I pointed out feeling a bit offended.
Eric's eyes then grew wide.
"Wait...I think there's a club for that!" Eric exclaimed.
Soon as he grabbed me by the hand and escorted me out the study hall, Eric led me to a room that has a sign on the door.
"Creative Writing?" I read.
"Yes, one of the members of swing band is also apart of this club...though she's into some erotic alien stuff." Eric explained.
I nodded my head in approval.
"Alright, I'll fuck with this club." I spoke as Eric clapped his hands with glee.
"I am on a roll today!" Eric exclaimed, which grabbed everyone's attention.
So, all eyes were now on us.
"What are you all looking at? Mind your business!" Eric scolds as everyone looked away.
I chuckled.
Eric is funny as hell.
After school hits. I was walking with Eric to the bike rack where Otis was.
"Yo Otis, how was the sex clinic business?" I asked.
"Oh um, it's going great." Otis replied as he got his bike helmet.
"Guess what, Asia's doing creative writing!" Eric announced.
"Well, I pretty much joined the Creative Writing club." I spoke as I rubbed the back of my neck.
"Oh...that's...nice." Otis spoke, sounding a bit uninterested.
"Well, I'm going to go." I announced as I walked off.
"Bye, see you tomorrow!" Eric spoke with a wave.
Otis's POV
Soon as Asia left, Otis heard someone call his name.
"O-Town!"
Otis and Eric both looked to see Jackson running towards them.
"Oh, hey Jackson." Otis greeted.
"Hey, you're friends with Maeve, yeah?" Jackson asked.
"Um, I believe so." Otis replied.
"Okay, so hear me out: me and Maeve have been having casual sex, like full on amazing casual sex." Jackson began.
Otis was caught a bit off guard by that.
"Oh, um, that's great." Otis commented.
"But I honestly, I was wondering if...you would tell me what Maeve likes because I do fancy her." Jackson requested.
Eric looked at Otis with wide eyes.
"U-uh, s-sure." Otis agreed.
Eric looked at Otis gobsmacked.
"She does like this book...and this band." Otis began as he handed Jackson a book and pointed at his phone to show the band he was referring to.
Jackson smiled as he accepted the book.
"Thanks mate." Jackson thanked. "You know I've been hearing about your sex clinic thing and I gotta say...you're like my mom...in a little man's body." He commented.
"Um, thanks." Otis thanked as he took his bike off the rack.
"See you later." Jackson spoke as he walked off.
During the bike ride, Eric spoke to Otis.
"What have you've done?" Eric asked.
"What do you mean?" Otis asked.
"You're helping Jackson get with Maeve!" Eric points out. "The girl that you like!"
"I mean, yeah I like Maeve but if she likes Jackson, she likes Jackson." Otis nonchalantly states.
"Yeah and Asia likes Jackson!" Eric yells before he covered his mouth.
Otis stopped his bike.
"Wait, the new girl?" Otis asked.
"Did I say that out loud?" Eric asked.
"Asia likes Jackson?" Otis asked.
"She...didn't out right admit it but she has shown signs." Eric explained.
"So you mean to tell me that I could've helped her with Jackson?" Otis asked.
Eric smirked.
"I thought it didn't matter that Maeve ends up with Jackson." He stated.
"It doesn't!" Otis exclaimed. "But...I believe Jackson and Asia would've been a better couple."
"Well, you already helped Jackson with a few things so it's sorta too late." Eric points out.
Otis groaned.
"Fucking idiot." Otis thought to himself as he continued to bike.
"Aw Oatcake, are you getting jealous?" Eric asked.
"I'm not jealous...I just...want what's best for Maeve." Otis mumbled.
"And by that you want Maeve all to yourself." Eric specified.
"You making it sound like I'm a creep." Otis pointed out.
Eric laughed as he continued to bike.
Back to me
I sighed as I laid down on my bed. I didn't want to believe Eric on when he said that I like Jackson because I refuse to fall in love again...
Especially after what happened Sophomore year...
"Are you sure we have to do this?" I asked as I sat on the bed in nothing but my bra and underwear.
"You love me right?" My then boyfriend asked as he continued to unbuckle his pants.
"Y-yeah." I stammered out.
My then boyfriend took out his phone and went into the camera app.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"I can't record us?" He asked.
"I...made it clear before that I'm not comfortable with that." I pointed out. "You know that."
"What? It's not like I'm going to show this to anyone." My then boyfriend assured me as he placed the phone on the stand. "C'mon, I know you love me, do you trust me?"
