nice! I always assumed all my moots were Indian (like me)!
What country are you from?
Australia! Makes me laugh at the moment because I see a lot of the Northern Hemisphere Youtubers I follow getting ready for summer, meanwhile I'm relishing the fact it's cold enough for me to wear Ugg boots and a jumper now.

well time to read/watch a bunch of stuff!
Thanks for answering my ask....If you don't mindnme asking (again), what are your top 10 (or top 7) favorite media (can be books/ manga/ anime/movies/tv series)? Why do you love them? Sorry if you've answered this question before.....
I don't mind at all, thanks for asking! :) I've not been asked before, so here are my answers:
BBC Merlin. This probably comes to no surprise to anyone who has interacted with my blog at all, but I obsess over this show. It is absolutely tragic, comedic, and romantic, all mixed into one. The plot is interesting and fairly well-crafted, even if some parts could have been done better. It's engaging, and the twists have me on the edge of my seat. However, I'm here for the characters ;) These gay little shits have my heart and will until the day I wither away. They are just - omg. Hilarious, for one, and tragic for another. And they all have weird sexual tension. Yay! I think most of the characters were not done justice by the writers, but I still love it so much.
Good Omens (book and TV). I love the book so much, because it's still distinctive of both Terry and Neil's work, and it's such an interesting concept. And yes, it does have some queer mentions, which I actually love. But what Neil Gaiman did with the show was just . . . Argh!!! I prefer Season 2 over Season 1, though I do think the whole climax of the story was much better done in Season 1 of the show rather than the book. It felt way more climactic lol. But the plot in Season 2! It's so well crafted and I am literally dying to know what happens next, because shit is going to go down. Additionally, the amount of amazing queer/poc/disabled rep is just so incredible. I love it so much. And yes, Ineffable Husbands does come into but honestly this is definitely a plot > ship show for me.
The Hobbit. I love the book for the epic fantasy and the feeling of home it gives me to read. I love the movies for the epic fantasy, the epic scenery, and the absolute tragedy because it's so much harder in the movies to deal with Thorin's death. I love all of the characters individually, and while there are aspects I really don't like of both the book and the movie (though I really hate some parts of the movies much more than the books), both are pretty good overall. I do enjoy shipping in this fandom as well but as with Good Omens, plot (and scenery lol) > ships.
The Discworld. I love this so much. Terry Pratchett truly was a magical writer and his legacy continues to resonated through his works. The Discworld books are very cool fantasy combined with hilarious satire and humour mixed up with plots heavy in social commentary, speculative elements, and insight into human nature. Utterly incredible. I love every character, because even the ones who appear at first to just be there for comedy reasons are built so incredibly well. I'm currently on Lords and Ladies and oh my. Oh my. I especially love the concept of Death. He brings me comfort, as does Terry Pratchett's take on religion on the Disc. It's all so amazing and I love reading it, because it feels like I'm connected to such an amazing human through tiny smudges of ink on a piece of compressed wood, and it feels like I am experiencing true magic. Utterly amazing.
Shadowhunter series by Cassandra Clare. The author came from fanfiction, and you can really tell from the way it is so, so satisfying. The plot is exactly that of some amazing fanfiction I would read, it just has that incredibly feeling to it. Every twist and turn is one that keeps me hooked because holy shit this woman can write. Plus, Magnus Bane.
Wheel of Time. This series is killing me!!!! I'm on book seven (Crown of Swords) right now and it's pretty involved lol. There are so many arching plots that weave together in a complex pattern. I have some quibbles with this - for example the fact that every romance arc is horrendously overdone, or that there are so many characters I can't keep them straight - but for the most part it's so epic.
Bluey. Amongst the epic fantasy, we have an animated children's show! I've been watching since it came out and I love it so much. It's so casually inclusive of different people. I mean - canonically, there is a kid with two mums! Yes!!! I love the way this show deals with such major issues while still being appealing and accessible for little kids who can't quite understand that yet. The underlying themes and some jokes make it appeal to older audiences, and the humour and simpler plots also make it very good for younger kids. It's a perfect combination and I love it so much. It's one kids show that is not just for kids, but for everyone because it hasn't been dumbed down. And when the kids watching it now grow up, they'll both have some understanding of some things, but they'll also realise the depth all of it has. Yeah, utterly awesome.
The Owl House. I love it so much! It's funny and tragic and gay. Wahoo! Also, magic ✨
Ranger's Apprentice by John Flanagan. I love this so much. John Flanagan writes so well, the fantasy is so compelling. And, the archery is actually fairly accurate!!! Like, man knew what he was doing! Halt is 100% my favourite character lol. This series is such an amazing combination of plot, humour, and just a touch of romance that keeps it interesting. I could do without most of the romance, but it's still enjoyable and Halt and Pauline? Gah!!!! The plot is so interesting, it's really incredible and had me on the edge of my seat when I first read it (not anymore, because I could probably recite the plot by heart for each book at this point lol). Character development is so well done even though it's fairly minimal for most of them, and I love that we get to see Alyss and Evanlyn (because I refuse to call her Cassandra) doing their thing. The humour is utterly hilarious, it's literally perfect, the found family dynamics absolutely slay, and also, there are chances for shipping. I much prefer plot to shipping with these ones but I do occasionally like to engage in Cralt or Craltine stuff because it's just nice :). Also, the fandom is utterly amazing.
The Belgariad by David Eddings. The views in it reflect the time, true, but it's still so good. The plot is really interesting, but mostly I'm there for the humour lol. Honestly the dynamics between all the characters are so interesting. Polgara and Durnik? Sold!!! Sold!!!! Sold!!!! I cannot describe how much I love those two!!!! The whole lore is so very interesting, and the banter between all of the characters I will die for. It's sort of a comfort series for me because I had it read to me when I was really young and I've loved it since.

