my 2 year old received a toy firetruck this weekend, and now he keeps crashing it into things, letting it fall from various heights, and having it land on its side - which makes me think he's been influenced to believe that fire departments crash trucks on average 5 times a year. how do I explain this is actually statistical error? average firetruck crashes 0 times per year. 9-1-1 Georg who lives in LA and crashes 3000 trucks per day is an outlier and should not have be counted

- chimney had a rebar go through his literal actual brain and then was back at work one month later
- buck had an emergency tracheotomy done with a steak knife and a pen in the middle of a restaurant
- a tsunami. hello.
- an entire fucking bus that flew into the side of a building TWENTY STORIES UP
- chimney died. twice. in the same night.
- buck got struck by lightning, fell off a ladder, dangled limply by a rope, didn’t break a single bone somehow, was quite literally dead for more than three minutes, and then was ?? fine ?? and back to work ??
- NONE OF THEM HAVE ANY FUCKING SCARS ???????
- sure yeah let’s take an lafd chopper to mexico. of course.
- it’s never hotter than 70° in LA and everyone can comfortably wear pants and light jackets every day year round. in. southern california.
- they all still have their jobs somehow