"Y-yeah..." I quivered as he walked up to me and slowly got on top of me.
Fastforward to the very next day, I could feel the thousand pair of eyes burn my whole entire body. When I got to my locker...my heart dropped. My locker was vandalized with words like, "Ho" or "Easy" and there was a phone taped to my locker playing the sex tape.
I felt frozen as the video continued to play. Everyone's laughter was muffled out and all I could hear was my heartbeat racing from a lot of emotions...
Anger...
Confusion...
Sadness...
I looked at my then boyfriend who was walking up to me.
"Hey, sorry, my friends saw the video and sent to his phone." He spoke with no remorse. I didn't respond at all as I began to walk away.
"Why are you crying? It's your fault for agreeing in the first place!" My then boyfriend called out.
That final sentence echoed into my head as I hugged my pillow tight, not even putting up a fight with the tears that were sliding down my face.
Why can't I stop these feelings?
Jackson's POV
It was the next day of school. Jackson was in the study hall reading the book Otis recommended to him.
"What do you know about this?" He heard a female voice asked.
Jackson looked up to see Maeve hovering above him.
"I think it's a nice book." Jackson commented. "Do you like this book?"
"I've read the series." Maeve explained as she sat down next to him.
"Yo Marchetti!" One jock called out. "Are you reading a woman's book? That book is stupid."
"It's not stupid, it's empowering." Jackson defended, making Maeve smile. "It's a really powerful book."
"He does have a good point." Maeve agreed.
Jackson smiled at Maeve's agreement.
"Anyway, I'm about to get back to this book while listening to my music." Jackson announced as he took out his phone to select his song.
Maeve cocked her eyebrow a bit surprised.
"You listen to Slotface too?" Maeve asked. "Since when you started listening to alternative music?"
"I've always been listening to it, do you like this band as well?" Jackson states.
"Yeah, they're my favorite." Maeve answered.
"Well, surprised you mentioned that because..." Jackson began as he dug into his pockets and pulled out two concert tickets. "...I got these two tickets to this concert and I have no one to go with."
"I'll go, I've always wanted to go to their concert for years." Maeve volunteered.
"Cool, I'll text you when to pick you up yeah?" Jackson asked.
Maeve nodded as she got up and walked off.
Jackson punched the air with his fists as he walked out with the biggest smile on his face.
Once Jackson was out of the hallways, he sighed.
"Man, I'm such a happy man."

The Loner and The Star 2: Jackson Marchetti (Sex Education)
"Are you alright?" The fine guy asked me once again.
"Y-yeah, I was just trying to get my wallet from the pool." I finally spoke.
"It's still in there, yeah?" He asked as he stood up and walked to the pool.
Before I could say anything, he did a head dive into the pool.
Damn, dude must already be a swimmer or something.
I watched as the dude surfaced back up with my wallet in hand.
"Here you go, just be careful with your things next time." He lectured as he got out the pool.
I couldn't help but stare at the water running down his naked chest. I looked away because I didn't want to look like I was thirsty for him.
"T-thanks man." I stammered as I got up.
The dude cocked an eyebrow at me.
"Your accent sounds a bit off." He commented with a chuckle.
"I'm not from here." I stated.
"Are you new here? I was hearing rumors that you were-"
"Related to some girl who goes by the nickname Cock Biter?" I spoke finishing his sentence.
"Well...yeah." The dude replied.
"I'm not and I know her name is Maeve." I stated.
"Yeah, Maeve's a really cool girl once you get to know her." He spoke as he rubbed the back of his head.
Wait...I know that body language. Does he like her?
Eh, not my business.
"So, um..." The dude began as he cleared his throat. "I'm Jackson."
"Asia." I replied.
"Like the continent?" Jackson asked.
"Pretty much, Asia's a common name where I'm from." I pointed out.
"Which is...?" Jackson asked.
"Chicago, hmm am I being interviewed?" I joked.
"No, just curious." Jackson replied. "If you wanted to be interviewed then The Untouchables would've done that by now."
"Wait, you mean that popular posse? Well, my locker is right next to one of them." I explained. "I already gave a bad first impression with my own existence."
Jackson smiled.
"But at the same time, not everyone's gonna fuck with you." I stated.
"That's...actually true." Jackson agreed. "Well, that's sorta not the case with me since...I'm well liked here, n-not to sound like a dick or anything."
"Lemme guess, star athlete?" I asked.
Jackson looked at me surprised.
"Y-yeah, are you psychic or something?" Jackson asked.