take as much time as you need! thank you for agreeingggg <333
G'day gremlins! I wrote like 5k words yesterday, combining fics and on Tyrant's Reign, and I'm literally 200 away from 30k lol. I may also have stayed up way later than I intended to to do so. Ah, well.
I've just finished Chapter 5, and am pretty satisfied with it. I'm slightly worried it's a bit long (and a bit cringe in places) at 6.7k but I'll see what my beta readers say when I eventually get myself organised and ask a few people. As for now, here's an excerpt from what I wrote this week:
"Ignoring the jibe, because it really wouldn’t help to start a fight now, Jordi frowned at him. “They were getting revenge on the Queen for what she did to-“
“It doesn’t matter what she did! Revenge is to be gotten between the people who were involved, not thousands of innocent lives! Do you know how many people suffered because of their petty fight? How many people lost and grieved and hurt?!”"
The characters speaking here are Jordi (first line) and Alac (second line). There are a lot of moving parts in this story, far more than I'd actually intended, and I'm really hoping I do them all justice. I'm really trying to make my protagonists more morally grey than perfect heroes, but idk how that's going.

best brownies in the known universe (at least, according to my grandma)
some year and a half ago when i was getting ready to move out i combed through all the family recipes that lay lost to time and one of the ones that i found was my grandmas brownie recipe. idk where she got it from (nor can i ask cause she has dementia) and its a printed out email she sent to my mom in june 2000. but by george these the best brownies i have ever tasted. would she be pleased that i am sharing this recipe with my vast following? absolutely.
YOU WILL NEED:
5 tablespoons butter (unsalted) 1 ounce unsweetened baking chocolate (or as much as your heart desires) 2/3 cup unsweetened good cocoa powder 1 cup sugar (white) (superfine preferred, normal works fine) 1 cup sifted white flour (can use gluten free) 1/2 teaspoon baking powder as much cinnamon as your heart desires (your heart needs to desire at least some cinnamon. its essential to the recipe) 3 egg whites 1 egg splash of vanilla extract (again, non negotiable step!)
preheat your oven to 325 degrees. grease a square baking pan (9x9 preferably).
in a small saucepan over medium heat melt the butter and baking chocolate. while that is melting, sift together the flour, baking powder and cinnamon into a small bowl. once the butter and chocolate is done melting add the cocoa powder and cook it together for 1 minute. add in the sugar and stir. it will get very thick. this is correct.
set that aside to cool. while thats cooling take a large bowl and put in your egg whites, egg and vanilla. beat it up with preferably a whisk but you can use a fork if youre fresh out of whisks. once the chocolate is cool enough to not scramble your eggs dump it in the eggs and mix it together. add the flour in gradually and keep mixing until its smooth and happy.
spread into your greased baking pan. put it in the oven for EXACLTLY 18 MINUTES. very crucial step. they will come out slightly under done. that is what we want. as they cool they will continue to cook in the pan. we dont want them to get hard and sad. they are not good when they are hard and sad. do not overbake them. you will be sad.
slice them up and as the official last step on the original recipe says: EAT ENJOY AND MAKE MORE! (theyre very good with mint chocolate chip ice cream)

