The news of #OurFlagMeansDeath's cancellation is deeply disappointing. David Jenkins envisioned a three-season saga, and if the production team is determined for another voyage, we stand by, ready to support. Time to retrieve our leathers and brace ourselves for battle. 🏴‍☠️

We're all sad and upset right now, but not all hope is lost. Please check out this thread and do what you can, crew 🏴‍☠️❤️

Now, more than ever, our voices need to be heard! There is a very small window of time to get WB Discovery to reverse their decision!

Blast them with sheer volume and love! Keep it positive! Threats do more harm than good.

Chances of Renewal or being picked up by another studio, here: Very, very slim. This was always meant to be a 3-season series. Another channel would have to license the rights to the first 2 seasons, pay for the 3rd season, and know that it’s not going to extend beyond that.

There’s no spinoff or franchise or merchandise opportunities for them at that point. Our best bet is WB Discovery allowing us a final season, in any form.

So what do we do about it?

[a] Letter Writing–We need thousands of people calling, emailing, writing and posting. Not just you, get everyone in your circle to help or to agree to let you represent them as well.

[b] Petition–We need tens of thousands of signatures to get their attention! Short and sweet messages. Get your friends in other fandoms to join. A signature takes one minute and can make a difference.

[c] Review–Going on IMDB (as a registered member–it’s free!) and Rotten Tomatoes, and rating each episode, is a huge boost. Rate other shows too, to keep the algorithm from discounting your voice.

[d] Streaming–Keep watching both seasons! Especially season 2. Watch on different devices. Get friends and family to watch or at least run it in the background.

It helps if you interact with it as well (pause, rewind, stop, restart, watching the BTS, etc.) to show you are actively watching it (even if you do this every hour or so while it plays in the background).

Tl;dr: We’ve got the tiniest window to reverse the decision! Call, email, post, write, sign the petition, review the show, stream it often on different devices. Get anyone you can to help do the same.

Always keep it positive. Always show the love and gratitude for having this incredible show to begin with. We’re here not just as fans of the show, but fans of the hardworking cast and crew, who deserve to finish telling this story.

we deserve a third season.

there was more story to tell we deserve to see it. We are a large loud passionate fanbase we deserve to see our story come to a satisfying conclusion.

Fuck max. Fuck the idiots harassing the crew because it didn't go their way. Fuck any network that doesn't scramble to let them finish this critically acclaimed show.

Honestly I'm kind of feeling like if a show with this much hype can't get renewed then nothing can. I feel like they're just going to keep trying to shove tired fucking franchises that needed to be put down decades ago down our throats. I feel like everything that's real art in this time is going to get it's budget slashed, or not get renewed so we can't see the ending, and they're just going to make another 500 star wars movies