"Yes, I can also tell that you have a big ego to mask the small dick you have in your pants." I joked.
Jackson frowned a bit.
"I'm just fucking with you...unless it's true." I chuckled out.
"I'll have you know my dick is massive." Jackson states before realizing what he said. "I-I-I mean it's not your business."
I laughed.
Man I love fucking with people like that.
"But anyway, I gotta get home." I spoke. "Nice seeing you Jackson."
I began to walk up the steps and out the pool room.
I'll admit, Jackson was cute as fuck...but I told myself I'm not here to dick hunt.
Soon as I walked out. I heard loud moaning coming from one of the empty classrooms.
Curiosity got the better of me as I peeked my head in to see Adam clapping one of The Untouchables chicks. She had long blonde wavy hair, blue eyes, and buck teeth.
I walked off thinking,
"I mean shit I don't know whether to call her crazy for dating a dickhead or lucky for dating a dickhead with a huge dick."
When I got home, my mom was sitting on the couch in the living room.
"Hey mama bear, how was your first day of school?" She asked.
"Surprisingly, decent." I replied as I went upstairs to my room but my mom stopped me.
"C'mon, tell me about it. Did you make any friends?" My mom asked.
"No mom, and I don't plan on making friends either." I replied.
"Asia, how long are you gonna keep up this tough loner persona?" My mom asked.
"It's not a persona, I don't trust people in general you know that." I stated.
My mom sighed.
"Sweetie, I know you're afraid of making new friends after what happened back at your old school." My mom began. "But you can't let that stop you from making new friends."
"Mom, people are horrible and the only thing we have to do is be horrible back or else we'll never survive in this world." I explained.
"While I do agree that people are horrible, the only way you can win some people over is with you and your personality." My mom preached. "I know you're a kind girl, so keep being the kind girl that I know and love and that will people get to know and love."
I smiled as I hugged my mom.
"I will mom." I answered as I went upstairs to my room.
I sighed as I laid down on my bed and stared at the glow in the dark stars on my ceiling.
"I know it's going to be a junior year for me." I thought as I wrapped myself in my covers.
Another day, another pain in the ass.
Day 2 of me being at Moordale and it feels the same. It was during class when we were learning about the female reproductive system. While I was writing down the fill in the blank assignment, I felt a tap on my shoulder.
It was Otis.
"Um, letting you know that's the urethra and that's the vagina." He points out on my paper.
I cocked an eyebrow.
"How...did you know?" I asked.
"I...may know a thing or two." Otis replied.
I shrugged as I fixed my mistakes.
"Thanks man." I thanked as Otis nodded his head.
I got back to work only to feel another tap on my shoulder. Thinking it was Otis I whispered,
"Dude I get the answers."
I turned around only to see the blonde haired buck teeth chick from yesterday.
"Um, I'm really sorry to bother you but I'm Aimee." She spoke.
"Uh, hi Aimee." I greeted confused.
"I'm...having a party tonight and I was wondering if you would like to come since you're new here." Aimee offered.
Normally I would prefer to stay home and play on my switch but I know my mom would want me to make friends, so I'll bite.
"Alright, what time?" I asked.
"It's at 8 tonight." Aimee replied.
"Alright, bet." I chuckled out.
"Bet? I'm sorry but I don't have any money to bet." Aimee spoke.
I tried to hold in my laughter. Ah man she's one of those blondes.
"Nah, bet means "okay, cool" where I'm from." I explained.
"Ohhhh." Aimee exclaimed.
Maeve chuckled.
"I'm going as well, do you want to meet up at her house?" Maeve asked me.
"Uh, sure." I replied. "I might have to ask my mom if I could go though."
"What are you, 6?" Maeve asked.
"I mean, it's a respect thing." I answered.
I then heard the bell ring as everyone began to evacuate the class room. I walked out the classroom, only to be greeted by Eric.
"So, I heard you got invited to Aimee Gibbs party." Eric states with a smile.
"I mean, my mom wants me to make friends so the party is my only option." I explained.
"Do Aimee a favor and become her friend." Eric advised. "Seriously, that poor girl gets abused by The Untouchables all the time, especially Ruby."
"Isn't she one of them?" I asked.
"I mean only because her family is rich." Eric replied. "They're only friends with each other because of high status." He explained.
"Sounds fake." I stated.
"It is, it's fake like plastic surgery." Eric points out. "Anyway, I'm going to Otis' house to help him come out his cave of a room and help others with their sex problems." He explained.
"Y'all are going to the party too?" I asked.