wow, the internet really messed with his brain am I right?
Was talking to an old school friend yesterday and he was complaining like "Yeah, all the girls at my school were either bisexual or non-binary I swear".
And I looked at him and was like. "You do realise, good sir that if they are non-binary they are not a girl. Also so what if people are bi or use they/them how does that affect you?"
He blue screened for like a whole minute then came back and said "But there are only two genders in this world and that's the truth of it."
"Okay but how does using they/them for certain people affect you in any major way?"
"Well there are only two genders and also I won't call them what they want I'll call them what they look like."
Other guy: "Why don't you just use their name? That way it's a mid-point between the two."
"But then they would start complaining about misgendering their name and......"
I knew his mum btw and she was about the chillest person. She was pro-queer and pro-trans so idk how he got this fucked up. Probably Andrew tate ngl.

tag yourself im the people hater and sister figure!
Random Character Profiles
Prodigal slacker. An exceptional intellect, capable of solving complex problems with ease, but absolutely no drive or motivation to apply their abilities towards any practical endeavors. Others are often frustrated by the wasted talent, but they couldn't care less. If their ideas are so great, someone else can come up with them. They're just here to laze around and have fun.
Loveable annoyance. A mind that dances on the border of sanity, and a perpetual source of simultaneous amusement and irritation. They delight in making puns and bad jokes at the expense of others' patience. Undeniably loveable nonetheless.
Reluctant recluse. They present a facade of rugged independence, portraying themselves as one who thrives on solitude and despises the company of others. They project an air of indifference towards others, often dismissing any attempts at connection or sympathy with a sharp retort or a cold shoulder. But beneath this tough exterior lies a soft spot reserved for the select few who have managed to breach their defenses—though they're reluctant to show it, going to great lengths to conceal the affection they view as weakness. Their stubborn refusal to accept help or acknowledge their own struggles stems from a fiercely guarded sense of pride, manifested in their vehement denial of any signs of weakness or vulnerability, even when they're visibly on the brink of death.
Sister figure. Sharp-witted and quick-tongued; will shame, embarrass, and ruthlessly tease. Their sarcasm is as much a display of fondness as it is merciless. Fiercely affectionate, extremely caring, unwaveringly loyal. Will put themself in danger for those they love, and will not hesitate to hurt anyone who offends or hurts those they care for; but mess up, and their sternness could make a warrior sob.
Impressively patient. Reserved, caring, mature, typically polite and tolerant to an extreme extent. May lash out occasionally. Possessive of a quiet strength, tending to observe situations with a thoughtful demeanor. Their reserved nature can be mistaken for aloofness despite their deep well of empathy and care for those around them. They navigate social interactions with a polite grace; however, beneath this composed exterior lies a potential for volatility on the rare occasions when they are pushed to their limit. Often the peacekeeper in friend groups.
People hater. Seems perpetually done with everything and everyone. Specialises in dry remarks and diminishing enthusiasm. General mood killer. However, their outward projection of disdain and superiority is really a mask of their own feelings of inadequacy.
Feel free to add on any other character descriptions you like! Happy writing ❤

wtf is wrong with some people?
This post may get taken down by a report but I have been informed that there's people going around mass reporting gimmick blogs.
We would really fucking appreciate if you didn't. If you've got a problem with us, just block and ignore.
Don't go around mass reporting people and getting blogs taken down. It's not fun for anyone at all.
We're just trying to have fun on this website. Thank you for reading.
Those of you who see this, please reblog it so the word gets around.