"Yeah, especially if Anwar and The Untouchables are going to be there." Eric gushed.
He likes Anwar? One of The Untouchables? I guess it's because they're the only two openly gay guys in school.
"Alright, I'm meeting up with Maeve so I might see y'all there." I spoke.
All of a sudden, I bumped into someone.
"Oh shit my bad bruh." I apologized.
"No worries." I heard a familiar voice say.
I looked up to see Jackson.
"Oh, it's the psychic girl." Jackson joked.
I chuckled.
"And if it ain't the small dicked guy who saved my ass from drowning." I joked back.
"I told you my di...it's not your business." Jackson spoke.
"You two met?" Eric asked.
"Yeah, this guy here saved me from drowning in the pool the other day." I explained.
"Um, I haven't met you yet." Jackson spoke referring to Eric as he stuck his hand out. "I'm-"
Eric cuts him off while accepting his handshake.
"Handsome." Eric spoke.
Well, that's one thing me and him could agree on.
Jackson looked at him a bit taken aback.
"Uh, Jackson Marchetti." Jackson spoke as he cleared his throat.
"I heard about you, the star swimmer of the school." Eric stated. "I hope you're coming to the party tonight."
"Oh well, you're not the first person to ask...many people asked me to come." Jackson explained with a nervous chuckle. "But I'll be there most definitely."
When Jackson said that, Maeve walked on by. I watched as his eyes followed.
"Alright, see you there handsome." Eric flirted.
"Uh, see ya." Jackson replied as he walked off.
I smiled as I watched him walk off, which caught Eric's attention.
"Do you fancy him?" Eric asked.
"Fuck no." I deadpanned. "I'm not looking for a relationship here."
Eric laughed.
"You're saying that not but watch." Eric teased. "But I would advise you to be careful as well."
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Have you not seen the way he looked at Maeve and I know you've became frie-"
"I'm not looking for friends either, yet." I cut him off.
"Right, acquainted with, sorry, but I think he likes her or they have a thing going on." Eric explained.
"Lemme guess, rumor has it huh?" I asked.
"There's always rumors going around here." Eric answered. "But I'm saying this because I want you to be on your toes here, especially when it comes to relationships."
"Trust me, if I stumble and fall I'm taking the ones who've pushed me with me." I declared.
Eric looked at me with a smirk.
"Fierce much? I like it." Eric commented.
When I got home, I saw my mom in the kitchen.
"Hey mom..." I began.
"Hey Asia, how was school?" My mom asked.
"It was...cool." I replied.
Bro, why is this nerve-wracking?
"What's wrong? You sound like you did something wrong." My mom points out as she steps into the living room.
"No, no, I swear I didn't cause any trouble it's just...a girl invited me to a party tonight and I was wondering if...I could go." I nervously explained.
My mom chuckled.
"As long as you remember to come back at 11 and to not do any drinking or drugs, you can go." My mom replied.
"R-really?" I asked.
"Yes, I said it myself that I wanted you to make friends here so this is where you can start." My mom points out.
I smiled.
"Okay, thanks mom." I spoke as I hurried upstairs to get changed.
I didn't change into anything crazy, just a simple black lace dress that stops above my knees along with some high heel boots that was covered in studs.
"See you later mom!" I yelled as I rushed out the door.
During my walk, I walked past a caravan village only to hear someone call out,
"Asia!"
I looked to see Maeve running up towards me.
"Oh shit, I thought I'd see you at the party." I said. "I didn't know you live around here."
"Yeah, I know I live a post poverty life." Maeve joked.
"I mean, where you live at and what your home life is like is not my business, so I honestly don't care." I explained.
Maeve smiled at me.
"That...was the right thing to say." Maeve spoke.
"What? It's not like I'm bullshitting." I stated as we continued to walk.
Soon as we walked up to the address, I looked to see Eric jumping on Otis, which was pretty funny.
"You will die by fire and force because I'm sick of this man!" Eric yelled.
"Oh, hey ladies." Otis greeted.
"So, we're ready to party or what?" I asked.
I looked at the place, and damn! I gotta say, Eric wasn't bullshitting when he said that Aimee was rich.
Admittedly the party was jumping since almost the whole entire school body is here. I was just in the corner babysitting my drink.
Where are the others?
Eric was trying to impress Anwar and The Untouchables...
Otis was hiding in the bathroom...
Aimee was talking to some stoner kid...
And Maeve...I don't know where she's at.
I decided to walk around for a bit, hoping to bump into another familar face.
"Hey! It's Cock Biter's sister!" I heard a guy yelled out.
I smiled as I walked up to him.
"Mind saying that again?" I asked.
"I said you're Cock Bi-"
Before he could repeat himself, I kneed him in the dick making him collapse to the floor.
Fucking dick. I swear I'm assuming that majority of the guys at school are either closeted/openly gays or major assholes.
Only guys I can make an exception is Eric, Otis, and Jackson.
Speaking of which, Jackson did say that he was coming. I wonder if he's already here yet. I decided to go find Jackson, so I could maybe converse with him.
Not that I want to but rather because he's another familiar face.
"Hey, are you having a great time?" Aimee asked me.
"Yeah, I mean it's decent here." I replied.
"Decent?" Aimee asked.
"Sorry, it's just I rarely get invited to parties." I explained.
"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't know." Aimee apologized.
"Nah, that's nothing to be sorry about." I assured her. "I mean you do throw a nice party."
"Well, it wasn't my idea but my friends." Aimee pointed out. "They said that they didn't want to trash up their places."
I cocked an eyebrow.
"So, it's okay for them and other people to fuck up your house?" I asked. "Do your parents know about this?"
I know I told myself not to care but I'm trying to figure out why this girl is friends with these pompous assholes?
"Well, no, but I promised to clean the place as soon as everyone leaves." Aimee explained.
I sighed as I pinched the bridge of my nose.
"Aimee, why are you friends with them?" I asked. "I mean they're assholes."
"I mean, they may say some mean stuff but it's true most of the time." Aimee explained. "Plus we're all rich."
"Just because y'all loaded doesn't mean y'all should be friends." I pointed out. "At the end of the day money and status are pretty superficial reasons to befriend someone."
"Did you have any friends back at your old school?" Aimee asked.
"Honestly, I thought I did...but turns out I was a dumbass back then." I answered. "So, I got no one."
"Like a lone cat?" Aimee asked.
I knew she meant lone wolf but hey I'll take that.
"Yeah, something like that." I replied.
Aimee smiled.
"You know, you remind me of another person at school." Aimee commented. "She has the same attitude as you."
"Lemme guess, Maeve?" I asked.
"Oh, so you've met her!" Aimee exclaimed. "You two would make great friends."
I chuckled.
"I guess."
Aimee looked down.
"You good?" I asked.
"No, it's just...I've recently broke up with my boyfriend, Adam." Aimee stated.
Oh, so those two were dating...go figure.
"My friends said that I shouldn't be dating a flasher since it's bad for my rep." Aimee explained.
"Well, I'll admit what he did caught everyone off guard." I admitted. "I saw you talking to one of the stoner kids earlier."
"Who? Kyle? Yeah I mean...he's cute." Aimee admitted. "Speak of which, I think he's signaling me over right now."
Aimee walked off leaving me alone. I chuckled.
That girl may not be bright but she does seem nice.
I then remembered what I was doing and went to go find Jackson.
Again, only because I want to converse with him.
I searched everywhere for him but didn't find him, only smokers and horny couples. I had the urge to pee so I went in search of a bathroom while I was upstairs. I guess I should've asked Aimee before anything else because I opened a random door...
Only to find Jackson and Maeve...fucking.
"Oh shit! Asia!" Jackson exclaimed.
"Oh fuck I'm so sorry!" I yelled out as I closed the door.
Out of all things, why I had to see that?
I hurried back downstairs with my face flustered only to see people crowding around.
"The fuck?" I thought as I pushed pass the crowd to see Adam going toe to toe with Kyle while Aimee was screaming for Adam to stop.
"Stay away from her!" Adam yelled.
It wasn't just that going on, I looked over to see Eric and two of The Untouchable girls deep throating bananas while everyone was chanting,
"Suck, suck, suck a dick!"
"Suck, suck, suck a dick!"
"Suck, suck, suck a dick!"
Man, did shit escalate that quickly while I was upstairs?
All of a sudden, I heard a crash and looked over to see Kyle on the floor covered in ashes. Aimee was horror struck as she looked at the ashes she scooped up in her hands.
"Granny!" She cried out.
Ohhhh, those were her grandma's ashes.
After that fiasco, I just made my way home. I watched Otis and Eric walk out while Eric was stumbling and laughing.
Dude got hella drunk.
But honestly, I don't know which soured my mood: Seeing Jackson and Maeve or...I don't know what.
Wait, why do I care? I mean, what they are is not my business.
But, why did it make me feel shitty?
